Chapter 9: Sex talk and sketch book
"How true the saying is... Fuck a cheap pussy and it starts telling cheap lies," Xavier murtered in a sneer.
"What ?!" Maya exclaimed in Shock." Did you just call me a cheap slut?" She questioned in agitation.
Maya's eyes blazed with fury as she snarled, "Your words, not mine!" Xavier's sardonic smile twisted his face, his eyes glinting with amusement.
With a swift motion, Maya's hand flew up to slap him, but Xavier caught her wrist in a vice-like grip. She struggled to break free, her face reddening with rage, but he held fast. Maya's eyes flashed with anger, her nostrils flaring as she tried to yank her arm away. Xavier's grasp only tightened, his fingers digging into her skin like a manacle.
"Don't even dare!" he warned, his deep voice low and menacing, sending a shiver down Maya's spine.
Her mom's eyes sparkled with curiosity, but before she could formulate her question, Kamsi's swift response filled the room. "Yes, the female reproductive system. We were asked to draw and label it in school." Kamsi's voice was laced with a hint of excitement, her eyes shining with newfound knowledge.
Her mom's expression shifted from curiosity to surprise, her lips forming a gentle "Oh" as she settled onto the edge of the bed. The silence that followed was palpable, the only sound being the soft rustling of the bed sheets as her mom sat down.
Kamsi's gaze drifted from her book to her mom's expectant face, her eyes locking onto hers with a questioning intensity. "Mom, is there something you want to talk about?" The words hung in the air like a challenge, Kamsi's pencil poised mid-air as she awaited her mom's response.
Her mom's eyes locked onto hers, a deep breath preceding her words like a promise. "Actually, there is." The silence that followed was heavy with anticipation, Kamsi's heart beating in tandem with her mom's measured tone.
"Kamsi, I want to talk to you about sex." The words were laced with a gentle urgency, her mom's eyes burning with a deep sincerity. Kamsi's eyes darted away, her cheeks flushing with a mix of embarrassment and discomfort.
"Sex is a beautiful thing, but it's also a big responsibility," her mom continued. "I know you're growing up and curious, but I want you to know that abstinence is the best choice. It's not just about preventing pregnancy or diseases, but also about respecting yourself and your body. Sex should be between two people who love and trust each other, and it's not something to be taken lightly. I made mistakes in my past, and I don't want you to follow in my footsteps. I want you to wait until you're ready, until you find someone who truly loves and respects you."
Kamsi's eyes widened, her gaze drinking in the gravity of her mom's words. Her pencil slipped from her fingers, her full attention focused on the wisdom unfolding before her.
"Promise me that, Kamsi," her mom's voice was laced with a gentle urgency. "Promise me you'll wait until you're ready, until you find someone who truly loves and respects you."
Kamsi nodded, her eyes still fixed on the floor. "I promise, Mom. I'll wait." Her voice was barely audible, her discomfort palpable in the silence that followed.
Her mom's smile and warm embrace enveloped her, but Kamsi's discomfort lingered, her eyes avoiding her mom's gaze as she muttered a soft "Thanks, Mom."
Maya's glare could have incinerated him on the spot. She wrenched her hand free, her movements violent and jerky. "I hate you!" she spat, the words tasting bitter on her lips.
Xavier's face remained impassive, his eyes fixed on her with an unnerving intensity. Maya's anger boiled over, her hands shaking as she hastily dressed. She shot him a dagger-like glance before storming out, the door slamming shut behind her with a deafening bang.
Xavier's expression finally cracked, a devilish grin spreading across his face as he lit a cigarette and took a long, stylish drag. He gazed at the drawing in his hand, his eyes gleaming with a mischievous light. "What a violent chick!" he chuckled, the sound low and husky.
The trio lounged in their favorite hangout spot, surrounded by the familiar comforts of worn couches and faded posters. Damon's grin stretched wide as he proclaimed, "All hail King Xavier, the monarch of the ladies!" The guys erupted into laughter, their banter flowing like a well-rehearsed routine.
Gilbert's eyes widened in disbelief. "Dude, you mean she just let you sketch her...like that?" He couldn't finish the question, his voice trailing off in astonishment.
Xavier's nod was smug, his smile hinting at a secret only he knew. He tossed his homework notebook at his friends, and Gilbert caught it mid-air. As he flipped it open, his eyes nearly popped out of his head.
"What the...?" Gilbert's voice was laced with shock, his gaze fixed on the sketchbook.
Damon's curiosity got the better of him, and he snatched the book from Gilbert's hands. "Holy moly, is this...?" His voice trailed off, his eyes scanning the pages in awe.
Xavier's smirk grew wider, his face radiating a self-satisfied glow. "My work of art, gentlemen," he said, his tone dripping with pride.
Damon's eyes were wide with wonder. "This is...wow." He couldn't find the words to describe the intricate sketch of Maya's female form, the details so vivid they seemed to leap off the page.
Gilbert's laughter was infectious, and soon all three were in stitches. "Tell me you're not going to let this girl slip out of your hands, Xavier!" Damon asked, his voice laced with amusement.
Xavier's response was nonchalant, his shrug accompanied by a sly grin. "I already had her, guys. You know I don't like repeating my meals." The guys burst into laughter again, their camaraderie and banter filling the room with an easy, comfortable energy.
