"It can make a Pokémon evolve?!"

Sui was pleasantly surprised—this was truly a valuable item. However, before using it, he decided to examine the fluffy Pokémon in front of him. What was so special about this adorable little creature?

Curious, Sui opened the ingredient description:

—Fidough—

- Food Grade: B

- Description: This Pokémon loves sweets and becomes irritable when deprived of them. Due to its frequent consumption of sugary treats, its fur has become as sticky and sweet as cotton candy, and it can even produce candy floss-like threads from its mouth.

- Origin: Pokémon World.

"So, its fur and the silk it spits out are edible?" Sui mused, suddenly realizing why the fluff on Fidough looked so much like cotton candy.

Without hesitation, he took a pair of scissors, snipped a bit of the fluffy hair, and tasted it.

"It's so sweet, and the texture is light and delicate—it's the finest cotton candy I've ever had!"

Sui's eyes lit up with delight. The fur of the Fidough tasted just like top-quality marshmallow: soft, sweet, and velvety smooth.

Recalling the description, Sui took out a few Sweet Coral candies and handed them to the little puff.

Upon seeing the sweets, Fidough's eyes sparkled with joy. It devoured the candies in one swift gulp, then gleefully bounced around, wagging its tiny tail. Without warning, it leaped onto Sui's shoulder, affectionately brushing his cheek with its furry tail, showing its gratitude.

"The more high-quality sweets Fidough eats, the better the marshmallows it produces," the system chimed in.

"Got it. I'll make sure to feed it even more Coral candy next time," Sui chuckled. Coral candies weren't expensive, yet they were considered premium treats—perfect for feeding Fidough.

Though classified as a B-grade ingredient, Fidough was unique. It could continuously produce its own ingredients and even had the potential to evolve, making it rarer and more valuable than some A-grade ingredients.

Just then, the pokémon in the living room, drawn by the commotion, entered the kitchen. Before long, they had made friends with Fidough, and the group played together happily.

Seeing the playful pokémon, Sui suddenly remembered the evolution stone in his possession. Counting his Pokémon, he realized he had five now: Chansey, Miltank, the Combee, Shuckle, and Fidough.

[Note: my bad. It seems Combee didn't evolve.]

"Hmm, I wonder which one I should evolve."

After a moment of thought, Sui began to weigh his options.

"Miltank and Shuckle don't have evolutionary forms, so they can't evolve," the system informed him.

"A shame about Miltank," Sui said, feeling a twinge of regret. The milk produced by Miltank was delicious, plentiful, and highly versatile. It was undoubtedly one of his most useful Pokémon.

"And what about the Combee?" Sui asked.

"Their evolved form is Vespiquen, but Vespiquen can't produce honey. Instead, she can command the Combee and increase their honey production efficiency," the system explained.

Sui nodded. A Vespiquen could significantly improve the honey output, but since he only had a single Combee, that option wasn't ideal.

"What about Fidough's evolution?" he asked next.

"Fidough evolves into Dachsbun," the system responded.

"Does it have any special abilities?"

"Dachsbun's sense of smell is one hundred million times more sensitive than a human's, and it has an extraordinary ability to detect sweetness. It would make the perfect assistant for any dessert chef," the system replied.

"That's incredible!" Sui was stunned. A dog's sense of smell is only about 1,200 times sharper than a human's, but Dachsbun's was on an entirely different level. It was like a super-enhanced version of a 'nose for sweets.'

With an Dachsbun at their side, any ordinary chef could quickly become a master of desserts.

Despite his amazement, Sui realized that while Dachsbun would certainly enhance his desserts, his current culinary skills were already quite advanced. Though having an Dachsbun would improve his creations, he was confident in his ability to make delicious desserts on his own.

"I recommend evolving Chansey first," the system suggested.

After considering it, Sui agreed. The evolved form of Chansey was Blissey, and evolving her seemed like a wise choice.

Sui handed the Pokémon Evolution Stone to Chansey. The curious Pokémon inspected it for a moment before swallowing it. Within moments, Chansey's body began to glow, and she transformed into something new before their eyes.

The newly evolved Blissey stood taller than before, growing from 1.1 meters to 1.5 meters. Her upper body was a gentle pink, while her lower body was white. Soft, hair-like appendages adorned her head, and white, wing-like features encircled her body, giving her an air of innocence and grace.

Intrigued, Sui opened the description for Blissey.

—Blissey—

- Food Grade: A

- Description: Blissey's soft fur allows her to detect sadness. When she senses sorrow, no matter how far away, she will rush to the source and share her egg of happiness. Consuming this egg will instantly bring joy to the recipient.

- Origin: Pokémon World.

——

"Her eggs can make people happy?" Sui was astonished. It was the first time he had encountered an ingredient with such an effect.

Usually, only system-rewarded recipes had these kinds of special properties.

"That's right. Any dish the host makes using Blissey's egg will have the effect of inducing happiness," the system confirmed.

"That's remarkable!" Sui exclaimed. With the ability to produce happiness, Blissey surpassed even the highest-ranked A-grade ingredients. And to top it off, she could produce multiple eggs each day.

Evolving Chansey had indeed been the perfect choice.

Blissey examined her new form with curiosity, beaming with joy. She eagerly presented Sui with one of her eggs and affectionately nuzzled his hand, as if thanking him for helping her evolve.

"Haha, good girl," Sui smiled, gently patting her head before turning his attention to the egg in his hand.

Compared to Chansey's egg, this one was slightly larger, though there were no other noticeable differences.
