The birth of the crimson goddess
Pov Rimuru,
As I was waiting impatiently for Dia-sama's return, we received a message from Hades, wanting to meet us about the miasmas.
Not knowing when Dia-sama would return, I decided to go, prepared for an attack, and that’s exactly what happened.
For 15 minutes, I fought off all the Reapers who tried to kill me before Dia-sama appeared and joined the fight.
She helped me battle the Reapers while I weakened Hades whenever I could.
At one point, he realized our plan and attacked me. Starting to feel tired and facing one of the ten strongest beings, I began to despair.
Dia: "CIEL, TRADE PLACES WITH ME!"
Before I fully understood what Dia-sama meant, I suddenly found myself in the spot where Dia-sama had been, and Ciel took control of my body, as I wasn’t ready for the sudden switch.
Rimuru: 'What’s the matter, Ciel? Why did you exchange my place with Dia-sama?'
Ciel: [Because Dia-sama gave the order to do so. She was ready to sacrifice herself so that you wouldn’t die.]
Rimuru: 'But my life exists for Dia-sama. She should sacrifice me for her life.'
Ciel: [I’m sorry to say, but she would never accept sacrificing you.]
While I was arguing with Ciel, Dia-sama blocked Hades’ attack while preparing a devastating strike.
It’s the first time I’ve ever sensed so many PODs in one of her creations.
Before launching her attack, her six pairs of wings emerged and began to take on a crimson hue as a new pair appeared.
At that moment, I felt a sharp pain in my heart.
Ciel: [Alert, the host is about to undergo an evolution.]
Before I passed out, I saw Dia-sama’s imperial claymore fall on Hades, cutting him in half.
Pov General,
Testarossa was quietly working on the politics of Pandemonium with Ultima when they suddenly felt an immense pain, and their wings emerged from their bodies, taking on a crimson tint.
All the other members of Dia’s peerage felt the same pain, and even those like Diablo, who tried to endure it, eventually fainted from the overwhelming intensity.
The Evil Pieces in a box began to shine and release an immense amount of power.
In another place, the gods Indra and Shiva were having tea with the goddess Kali when both Kali and Shiva suddenly paused and looked in the same direction.
Shiva: "A deity of destruction has awakened."
Indra: "Are you sure?"
Kali: "Of course we’re sure. We can feel when someone awakens to the same divinity as us. Do you think it’s the young Gremory who has awakened?"
Shiva: "I would have expected her to awaken in 100 years, but I don’t know of any other candidate."
While the Hindu gods were pondering over the deity of destruction that had awakened, Scathach felt the power and immediately knew that Dia was the cause.
Scathach: "So, you’ve grown stronger. I’m really looking forward to facing you when you return."
She smiled maniacally.
In another place, the Sun Deity, Amaterasu, observed Dia's evolution as usual, ever since she and her friends had saved Inari.
Amaterasu had a child-like appearance, with brown hair and eyes. Despite her youthful look, she radiated an atmosphere of immense wisdom.
Amaterasu: "Tsuku, little Dia has become a goddess."
Amaterasu spoke to her sister Tsukuyomi, the Moon Goddess, who had black hair with red streaks and purple eyes.
(Author’s note: both characters have the same appearance as those from "Isekai Slow Life.")
Although Tsukuyomi was a goddess with immense power, she had never sought to increase it, preferring instead to draw pictures, which she would later animate by projecting them onto the moon.
Amaterasu: "Now, it's almost certain—Dia has become one of the 10 strongest beings."
Tsukuyomi: "Do you think she'd be okay with me making a portrait of her?"
Amaterasu: "I'm sure she'd love that. It could be a wonderful gift to thank her for her help so long ago."
In Asgard, the thunder god Thor was fighting in the arena when he felt a change of atmosphere.
Thor:" Something new is happening."
The last three lives of the ten strongest, each of them dragons, sensed the explosion of destructive energy. Some were closer to it than others, but none were particularly concerned, except for Great Red, who did not expect what would happen after the attack.
