"Almost there, almost there, not much longer now." Ye Shikai downed the red wine in his glass in one gulp and replied nonchalantly.

"Is that so? Sister-in-law, when are you two planning to have the wedding?" Wang Kai chuckled lightly and turned to ask Su Qingyu, since Ye Shikai wasn't answering.

"Not too long from now, we haven't started preparing yet," Su Qingyu said with an awkward smile when asked.

"True to form as a couple, even your answers are in sync." Wang Kai laughed, taking a sip of the red wine before him.

"Brother-in-law, where have you been these past two weeks? You seem really exhausted," Su Ziqing asked out of boredom, echoing the afternoon's question.

"Really? No, I'm feeling much better now," Ye Shikai repeatedly said, seemingly a bit anxious, prompting Wang Kai to sense a whiff of something amiss in the air.

"Old Ye, he—"

"Cough, cough." Before Wang Kai could finish, Ye Shikai quickly started to cough, effectively "blocking" Wang Kai's words.

"Qingqing...I got...choked...quick, get me...a glass of water." Ye Shikai took the opportunity to cough vigorously, thumping his chest.

"Oh, okay."

Pretending to be in distress, Ye Shikai turned his head away and glared fiercely at Wang Kai.

After the meal, Ye Shikai went back to the room to change his clothes, not expecting to find Su Qingyu sitting on the bed, dressed in a black evening gown paired with black high heels, looking all the more solemn.

"Qingyu, are you going out too?" Ye Shikai changed his clothes while asking.

"Yes, there are some matters at the company, I need to check on them," Su Qingyu stood up, ready to leave, but then she suddenly turned around and said, "Remember to bring Qingqing back early, don't stay out too late."

"Are you referring to Qingqing, or..."

"Both of you," Su Qingyu glanced at her watch, her tone firm and slightly annoyed: "You must be home before twelve o'clock, do you hear me?"

"Alright, then I'll also follow my brother-in-law's lead and call you Old Wang," Su Ziqing replied, far from embarrassed and instead full of spirit.

"Yeah, they're all my classmates."

"Ladies, let me introduce you, this is Old Wang." Su Ziqing brought Wang Kai up to everyone and gave a brief introduction.
