The Bizarre Wizarding World

Chapter 486: Guardianship (Part 2)

From the perspective of interests, Booster might not be a good leader, but such qualities are ultimately rare.

How many people in his position could still make such a choice?

Those so-called considerations for the bigger picture, in the end, might all become considerations for oneself...

The wizard's army halted in the vast snowfield.

Booster's figure was small, but these wizards possessed extraordinary vision, and they clearly saw Booster flying out toward the Blizzard Wall.

That thin, even slightly desolate figure.

...

Whoosh!

As he advanced, Booster also activated witchcraft, gradually concealing his figure.

He needed to proceed cautiously and survive to ensure that the people of the Nolan Continent could live better in the future.

A moment later, Booster arrived in front of the Blizzard Wall.

Pure white snowflakes flew wildly, like torrents of rushing water.

After carefully probing for a while and not finding any danger, Booster took a deep breath, hesitated no longer, and plunged in, his figure quickly swallowed by the blizzard.

Within the glacier, Shelley's eyelashes trembled slightly, but as if thinking of something, they relaxed again, and a faint smile tugged at the corner of her mouth.

Swoosh!

Meanwhile, as soon as Booster flew out of the Blizzard Wall, he felt an ominous sense of threat, like thorns on his back, causing his hair to stand on end!

'This isn't right. I clearly used Concealing Witchcraft...'

Booster felt puzzled, but then he noticed the conspicuous snowflakes swirling around him.

His heart sank slightly, and he looked in the direction from which the sense of threat came.

On the tranquil ice field, a figure with a strong aura was flying straight toward him!

Booster first frowned, but then was slightly stunned... this figure's appearance seemed somewhat familiar?

"Councilman Colin?"

Realizing quickly, he shouted, hastily dispelling the Concealing Witchcraft on himself.

"Councilman Booster?"

Colin's rapid flying motion paused briefly, the magic power brewing in his hands temporarily halted.

"It's me," Booster instinctively replied, never dreaming he would meet Colin here!

Even after almost sweeping through the Extreme North, he never thought Colin would appear here, assuming Colin had used the Hidden Crystal to evade the purge, hiding somewhere in the Extreme North!

"You're here, along with the wizard's army... is the battle over?" Colin was also slightly stunned, asking instinctively.

"Yes, we have basically eradicated all the Divine Believers," Booster replied, finally coming to his senses, still somewhat shaken.

Previously, Mill had told them that Colin had once single-handedly eliminated the avatars of the Gold and Molten Rock Lords. At that time, they knew that the wizard before them, who was still just a councilman, likely had formidable power.

However, as the most talented wizard of the Nolan Continent, Booster and others also had their pride, believing that even if their power were temporarily not as strong as Colin's, the gap wouldn't be too large.

But now, facing Colin directly, especially when he was unable to reveal his identity initially, the pressure he felt left him devoid of pride.

This level of power probably isn't much different from his mentor's!

"The Divine Believers have already been completely eradicated... in this case, the lingering remnants of the Divine in the Extreme North should all have perished."

Colin scrutinized Booster before him, activating the World Perception.

"Already perished... there's no remnants of the Divine here?" Booster asked instinctively.

Colin shook his head, under World Perception everything about Booster was normal. His vigilance slightly relaxed, pausing briefly before speaking:

"Previously, a real avatar of the Lord of Winter was entrenched here, but I have resolved it now."

"That's great!" At this moment, Booster had no doubt about Colin's words, the aura Colin had just shown already convinced him.

Thrilled, Booster's first reaction was to return and report, instinctively saying: "I must go back and inform the commander that the Divine remnants have all perished."

After speaking, he nodded slightly to Colin, about to turn and leave.

"Wait," Colin suddenly called out to him.

Perhaps due to concern, but his past experiences dealing with the wizards of the Siya Continent made Colin instinctively worried.

Shelley's promotion must not be disturbed. Furthermore, her identity as a World Elf was not suitable for too many people to know.

Should those outside wizards refuse to believe Booster's words and insist on breaking into the Eye of Blizzard...

"Words alone are not enough," Colin pondered for a moment before speaking, "I'll accompany you."

As he spoke, Colin gently waved his hand, summoning several ice elements enveloped in chilling air.

Even if it was only a temporary departure from the Eye of Blizzard, merely going outside the Blizzard Wall, necessary precautions had to be in place.

"Alright." Booster was slightly taken aback, then smiled and nodded.

In fact, Booster felt grateful to Colin.

The real avatar of the Lord of Winter was entrenched here, and though Colin spoke lightly of it, any real avatar of the Divine is not easy to deal with.

If it weren't for Colin, they as wizards from the Nolan Continent would be the first to face the Divine avatars given the current situation.

By then, casualties would be inevitable.

However, Booster didn't know that Colin actually felt grateful to him as well.

If it weren't for Booster gifting the Hidden Crystal, sneaking in wouldn't have gone so smoothly.
