From his perspective, the diamond was transparent, allowing him to see through it. However, those standing opposite him would perceive only a translucent wall made of diamonds.

BOOM! An attack slammed into the wall, leaving only smoke marks. Karsha, who had channeled about 40% of his mana, stood with his mouth wide open, gazing at the wall in awe. The attack he had used was powerful enough to kill a tier 6 monster, yet the wall stood tall and unmoving. It was bizarre.
