The Dogtooth family

Maria woke up in what looked like a cave from what she could gather.

She tried to remember what happened. Then like small flashes, her recollection of the past events came bit by bit.

Spike...

The sky whale...

And of course, the crash...

Then the largest flash of all came. One she wasn't familiar with. It was her danger sense. Lizardians had the ability to sense immense danger. This was a strange feeling for Maria because coming across actual danger was a rarity for her.

But this feeling meant someone stronger than her was nearby.

And they had an intense intent to kill.

Maria looked around and saw a black bulky human male sitting on a stool before her.

He was shirtless so his multiple tattoos with the word "DON" were clear as day. He wore pair of green ripped jeans and black socks with green sandals.

Who was this guy?

And where was she?

"Ah! You're awake! You hear that everyone?! She's awake! Now you all won't have to die?!" The man shouted with a deep authoritative voice.

That's when Maria noticed the crowd of people around her.

All of them women and children. They were all bald, dark skinned and only wearing cloth tribal attire with several green tattoos all over their bodies.

"Where am I? W..who are you?! What's going on?" Maria asked confused. She tried to get of the bed but immediately noticed she was chained to it.

And she couldn't escape. This was a shock to her because that means these chains could hold someone who can destroy entire castles with one punch.

Yes, yes. I can sense your confusion and it's understandable. You see, to put it simply, you crashed. Right into this planet's surface. Or is it a moon? It is orbiting around Podgea so i guess so. Anyway, once you crashed, I discovered you and your canine friend in the wreckage and I knew that a Lizardian would come in handy. The dog on the othr hand, was a problem."

Maria knew what "dog" he was talking about and an intense rage built up within her.

"WHAT DID YOU DO TO SPIKE?!!!!" Maria shouted in a blind fury.

"Hey now. No shouting. Your not the one in control here cold blooded bitch. Your dog is dead. Get that through your tiny little lizard brain. I threw the mutt into a little hole which led to the core of the earth"

Spike...no...we didn't even start our adventure yet.." Maria muttered as tears began to drip down her delicate green cheeks. But they were wiped away by this man. He then gave are a slight grin.

Maria looked at the man and got a sudden chill in her spine. She didn't know why but her whole body told her one thing.

RUN.

"And I can see you're trying to escape. Don't bother. That chain is made of Hard candy. One of the hardest materials in the whole East galaxy. The Capitolian Empire would pay a fortune for it. But I digress. My name is Patrick McPatPat but you can call me Pat and right now, you have to make a choice."

"A choice?"

I'm sure you've noticed the crowd of bitches and brats all around us. Lemme cut to the chase. My gang invaded to this moon and my boss gave me the mission of tracking down all it's inhabitants and killing them all. I was gonna do that, but you happened to come along and an amazing idea crossed my mind!"

"What do you want"

"You make a choice. You join the DonDon gang or I kill everyone here."

Maria immediately tried to break free but it was no use.

She had to choose.

However, she made her choice a before he even finished his sentence.

"I'm already in a gang. How about I break out of here and beat you up so bad you wont even find a straw that could feed you?" Maria said with a low tone which did well to show her anger.

"Hehe.. you're a funny girl. I'll give you that. You're boss is long dead but you're still claiming to be in his gang. That's some solid loyalty right there. It's a good trait to have, but not right now."

Pat then got up and started walking away..

"Where are you going?" Maria asked, slowly realizing what he was gonna do.

You made your choice didn't you? And it's time to for you to suffer the consequences." He said as he approached the women and children who were all cowering in fear.

Except two of them...

And what's with you? Can't you see you're gonna die bitc? " Pat said with a smirk to the expressionless woman holding her child tightly. This boy was small for his age had green tribal tattoos all over his body and despite his best efforts to hide it, he was terrified.

You come to our village. Attack our people. Kill us for no reason and you want me, the queen of these people to give you the satisfaction of showing fear? Ha! You make me laugh. I shall die with a smile on my face knowing I denied you that glory of seeing me weep!" The woman said and spat on Pat's face soon after.

Pat laughed.

"Hmmm I gotta say! Of all the backwards ass people I've seen here, you're the funniest. Even funnier than that refuge girl you accepted. That's why you're gonna get the pleasure of watching your people die. Starting with that shitty brat of yours. By the way, he is a terrible actor!" Pat said. The women began to scream in terror as Pat grabbed the lady's son and raised his hand to strike.

Maria tried her hardest to break out but to no avail. Thanks to her hubris, these innocent people are gonna die. It was Spanks and Number 2 all over again.

It was her father all over again.

No.

She wasn't gonna let this happen again.

Not now, not ever.

If she's gonna be a part of Spike's gang, she needed to be strong like him. He was the type to make rash decisions and had the power to back them up.

She needed to be like that too.

With the last of her might, the chains began to break and...

"CRACK!"

In less than a second, Maria broke free of her bonds and headed straight for Pat with all her might.

REPTILE STYLE, KERATIN KNUCKLES!!

Only for Pat to block it with ease.

Then his began to glow and a smirk appeared on his face.

1500, that's a pretty small Threat level. Even our weakest goon has a threat level of 2000. You're not beating me kid."

Slowly but surely, he placed his index finger on Maria's shocked forehead and tapped her, sending her flying at lightning speed out of the cave.

She had less than a fraction of a second to react, or all those people were gonna die.

REPTILE STYLE, TONGUE GUN!!

Maria send her tongue flying at incredible speed and luckily, thanks to it's sticky nature, not only got Pat, but pulled him away just she she flew out of the cave.

You're persistent. I'll give you that. Fine, lets see what your little threat level can do.

Now in the air, the true battle began...

The women in the cave watched in hope that this strange green girl would save them. However, one woman noticed something.

"W..where is Octavia?"

Upon hearing this, the women looked around and realized that one of their younger girl's had vanished.

She may have been an outsider, but she was one of them as far as they were all concerned.

The queen was alarmed most of all, because by all means this girl was gonna try to save her new home.

And get killed in the process.
