The Ancestor of All Demons

If Giant Wood God merely calls upon those he had sent to Changle World, he would already be treading in a gray area, where anything could happen.

After all, these people were enlightened by him, with the greatest karmic ties because of their ascension to Changle Heaven, even stronger than the connections between the Green Emperor and these believers. Moreover, these people hold no roles within the Immortal Realm of Changle Heaven, so it barely passed muster.

However, directly summoning the gods of Changle Heavenly Realm to this world is quite unjustifiable.

Haotian's law prohibits Heavenly Gods from engaging in romance and having offspring, lest the second generation of gods and immortals monopolize the Immortal Realm, turning it into a realm dominated by family clans, ultimately forming a situation of noble family monopolies.

In such a scenario, there would be no need for cultivators from the Lower Realm to ascend, and ascension pathways might even be repelled, blocked, and sealed.

The Three Realms would become a haven for the gods of the Immortal Realm, a new "species," viewing all other beings as inferior entities, existing to enslave the myriad worlds.

This action contravenes the Dao of Heaven, "diminish surplus to fill deficiency," "the Heavenly Dao resembles a circle, the circulation of Heaven."

For it becomes "diminish singularity to serve surplus," the path of man.

In enlarged time and space, in a vast enough world, the path of man cannot persist long, and sooner or later it must collapse!

The Heavenly God presides over the Heavenly Dao, as the Father God of the Myriad Worlds, absolutely won't allow such a situation to occur, not even the Purple Star Emperor can avoid the Heavenly Dao's cycle, needing rotation.

In fact, given the Purple Star Emperor's own strength and the immense power he wields, he could entirely avoid rotation, but with Haotian's law intact, he can only descend to the Mortal World, undergo tribulations of reincarnation, accumulate significant virtues, then return to be the vice-lord of the Three Realms.

As the son of the Green Emperor, the Giant Wood God is a blemish in the Green Emperor's divine career. The Green Emperor has attempted earnestly to grant him an official status, yet with the Heavenly God enduring, Haotian's law is unbreakable, leaving the Green Emperor powerless, ultimately banishing him to the Lower Realm, stripping away all his divine roles.

Theoretically, Giant Wood God has no qualification to summon Heavenly Gods to the Lower Realm, neither through the Heaven Talisman nor the Green Emperor Talisman.

Yet as Green Emperor's son, all immortals under the Green Emperor Talisman yield face to him.

The first ones he called were Qingxuan and Yellow Talisman Child.

They arrived first to understand the situation, questioning his intentions.

Giant Wood God replied, "I intend to convert all beings in this world to disciples of the Green Emperor, embellishing and glorifying my father."

His statement wasn't mere bluff, as the Western Amitabha Buddha, also known as Infinite Light Buddha, isn't called such without reason, the congregation of beings connecting with it can see a ray of light, possessing infinite light, due to numerous connections with beings. Similarly, Giant Wood God's efforts to increase his father's followers indeed can expand merit and divine brilliance.

Yellow Talisman Child praised, "The emperor's son having such filial devotion is naturally commendable..."

Qingxuan nearby hesitated to speak.

Giant Wood God inevitably questioned the duo, "In your opinion, will father eventually incorporate this world into Changle World, or will he appoint a main god here to govern and nurture?"

Yellow Talisman Child said nothing, turning to look at Qingxuan, who lightly sighed.

After much hesitation, Qingxuan finally disclosed a harsh truth to Giant Wood God: even if this world ultimately merges into Changle World, he won't be able to return to the Spiritual Space Immortal Realm or Changle World. He will be exiled to other worlds. If the two realms don't merge, even a god sent by Green Emperor will preside here, but won't choose him...

Upon hearing this, Giant Wood God was initially shocked, refusing to believe it, then erupted in rage.

"Why? Why! Why can't I? These pitiful ants can, but I cannot?!"

He angrily turned, swinging his sleeves, directly shattering half of the Divine Altar, smashing the incense burner, banners, and other items into fragments, flying apart.

If it was anyone else as the Liturgy Master, daring such vandalism of the Divine Altar, desecrating beliefs, punishment would be inevitable.

However, he is the Green Emperor's son, with the Green Emperor not pursuing, no one will hold him accountable.

"Damn Haotian's law! Because of this nonsense Haotian's law, I've drifted through the myriad worlds since birth, barely reaching Heaven, in a flash, banished here again! Why do I deserve these suffering tribulations? Just because I'm my father's son? What's wrong with being my father's son?"

He furiously claimed, "What is Haotian anyway? To be so obstinate and arrogant! To dare construct this to enslave gods? Not fearing gods revolting against him, banishing him to mortal dust, exiling across heavens, letting him taste..."

Yellow Talisman Child's face turned pale with fright, while Qingxuan listened as his speech grew increasingly outrageous, hurriedly urging him to silence.

"Do you know, this Haotian's law was endorsed jointly by the Three Pure Ones and Four Imperial, Five Directions and Five Elders after the universe's creation."

"Even my father supports this?" Giant Wood God could not believe it. His time in Heaven was short, and he hadn't served as a divine official there, so he didn't know much. Seeing Qingxuan nod, he said angrily, "My father supported it then, but surely he doesn't now! With such great merit and divine skills, he should unite the other gods and drive that little Haotian down, letting my father become the Main God of the Three Realms..."

Qingxuan and Yellow Talisman Child exchanged a look, both feeling that this emperor's son had spent too much time in the Lower Realm and grown wild at heart.

