The Dragon Lords Conquest

It had taken me around 30 minutes to align another one, I was sitting down and taking a break as sweat drenched my shirt. the silence was something I still hadn't grown accustomed to since the house had always been loud with many random things going on, whether that was Mother yelling or Josh and Dad play fighting with swords or just other general excitement, not that I ever got to see them since I was always outside or locked in the basement.

Tears streamed down my face, giving my face natural warmth "Is there something wrong child?" Tethra asked her voice Hinting at concern almost, I wiped the tears away "No I'm fine, It's Nothing" as I wiped away the tears that got farther down near my Adam's apple.

A human woman appeared in front of me and wiped some of the tears away "Its ok to sometimes cry Ezra, but don't let Greif overtake your life" she was smiling her purple eyes were almost radiant "I Won't" she nodded "Good, because i have something to tell yo-"

Boom

The cave shook as a strange creature burst through the walls, it stoped moving but so did the moss "I don't have much Time Ezra, but ill send you somewhere close to Friendly people" she Handed me a small oval rock "Take this with you" She Pursed her lips, her eyes dimed "Go" time restarted and i was pushed through an Etherial Purple Portal.

"Tethra wait!" i quickly stood up and tried to get through the portal but it closed quickly "Where am i" i had said it in hopes that Tethra would answer, but she didn't, I Sighed "Why must everyone abandoned me" i looked around at my new surroundings and i was in a massive forest, i mean the trees were easily as big as some buildings.

It was erily Quiet almost as if the monsters awaiting further in were afraid to make a sound, but nonetheless, I made my way forward and I couldn't tell if it was night or day with how dark it was.

I sat a light ahead, but for all I know it could be like an angular fish traps, man Angular fish are ugly now that I think about it.

i observed the light for a few minutes, from behind a bush because of course, there seemed to be an old man with long ears talking to a few people, at least that's what I thought until they put a potato sack over his head and hit him with a rock, assumedly it knocked him unconscious because he slumped over and they threw him into the back of their buggy and began to ride off, so in a totally logical play on my part followed, yes that was sarcasm.

I ran on the dirt, it was flung up towards the trees, but i was still away from the Buggy far engough actualy.

they rode for a few miles down the road and then stoped and I assume began to set up their camp, they had 4 of them, they didn't seem to be seriously armed or anything so I could probably take them, if I could get one of their daggers and the one who was asleep seemed like a prime target.

Slowly I snuck over to him, making sure to miss any patches of leafs and branches since they were likely on high alert, and after about 15 minutes I made it to the tent where the man was loudly snoring, so I grabbed his dagger and jabbed it into his skull at his temple, he didn't have any time to react you know since he was asleep and all, 1 point for Ezra, i saw the rest of them sitting around a small campfire they made, the area i was in was surronded by sand, likely the road which didnt make sense since why would bandits hide on a Road, just think about that.

I somehow managed to sneak behind another and slit anothers throat but that alerted the others, and instantly the other 2 were coming for me "You Little shit, do you know what you just did" one of them yelled, he tried to lunge at me, but i side stepped him he face planted into the sand in respones i quickly stabbed his leg muscles causing him to yell in pain "Youll pay for that you little shit" the other one a much bigger sized man then said "Could he be the Bandit King, i heard he is Short" i had ran back into the darkness of the woods, it was unwise for me to try and fight a 2 v 1 even with 1 injured since they could know magic.

i hid in a high density of leafs area but behind me a branch Snapped behind me and then the world began to spin as the ground got closer

"If he hadn't been born we could hav--, Ow Ow" the boy who was impaled on a spike was currently cursing his brother, he was still alive due to a nearby Mana vein that had mixed with water "HELP" his echos Reverberated off the nearby cave walls he passed out from the strain and dreamed of the event that put him on that spike.

"If You give us all your gold and all valuables we will consider letting you live" a short man yelled across the battle field "If not then we will throw your son off the cliff and then maybe you will reconsider" a Brown haired boy was currently being lifted by his belt off of a cliff edge "Please" a women pleaded with the man, he sighed in frustration and set his hands on his Odachi which was firmly planted in the ground "Just give us all your money, or i will Kill all of you" he walked up to the Pleading women and touched her chin "Except maybe you, maybe ill keep you" she moved away quickly her dress was Stained with grass

the belt was beginning to tear "Make up your minds people, really there is only and option for you" a man threw a small bag at the man "Now that is Disrespectful, how about you hand it to me" the man Didnt move "I SAID Hand It To Me" the man didnt listen again, so the Short man walked up to the none listening man and grabed him by the face "Do you Want to die" he threw him towards the bag "Now hand Me the Bag Respectfully" once the Nonelistening man got up he grabed the bag and brought it to the Short man "Thank You" he almost spit the words at the Nonelistenng man "I Am The Bandit King, youll do well to remember that name, and if you come across me again by any stroke of luck then youll do good to remmebr this next part" he waved his hand down, and the boy was released from the grasps of his captor but he was still over the cliff edge.

the boy woke with a starleing Jolt that brought him off the Jagged edge of the rock, he was about to slight back down but some of the Mana droped onto his body and healed it.

"I WILL SURVIVE"
