Besides Deng Yin, the Giant Wood God also sent talismanic edicts to all renowned Sword Immortals in the world, commanding their allegiance.

Firstly, it was aimed at the three major sects: Emei, Kunlun, and Wudang.

The one sent to the Emei Sect to deliver the decree was Master Baiyun, whose soul had scattered during a swordfight at Jiuhua Mountain but was revived by the Giant Wood God, regaining his immortal body. Now, he was dispatched to recruit Emei Sect.

Emei Sect's Li Yingqiong did not consult with Qi Shuming and Xun Lanyin; she refused outright, stating that the Emei Sect cultivates the "Nine Heavens Mysterious Scripture." Qi Shuming received the Douluo True Decree from the Emperor Mansion, and the entire sect venerates the Heaven Talisman and worships the Heavenly God. They would never switch their faith.

Moreover, he obtained the Taiqing One Qi Divine Talisman to suppress the array's core. They assume that with this Immortal Array, they can protect the entire mountain. After finishing his words, he asked the attending immortals, "Does any immortal have a good strategy to break the array?"

Originally, he had cultivated his Yang God, ready for ascension, but was held back by his family, staying in the human world, waiting for them to cultivate and ascend together.
