The Door of My Bathroom Leads to the Comic World!

Chapter 355: Chapter 353: Senpai Treat

The next day, even though Sui raised the price of admission tickets, the number of customers didn't dwindle. Instead, it surged. He was left with no choice but to open the restaurant for lunch as well.

Today's menu theme was tuna from marble tuna, and the exquisite flavors once again stirred the crowd into a frenzy. Even guests who had previously savored the finest bluefin tuna found themselves astonished. The tuna served at Sui's restaurant was far superior, even to the most expensive tuna belly they had ever tasted.

Over the past few days, Sui's restaurant had dominated the Mountain area, consistently ranking first in sales. It had even claimed the top spot for the entire school festival.

It was safe to say that Sui's restaurant had become the festival's brightest star, casting a shadow over even Eishi's renowned establishment.

Word of Sui's extraordinary culinary talents and rare ingredients had spread like wildfire throughout Tokyo's food warriors, creating an enormous buzz. Countless celebrities were eager to taste his food.

Nowadays, the hottest topic in elite food circles was Sui's daily creations and the rare ingredients he used.

For many, tasting Sui's dishes had become a status symbol. Rumors swirled that a single meal from his restaurant was being resold for up to a million yen on the black market—yet even at such a steep price, few were willing to sell.

That evening, after cleaning the restaurant, Sui and the others prepared to dine at Erina's restaurant as usual.

"Let's switch it up today," Rindō suggested with a grin. "I'll take you somewhere else for dinner. I feel bad always eating your food for free."

"Eh? Rindō-senpai, you feel embarrassed?" Sui asked, surprised.

Without a word, Rindō playfully caught Sui in a headlock, pulling him under her arm. "Are you making fun of me, Kohai?" she teased.

"No, not at all," Sui mumbled, his face pressed tightly against Rindō's ample chest, struggling to breathe.

Megumi, watching in amusement, asked, "Rindō-senpai, you're treating us to dinner? Where are we going?"

Rindō released Sui and smiled. "We're heading to Eishi's restaurant. You can invite Erina too."

Sui quickly called Erina, and soon after, the group set off to dine together at Tsukasa Eishi's restaurant.

Eishi's restaurant wasn't far, and they arrived shortly after. The elegant decor resembled a grand palace, with plush carpets lining the corridors that led to the dining area.

Inside, the restaurant was dimly lit, with only three tables. Soft piano music filled the air, creating a serene atmosphere. A beam of light shone down on the kitchen counter, where Eishi, dressed in a crisp white chef's uniform, meticulously prepared the evening's dishes.

"It feels so high-class here," Megumi whispered, visibly nervous. "I didn't think I'd ever get to eat Tsukasa-senpai's cooking."

Miyoko shared her apprehension, her usually confident demeanor subdued by the restaurant's grandeur.

"But the ambiance is truly beautiful and refined," Erina commented, nodding appreciatively.

"Relax, it's just dinner. Don't act so stiff," Rindō said casually, plopping into her chair and crossing her legs without a care for etiquette.

Sui glanced at her, amused.

"What's with that look?" Rindō huffed, grabbing Sui by the face in mock annoyance.

Sui could only smile helplessly.

Soon, the food was served.

Eishi's restaurant operated differently from most. There was no menu—he personally decided what to serve each day, believing that his cooking should communicate his feelings to his guests.

Today's theme was autumn.

The first dish was sakura shrimp. The moment everyone took a bite, they were stunned. The plump shrimp seemed to dance on their tongues, bursting with flavor that perfectly captured the essence of autumn.

"Amazing! Is this the strength of the first seat?" Miyoko exclaimed, surprised by the depth of flavor in Tsukasa's dish.

It was also Sui's first time tasting a meal into which Eishi had poured all his skill. Up until now, he had only tried some of Tsukasa's more casual creations. Sui nodded in appreciation—Tsukasa was undoubtedly a top-tier chef.

However, Sui couldn't help but think that his own skills were no longer far behind.

"You two seem so calm," Megumi said to Erina and Alice, clearly impressed by their composure.

"What's wrong?" Erina asked, momentarily puzzled. She glanced at Alice, who looked equally unfazed, and suddenly realized their reactions were too reserved compared to the others.

"Well, it's delicious, of course," Alice chimed in with a grin, "but I still think Sui-kun's food is better."

Erina blinked, realizing Alice was right. After tasting Sui's dishes so often, her taste buds had grown more discerning. The once-unattainable cuisine of the first seat no longer amazed her as much.

Of course, the exceptional ingredients Sui used played a part, but his cooking techniques were no less significant. In Erina's eyes, Sui was already on par with Tsukasa.

This realization stirred mixed feelings within her. She hadn't anticipated that Sui would improve so rapidly without her noticing.

As usual, after finishing his preparations, Eishi emerged from the kitchen to hear his guests' feedback.

His restaurant remained popular as ever. Securing a reservation here was no easy feat, and tonight's tables were fully booked. But as he listened to the murmurs around the dining room, Tsukasa couldn't help but feel disappointed.

Although a few guests were praising the food, most of the chatter revolved around something else entirely.

"What's the special dish at that restaurant today?"

"I heard it's tuna sashimi sushi. My friend had it for lunch and said it was better than the finest sashimi in the world. It's a shame I couldn't get a reservation."

"Yeah, the demand is too high, and there are so few seats. I've been trying to book a spot for two days, but no luck. I heard the black market price is up to one million yen now."

"Tomorrow's the last day, right? I wonder if that place will stay open after the school festival."

"Yeah, I'm worried about that too."

Although none of the diners mentioned it by name, Tsukasa knew they were talking about Sui's restaurant.
