Xane casually took his stuff and walked back into the staff building.

Mia yelped, looking at him. "Oh, Hex Master, you are back?"

Xane smiled at her. "Oh, I decided to change my accommodation."

Mia clapped her hands. "Fantastic. Hex Master, have you decided which type of accommodation you would like to change to?"

Xane scratched his head. "Let's say I don't want to share my room with others."

Maya added from the side. "Hex Master, in that case, you can choose 5-point accommodation, or you can choose a 20-point 3-room set."

Xane asked. "Actually, before that, can you tell me if there is a Tier 3 food option?"

Mia said with a smile. "Oh, that comes with the 20-point accommodation. There you will get one special meal per day."

Zayn said inside his head. [Hey, ask her about the special Tier 2 meal.]

Xane mentally nodded. After a pause, he said, "Wait, not that. I mean, is there a special Tier 2 meal?"

Both Mia and Maya paused for a moment.

Mia asked in confusion. "Where did you hear that, Hex Master?"

But before he could make up anything, Maya pointed to his chest. "Did the medical Hex Master recommend that thing to you?"

Xane nodded to her. "Yeah, she said it will be helpful for my recovery."

Mia mumbled something in confusion, but then she nodded. "Hex Master, you have actually heard right. The academy did provide the special Tier 2 meal, but the vitality in that food was a little too strong."

Maya also added. "Hex Master, that kind of food is only suitable for Level 1 Hex Masters. A normal human or even a Level 0 Hex Master can't fully absorb energy from that food. You have to make sure to consume every last bit of the energy from that food, or else the remaining energy would corrode and transform into poison that could lead to instant death."

Xane stared at her with wide eyes and then questioned Zayn inside his mind. <Are you sure we are asking for the right thing?>

Zayn said in an uncertain tone. [I mean, in the novel, Miss Luna did make Liam go through inhuman training, but I never knew it was because of a food side effect.]

Mia asked in a low tone. "Hex Master, each serving of food will cost you 3 points also. Do you want to have that?"

Xane remembered the energy consumption in the projection plane, and then there was also the situation of his starved state. He decided to take a bit of a risk and said, "Okk, book me 2 servings."

Maya added in caution. "Hex Master, consuming more than one serving could be dangerous."

Xane waved to her. "Oh, don't worry about that. I just want to ask, do I have to come to the canteen or can they pack it?"

Mia danced her finger on the metal plate and seemed to check something as she said, "Hex Master, you could take the packed food, though you have to keep in mind that the food would only remain fresh for 48 hours. Beyond that, it would turn into poison."

Zayn said in understanding. [Oh, now that's great.]

Xane smiled at Mia. "Yeah, let's do that. As for the room, give me a 5-point accommodation."

Mia nodded her head enthusiastically and asked, "Is there any specific location you have in mind?"

Xane did not have to think much as he said, "Is there any room near the sidewalk? I don't want the crowded area."

Mia once again moved her hand on the metal plate and nodded her head. "Hex Master, there is a room available in the third wooden complex, first floor, and one at the fifth wooden complex, second floor."

Xane asked in confusion. "Wooden complex? Are these the big rows of wooden buildings near the track?"

Maya nodded to the side. "Yes, Hex Master. Each of these wooden complexes has 10 rooms, 5 on each floor. Though don't worry, as all these rooms have proper runes that don't allow sounds to move out of the room."

When Xane heard about the 10-room complex, he frowned a bit, but the moment he learned about the runes, he smiled. "Well, that's great. Okk, in that case, let's go with the fifth complex."

Mia asked. "Is there anything else, Hex Master?"

Xane shook his head and handed his ID to her. "Nope."

"Hex Master, your total would be 11 points." As Mia placed his ID on the big metal plate, she froze for a moment and then looked at him with wide eyes.

Xane just smiled at her and shrugged his shoulders. "Is there any problem?"

Mia shook her head and handed him his ID. "Nothing, Hex Master. You could collect the food in about 15 minutes. Is there anything else you need my help with?"

Xane was about to shake his head when he paused and looked at his stuff. He knew carrying his bag in daylight now would likely attract much more attention.

He'd just like to avoid that. So he just picked up the two books and the letter from his luggage and said, "Yeah, can you guys also transfer my stuff to my new accommodation?"

Mia simply nodded to him. "That won't be any problem, Hex Master. Also, the information about your new room is already marked on the map."

Xane smiled. "Cool." With that, he wasted no time and placed his hand on his ID. Soon, the campus map appeared before him.

The good thing was that this new accommodation was next to the track, so it was not far from the staff building.

He just grabbed a pair of clothes with a grey robe and walked out of the staff building.

Zayn reminded him. [Oh yeah, dude, we have to buy a new robe, you know. Now this is the only usable robe we have.]

Xane rolled his eyes. <Will ask her sometime later.>

Zayn mentally nodded. [Ok, I understand.]

Xane just calmly walked down the track, and soon he found the 5th wooden complex.

All these complexes were more like wooden apartment buildings with shared corridors.

The good thing was that the stairs to the second floor were just next to the bottom corridor.

It was great, as this way, he did not have to care about who lived below him.

Xane wasted no time and rushed to the last room at the back. Just like his earlier accommodation, he simply tapped his ID on the door, and the next moment the door clicked open.

As he walked in, he was surprised to actually find a cozy, warm environment.

Even though it was a single room, it was very spacious. Not only that, there was a bed, a table, chairs, and also a few extra shelves.

Also, there was this small area separated by a folding shutter toward the right side that led to a small kitchen slip with a couple of utensils.

Not suitable to prepare food here, but a perfect place to enjoy the food in calm.

At the leg side of the bed, there was a door that led to the bathroom.

Even though the size of the bathroom was the same as his last accommodation, there were extra things inside.

The really good thing about this bathroom, though, was that he did not have to smell other bastards here.

Finally, at the bottom side, there was another door that led to a small balcony. A perfect place to enjoy the night sky or get some morning light.

After a quick tour of his new place, Xane started looking for the perfect spot to hide his letter.

Though none besides him should enter this place, he still decided to act with caution.

Not long after, Xane finally walked out of the bathroom fully charged.

Zayn said in excitement. [Damn, I never knew we could even cool the water.]

Xane also smiled, as even he was surprised to find that here he could not only control the temperature of the water, but also cool it down.

The cold bath just now made him feel alive.

Xane calmly wore the clothes and said, "We have 31 points and 2 ultra-energy foods. I think it should be sufficient to go all out, right?"

Zayn made no excuse and said, [More than sufficient. We are not coming out until we form the mark.]

Xane smiled. "Yup, that's the spirit." With that, Xane put on the robe and walked out of his room.

There were thousands of things going through Xane's mind as he walked toward the canteen. He suppressed all those thoughts as he knew failure was not an option now.

It was either they find that damn world or they would die trying. This situation excited him a bit, as it reminded him of the gambles he used to take in his past life.

It was just that this time, both of them were forced to gamble. After all, what was the point of being in the academy if they would not be able to use Hex Energy?

Xane suppressed himself from thinking any further as he collected the 2 portions of special-tier meals and walked toward the Black Castle.

It was finally time to see his dear Hex Master again.
