Pov Dia,

After threatening—uh, I mean, making an agreement with the Greek pantheon, I went to see Scathach-sensei to tell her about my new status as a god of destruction and my victory over Hades.

Scathach: "I congratulate you on killing Hades. He was starting to annoy me, and if you hadn’t killed him, I would have done it myself. Now, I’d like to know the specifics of your power. Even though Kali and Shiva are both gods of destruction, their powers of destruction differ."

Dia: "I have the power to destroy laws and concepts. For example, if someone is immortal or invincible, I can destroy them with my power. It may take more time and energy for certain cases, but I can destroy anything as long as I have enough energy. I could even sever the link between a Sacred Gear and its user without killing the user."

Scathach: "Interesting. I have a request to make—if possible, could you bring me the True Longinus if you ever get the opportunity?"

I was very intrigued by her request because the True Longinus is one of the greatest scourges for devils and holds immense power.

Dia: "The only condition under which I would sever the link between the True Longinus and its bearer is if he abuses its power or irritates me. Otherwise, I won't lift a finger."

Scathach: "That’s acceptable."

After that, she asked me for a fight, which I accepted.

I didn’t have full control over my new power yet, but I nearly destroyed Scathach-sensei’s favorite spear.

If I had more energy, I would have done it without a second thought. However, still recovering from the previous battle and lacking full mastery over my new abilities, she beat me into the ground.

Dia: "I’m sorry, I wanted to learn how to control this power during the fight, but the only thing I managed to affect was your spear. So, you have every right to be mad at me. But please don’t kill me, I have wives and children waiting for me at home."

Scathach: "I’ll only do it if you promise to attend the Top 10 dinner. They need to know who killed one of our own, and maybe you’ll now be part of the ranking."

I agreed because I had no choice, but she warned me that the dinner wasn’t exactly a pleasant gathering—it’s not like eating with friends.

The only thing that made me want to attend this meeting was the chance to finally meet Amaterasu. After all, she’s the daughter of Inari and Kurama, and I’ve heard so much about her that I wanted to meet her at least once.

After that, I returned to where the members of my peerage were, all of them curious about where I had been. They proudly told me they had all grown stronger.

A few days later, we decided to call ourselves the Crimson Devils because we were no longer just ordinary devils.

That same day, I received a message from Persephone telling me about a grim discovery.

In a secret piece there was a body in a very bad state but my blood knew who it was.

She was Lillith the mother of all the devils.

Her condition was awful, with wounds everywhere and around her were abominations of which I knew she was forced to give birth.

Out of respect for her and to alleviate her suffering, I used my power to destroy her to the soul without having to hurt the soul.
