Spanks and his gang surrounded Farmers home.

There was nowhere to run. Especially with Spanks army of gangsters around us. And I wasn't in the mood for all this.

Wait a second..

Hmmm... I smell something..

Something off about Spanks' backup.

Ah my dear Maria! Such a pleasure to see you again! Last I saw you, you were on a boat leaving Capo Initiative with a few of my friends."

FRIENDS YOU SOLD ME TO ASSHOLE!!" Maria shouted filled with rage. She tried to lunge at Spanks but Farmer held her back. Damn fool ruined all the fun.

Maria! You have to keep calm."

I..I'm sorry daddy. I'm so sorry. I nearly got you killed for a second there." Maria said as she calmed down. And the fun was over just like that.

No dear. I didn't stop you to save myself. I stopped you because who knows what kind of nonsense Spanks might pull on you. My life won't matter if you die first my dear." Farmer assured her.

Oh daddy." Maria said, feeling comforted.

I don't know why but I felt that damn feeling again when I saw them hugging together like that.What the hell was it?!

Awww! What a touching reunion! I feel so glad my Number 2 alerted me of your arrival. Thank goodness that big bald head is good for something at least!" Spanks mused as he pointed to the shirtless big bald man standing behind him.

Spanks was a lean man with long blond hair wearing a child's ski mask and a tuxedo clearly too big for his body.

Not the kind of guy you'd see leading a gang but he was and those fools seemed pretty loyal to him.

Speaking of fools, his Number 2 was clearly  large and ripped and I could see that thanks to his lack of a shirt. But he had a baby face with zero hair.

And a baby's temper.

Hey!! No fair boss! My head's got enough hair! Look!"

The Number 2 said as he tilted his head to reveal one strand of hair. Now it makes sense why this kind of idiot would follow a guy like Spanks. Sheer stupidity.

But what about the rest? None of them have moved an inch since this all started. And my canine instincts are going crazy here.

And what the hell was with those black suits they were all wearing?!

Well then move it along Maria! Since you're so inclined not to leave let's give you a permanent place in your town for all to see! Men! Seize her!"

With just one command, the mysterious men behind him started heading for Maria and Farmer and Maria began to fight back.

Ah ah ah my dear! You know what happens when you try to fight me and my men!" Spanks said with a clear big grin behind his mask.

Maria stopped fighting and let the men take her and as they were dragging her away, the people of the town who were hiding in their houses watched the scene with sad and angry  looks on their faces.

It seems Farmer was right that they'd be ready to fight at his command.

But why the hell wasn't he commanding them?!

SO YOU SEE EVERYONE! THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DARE TO GO AGAINST THE SPANK GANG!" Spanks announced as he made his exit along with his idiotic Number 2.

And I decided to make my exit as well.

W..wait Mr Spike! W.. where are you going??"

Well anywhere that's not here. This is disgusting." I told him.

I know it is! That's why we have to band together to stop these..."

You don't get it do you? You're the one whose disgusting!!" I shouted but Farmer seemed confused.

These people are determined to fight back but you and your cowardice are stopping them. You're allowing them to be oppressed because you're too scared to fight back!"

Farmer was silent.

There are a lot of things I hate, and weaklings asking for my help instead of facing their problems is one of them! I'm outta here.'

Farmer merely looked at me blankly. But then, just when I was about to jump out of town, he grabbed me.

Please Mr Spike!! Please!! I'm begging you help us! Please!!!" He begged me as tears began to roll down his eyes.

I was disgusted beyond belief.

I grabbed the dirty little man and threw him back to his house, sending him flying through a wall and nearly knocking him out in the process.

I was gonna go until another obstacle blocked my way.

The townspeople.

We aren't gonna let you treat our mayor like this and get away with it!" One man said.

Yeah! We've had enough of you criminals coming here and treating us like shit!" Some woman said.

Oh, just like how you didn't let Spanks treat Maria like shit?" I asked them with a smug smile on my face. The people went bolistic and started charging at me.

It was gonna be fun. It was gonna be a bloodbath. Until...

Wait! My people please!" Farmer arrived, bleeding all over his body from my little throw. " Don't attack him! I'm begging you all!"

And just like that, the people stopped in their tracks but and started heading to their homes.

That is until they heard a bell being rung at town square.

They all looked at Farmer expecting an order.

W..well don't just look at me! Go and find out what it's about!!" Farmer shouted in mild annoyance.

With that, the people were gone.

You see? Those people would follow you anywhere.  And your okay with having your followers be bullied by that childish prick?" I asked Farmer.

It's better to be alive and bullied than to be dead and free! You think I like having my people being oppressed?! You think I like seeing my daughter be dragged around like some dirt bag?! I let them do this because I can't bare to see my people hurt! Or worse!"

I looked at the man confused. He was obviously doubting himself as he looked at the ground and bit his lip.He clearly wanted to protect his people but didn't see they could protect themselves.

Why did that feel so familiar?

But no more... I won't let them  risk themselves for me." He said as he ran into his little shed. Once he came out, he pulled out a shotgun and two utility bells filled to the brim with bullets.

What the hell are you doing?" I asked him as he began running straight to town square.

Exactly what I should have done! Save my people!! You're right! I am disgusting! I always said I wanted to save them but in reality I'm just scared! Scared of dying! But no more!  These people believed in me and I have to prove I'm not some coward! I'll save them myself!! You're free to go Mr Spike, I'll save my town on my own!" He said as he headed to battle.

A battle he was gonna lose severely. But that wasn't his  concern. He just wanted to protect his people.

Now that was reason enough to help him out.

Well that's what I thought till my conscience appeared.

Hey where the hell are you going?!"

Anywhere but here! I'm gonna help that lunatic out"

Can't you see you're getting involved in something that doesn't involve you? I thought you said you don't help weaklings."

What the hell are you saying? Aren't you the one who said I should help her so she'd join my gang?"

For what? Oh! You're still obsessed with Maria joining the  gang eh? I'll admit, the kid is strong but that doesn't mean you have to get involved in this mess!"

No, this isn't about that! I hate when weaklings ask for my help but that guy was clearly no weakling!"

He was literally begging for your help like a little bitch just now! How is he not a weakling?"

Because he's ready to help his people himself. Despite the odds, despite the obvious disadvantage, he's gonna save them all on his own. I can't help but respect that. You're my conscience but you clearly know nothing about me. You and I have a clear difference in our definition of weaklings"

Then I turned to town square.

Hey! Where the hell are you going?!"

I gonna help him out. As I said, he's clearly no weakling."
