"Are you Wu Xu?" The female police officer walked over, looking at Wu Xu with a stern face.

Wu Xu smiled and nodded, watching the female officer.

Surprisingly, this female police officer was pretty attractive; fair skin, big eyes with a somewhat juvenile look, and also not lacking in the chest department, perky and upright with a classic S-figure! A juvenile-faced girl with a big chest!!

Wu Xu's gaze flashed, but the female officer caught it and her eyebrows immediately furrowed with a hint of disgust in her eyes.

Wu Xu silently cursed himself; this was not a good first impression with the police, which meant trouble.

"Alright then, come with me, I want to understand a situation," the female officer said and took Wu Xu to a small room, where she pulled out a notebook, looked at Wu Xu with a serious expression and asked, "You know Shi Miao, right?".

"Shi Miao?" Wu Xu was taken aback, then remembered the gloomy look he'd seen on Shi Miao's face yesterday. Could it be that the guy really had an accident? Keeping his composure, he smiled subtly: "Of course, we are both from the city sports center, he's like my senior."

"Did you two have any conflicts yesterday?" The female officer's eyes were sharp as if trying to see through Wu Xu.

Wu Xu calmly replied, "There was something, yet there wasn't."

The female officer frowned and pressed on, "Don't be evasive. Right now, Shi Miao is lying in the hospital because of a car accident, and I suspect it was you who did it. Do you admit it or not?"

Wu Xu paused for a moment and then said, "Miss, did you just graduate from the police academy?"

"How did you... argh! None of your business!" The female officer exploded with anger.

"No wonder. I can understand this time, but I hope next time you'll be more mature when handling cases. Don't take reasons like curses so seriously, or you'll be the laughingstock – which won't be cool."

"You!"

"I have other matters to attend to. If you don't have solid evidence against me, please don't bother me, or I reserve the right to file a complaint," Wu Xu said and turned to leave.

"You! Bastard, we shall see," the female officer was fuming with rage.

"Are you okay, Xu?"

The loud argument from inside the room could be clearly heard by everyone outside; Coach Chen was somewhat concerned.

"It's nothing. Just being asked a few questions," Wu Xu replied with a smile and then curiously asked, "Coach Chen, did Shi Miao really have a car accident?"

Coach Chen's face turned grim: "I must've been blind to judge him wrongly. That scoundrel left early yesterday, ignoring the other staff of the sports center, went off on his own and ended up in a car accident. Although it's nothing serious, he has to be hospitalized for a few months. I can't believe he accused you of cursing him and reported it to the police."

Wu Xu was speechless; it turned out Shi Miao had taken his words from yesterday seriously!
