The Autocraft Alchemist

Whelp, I never wanted to be one of those authors, but here we are. I've been finding it harder to write each month and ended up burning through all of my backlog to get book 1 done and out the door.

I was hoping that taking a small break and having fun with some side stories would help. Only I've been struggling with hitting the keyboard. I think it's due to a few things, stress in real life, impostor syndrome, worrying if readers are going to enjoy what I've written. Some tough feedback, some of it fair while some not. I'll need to work on being thicker skinned.

The story is... in an okay place I feel. It does need a lot of polish, probably even more on the earlier chapters. My working title for this story was AlchemSlice. Which was the initial goal. A brief slice of life like look at a MC finding a powerful skill and seeing the ripples it could create. How the world changed due to him interacting with it. While it could end where it is, there is also more to tell.

What is next? I can't answer that. I'd like to think that after taking some time off I'll be able to get back into writing. This time with a mind on finding a more sustainable pace. Sprinting out of the gate like I did back in April didn't do myself any favors.
