Devin finally released a long breath he has been holding for a longer time the moment she went out of the room. Even after she left, the whole place was smelling like a rotten sunflower. He grabbed a freshener and emptied half the container to clear off the rancid smell. All he could hear was perfume when she was talking to him. He wondered why some people wear it like they are not going to shower for weeks.

Devin closed his eyes and just after seconds, a fresh lavender fragrance transpierced into his nose. He could still smell the scent of her when she peacefully slept on his shoulders drooling all over. She acts like a baby, throws tantrums like a child. Devin shook his head and switched on his mobile to make a call to Harley for any mishaps in the meetings. Notifications flooded on his mobile like a bomb fire from certain someone the moment he opened.

Emotional blackmail.

"You look annoyed Devin." Blake chuckled entering into his office.

"I get automatically annoyed after I see your face." He deadpanned and threw his mobile on the desk not intended to read any further.

"Man! I am a loss of words in front of your sharp tongue." He shook his head and added. "Starting from next week, I will be working from NewYork. Don't oppose this time. I have already trained someone to replace me here."

"Offer declined." He lazily said.

Blake did not even take his words into count. He just needs to pack everything and show up at his office after a week, Devin would never oppose it. Blake was about to hand over a file for his signatures, his gaze unconsciously fell on the untouched banana juice. He finally remembered the important thing he wanted to ask with Devin, whether he is really dating Regina or it is a false rumour. He could hear the whispers of many female employees cursing at Regina for stealing their CEO.

"There is a rumour between_"

Devin's mobile phone rang cutting his thoughts.

"Blake I need to go somewhere urgent. Prepare the car." Grabbing his suit jacket he edged forward when the annoying person was not leaving him with peace until he visited her.

"All right." He still wanted to confirm the rumours, but seeing Devin's irked look, he kept the thought to himself.

"I will be leaving for New York tonight." To find the address of his little kit was at the tip of his tongue, but he held back not after she threw her childish taunts at him. Let her enjoy the wedding, I will pester visiting her office when she is back.

"Throw that juice into the garbage." He added gazing at the glass with a disdain.

Regina was pacing back and forth in the washroom biting her polished nails when she has not received any reply from the man she has assigned for her work. Her frown turned into laughter when her mobile beeped. She knew it would be a success, for the man would never fail in any missions.

[Plane ticket sent over your mail]

Gripping her mobile, she laughed eerily with the thought of spending six hours with her beloved.

Sitting in his car, Devin was contemplating if he should take a further step when his mobile ringed again further annoying him. Just how free time this woman has? He reluctantly lifted the call.

"Vincy! Are you here?" An exciting voice was heard from the other end.

"I am not staying for more than five minutes here." He would go berserk if he stays in this zoo for more than a day. Did she invite whole Seattle into her home? Everywhere he could see people.

"You promised that you would come to my wedding."

"You clearly know that I hate attending weddings and crowded places right? Besides, there are still ten days_"

He immediately stopped speaking when Devin could hear a familiar giggle, the one which has become his favourite music recently. He turned around to see a woman watering the plants occasionally swaying to the music. Although he was facing her back, he clearly knew who it is.

Despite Devin was born with a silver spoon and showered with lots of love from his parents, he had been running and running after the things in search of his own happiness for twenty-eight years and she dashed into his mundane world like a volcano creating havoc in his life and he stopped. His footsteps halted for the first time and he did not find the need to run anymore when he saw her. Without knowing to herself, she has showered and filled him with happiness. He never believed in love at first sight until he saw her.

"Vincy do you hear my voice? Can't you at least respond?"

"Sorry, I was suddenly off Leah. I will stay for your wedding." He cut off the call even before the other person could respond. All the morning anger washed away looking at his little kit's face, but it resurfaced again when he saw her in the shorts with all the men lurking around. Looks like I need to order some long trousers.

Devin swiftly hid behind a wall when she turned around looking at his direction. Not that he minded, he wanted to give a surprise to her.

Getting bored in the huge mansion, Leena snatched the watering pot from one of the maids tending to the plants. Dusting the hands-off after she finished her job, Leena turned around to see an outline of hotty standing at a distance but it vanished away in a blink.

She shook her head. Hallucination. Now you have started imagining him?

Brushing off her thoughts, Leena went inside the house feeling a little hungry again after all the work she had done. Aunt Daisy made her a veggie sandwich and orange juice. After eating, she walked into her room to play some games only to be welcomed by a drool-worthy scene just when she opened her door.

Water droplets were oozing and dripping over his naked torso, his sturdy physique glistened with the illuminated lights. His ripped muscles were screaming to ooze out from every part of the body. With just one look, women get swooned at the sight of him and men have to turn pale in comparison to him. There was only one word Leena could come up to describe him. Adonis.

You are still a real gentlewoman Leena! Even when you are bubbled up in your thoughts, you have not even crossed your morals by imagining him naked.

Why would he be here in the first place? Another hallucination. He will sure vanish away when she goes and touch him just like in the movie she watched. Leena wanted to experience that effect in real. Lifting her hand she walked ahead just like the actress did in the movie, but the effect did not happen when she felt like she hit a solid rock

Her foot slipped with a sudden start. Leena was about to fall on her back when her balance loosened, but the strong hands held her waist and pulled back into his embrace even before she could touch the ground.
