The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System

Chapter 311: 311 - Blackbeard

Blackbeard covered his body with metallic Qi as a fireball hit the tunnel entrance.

A wave of extreme heat, capable of melting steel, crashed into him.

When the heat ceased and he opened his eyes, he saw only his brother's corpse, completely charred, torn into dozens of pieces by the force of the explosion.

With trembling steps, he came out of the tunnel and saw the figure of a beautiful woman with golden hair. Balls of fire danced in her hands , before falling on the pirates below.

At the same time, hundreds of soldiers burst through the only land passage, bringing more death to the pirates.

"You..." Blackbeard gritted his teeth, his face filled with a crazed rage and a powerful murderous intent. "You dare hurt my brother?" he roared, bringing out a large axe in his hands.

Margareth immediately sensed the danger. Five translucent barriers appeared in sequence around her body.

"DIE!" Blackbeard launched himself at her like an enraged beast. His axe hit the first barrier, shattering it like a glass cup.

The same happened with the second, third and fourth barriers.

Only at the last one did Margareth finally release all her mana, managing to stop the attack.

"Push!" she shouted in a strange language. The wind around her created a powerful shockwave, sending Blackbeard flying away.

Simultaneously, she launched a flurry of fire projectiles, each one sharper and more powerful than the last, hitting the enemy's metallic Qi.

She was versatile in almost all types of magic, but fire was her most powerful specialty. Combined with her huge mana reserves, she was almost unbeatable against enemies of the same level.

"Give up your head, you filthy son of a bitch!" Margareth cursed, continuing to fire attacks non-stop, her huge breasts bouncing with the backlash of each strike.

"Ugh..." Blackbeard spat blood, his arms burning as he tried to protect himself from the torrent of attacks, each one only increasing his inner rage.

"Enough!" He finally reached his limit. His metallic Qi exploded in a powerful shockwave, and a new type of Qi appeared on his back, strange to almost everyone there except Qingyi.

"Lineage Qi..." Qingyi whispered, slitting another pirate's throat.

Honestly, he wasn't even sweating in that battle. Every casual swing of his sword claimed a life.

Behind Blackbeard, an enormous bluish figure emerged. Large translucent tentacles clung to the stone as the shape of a giant octopus appeared.

Immediately, everyone shuddered. Even Margareth's mana was suppressed.

"As I expected, it's a bloodline... what is someone with such rare power doing as an ordinary pirate?" Qingyi asked.

Even in Immortal Heaven, bloodlines were rare.

It would be enough for that pirate to present himself to any noble family to be easily welcomed - no, great sects and noble families would fight to have him.

A real waste of talent.

Unlike the other soldiers, Qingyi felt no particular suppression from that lineage, only a reduction in the effect that his own would have if it were already active.

So he continued killing casually, his eyes focused on Margareth, ready to intervene at any moment.

This was no easy battle, not even for him.

"What kind of trick is this?" Margareth's eyes widened as she felt her mana shudder.

Even after a few years in that place, she had never seen anything like it.

"YOU WILL PAY FOR MY LITTLE BROTHER'S LIFE!" Blackbeard roared, advancing again. A steel dragon formed behind his axe as he attacked.

Margareth could only defend herself, forming more and more barriers in front of her, trying her best to push her opponent away.

But it was no use.

Her mana was severely suppressed, each of her most powerful spells being broken by Blackbeard's attack.

Originally, she was slightly stronger than the pirate, but when he activated his lineage projection, everything changed. Now he was at least five percent stronger.

It was a small difference for ordinary people, but for high-level experts, it was simply absurd.

Especially considering that Blackbeard was older and more experienced.

Margareth gritted her teeth and a thin trickle of blood ran down her plump lips. She opened her hands and pushed all her mana out, forming a powerful barrier.

The pirate's attack hit this protection with frightening force, throwing it against the cave wall.

The impact caused a huge explosion, opening a crater in the blackened stone.

Cracks spread throughout the protective bubble, but Margareth was not discouraged. On the contrary.

She pointed a single finger towards Blackbeard's exposed chest, putting all her remaining mana into that last attack.

Fortunately, the pirate was also at his wits' end, having already used up almost all the bloodline Qi he still had.

Closing her eyes, she released a thin bullet of extremely dense fire mana, which hit Blackbeard's chest, exactly over his heart.

A relieved smile came over her face when she realized that her enemy hadn't dodged or defended himself.

But the smile disappeared the moment he noticed the pirate's gaze.

"I - blergh..." He coughed up blood without stopping. "I'm not going to die like this!" He advanced towards Margareth, using what little strength he still had to try to cut her neck.

The beautiful mage closed her eyes, trying to activate some defensive artifact.

But she didn't even have enough mana left; she was completely drained.

In the end, she just relaxed.

She still had so much to research, so much to learn.

She didn't want it to end like this.

Blackbeard's face filled with delight when his axe came within centimeters of Margareth's body, but that satisfaction disappeared the next moment.

"What?" Margareth's eyes suddenly opened wide.

She felt a strong, protective embrace, her huge boobs squeezed against a firm abdomen.

"Don't worry, Lady Margareth, I'm here." Qingyi smiled as he saw her blush, his sword cutting into Blackbeard's hand and parrying his attack.

He thought it was all over, but he soon realized that the Qi behind him was going crazy.

"Fuck, is that son of a bitch trying to blow up his dantian?" Qingyi realized.

To blow up the dantian was to blow up the soul, to deny the right to go to the wheel of reincarnation.

Was Blackbeard really willing to go that far?

Gritting his teeth, he hugged Margareth tighter, using his body and a powerful ice barrier to defend her.