The idea of dethroning the Heavenly God and taking turns on the throne wasn't impossible to say, but it was laughable once spoken, revealing a total lack of understanding of why Haotian sat in that position. Anyone truly knowledgeable about the Immortal Realm wouldn't utter such words; only wild rogue gods from the Lower Realm would speak so carelessly.

Currently, the Green Emperor's goal was to take charge of the North Pole universe's center, becoming the Lord of Stars and standard of all techniques... He hadn't even considered vying for Haotian's position.

After Pangu opened the sky and earth, Chaos split into two; Pure Qi rose to form Heaven, from which the Heavenly God was born, and Dull Energy descended to form the Earth, from which Houtu Great God was born. Yet, everything derived from Taixu; they, being born of Chaos, are the parents of the Heavenly and Myriad Worlds. You think replacing them is straightforward?

From the perspective of realms, sitting over Heavenly Dao, all world operations revolve within Heavenly Dao, formed of it, moving and acting accordingly. Such a high realm, such powerful mana...

But they couldn't rebuke the furious Giant Wood God in person. The Green Emperor's son was indeed discontent, having been suppressed for thousands of years, wandering through multiple worlds, needing to vent somehow.

"Actually, if you must return to Heaven, there is a way."

Giant Wood God brightened up: "What way?"

"Soldier Disintegration and Rebirth, sealing memories, and re-cultivating the Immortal Path by your strength."

Giant Wood God frowned immediately upon hearing this: "Does that mean all my suffering over millions of years was in vain?"

Qingxuan persuaded him: "You are the Heavenly Venerate's son. Even if he doesn't intervene, even if other gods ignore it, cultivators in the Lower Realm, discovering your roots, would see you differently. They wouldn't endure great hardships for a touch of immortal fate like others. With the foundation you've built over past times, you'd certainly reach the Heavenly Immortal stage in no more than a hundred years..."

Giant Wood God would not agree, not even considering it before decisively rejecting it.

Not to mention his pride, sealing memories and reincarnating would mean veering off path without guidance. Even if he joined an Immortal Sect later, he'd still have to recognize someone else as a master, bow to others, implying that others' methods could never match the Green Emperor's techniques. Giant Wood God turned from talks of returning to Heaven to matters of dealing with Deng Yin.

This issue had no problems. Taiyi Rescuer of Suffering Heavenly Venerate specialized in breaking Blood Lake Hell and all sorts of suffering, also aptly dealing with demons like Deng Yin.

Although Giant Wood God had no clergy position, such catastrophic calamity occurred in the Lower Realm, and it was only right for the gods under the Green Emperor to descend for demon suppression.

Giant Wood God voiced his worries again: "There's an Evil Dragon in this world, not long ago leading an entire mountain to ascend to Spiritual Space Immortal Realm, intending to escort a nation of misfits for collective Ascension. I can't calculate his movements or outcome, fearing he's creating a diversion, planning a surprise return while I'm battling the Blood Demon."

Qingxuan and Yellow Talisman Child were divine officials of Changle Heaven, not Spiritual Space Immortal Realm's, but Miao Yan Palace resided there. They could inquire through divine officials from Green Emperor Mansion in Miao Yan Palace.

After some days, they returned to tell Giant Wood God they had heard of this matter. A Lower Realm immortal aimed to storm the Spiritual Space Immortal Realm with an entire mountain, only to coincide with the Heavenly Gods return to Taixu Immortal Mansion, leaving a talismanic edict for the gods to obliterate.

Giant Wood God listened, heart pounding: "He really plans to ascend the Immortal Realm that way? Insane! Insane! Completely mad!"

Then he delighted: "Then he will surely turn to ashes. Even if undying and unending, he will be captured by the Divine Generals, possibly making a trip to the Scraping Immortal Platform, finally banished to the Eighteen Layers of Hell, never to reincarnate for eternity!"

Convinced of Shi Feiyang's doom, he truly set about countering Deng Yin, restoring the altar with increased scale, preparing to summon all eighty-one Divine Kings under the Green Emperor, along with a total of thirty-six or thirty-seven thousand divine soldiers, determined to eradicate the Blood Demons entirely!

Orchestrating such a grand scale wasn't easy, especially without a formal clergy position, necessitating use of 'extra-legal' methods.

Moreover, the old demons of West Kunlun presented quite the challenge, each one formidable. Regular Heavenly Gods' descendents couldn't manage; original forms must descend, which brought further regulatory constraints.

But before he could finish, news came of Shi Feiyang's return from Heaven, indicating he suffered heavy losses, with ten out of nine of his followers decimated by Heavenly Soldiers and Generals.

Yet, the fact Shi Feiyang himself was not captured by the Heavenly Generals and sent to the Scraping Immortal Platform puzzled him–or should it have been the Scraping Dragon Platform?

Yellow Talisman Child got information from Divine Lord Zhang in the Cave of Clear Yang Valley, Envoy of Thunder Department's Swift Messenger, who participated in the attack on Shi Feiyang, also holding the Taiyi Swift Messenger position, responsible for conveying special documents.

Yellow Talisman Child relayed the events to Giant Wood God, who listened, growing angry: "Defying heavenly order! Attacking the Heavenly Court! This is outrageous! Such a grave crime, far more severe than mine! Why weren't more Heavenly Gods dispatched to capture him, grind his bones to dust, refine his soul, and banish him to the Underworld! Why is it that the Heavenly God grants him leniency beyond the law? Could he be the bastard child of the old Haotian?"

Yellow Talisman Child quickly restrained him: "The laws of Haotian only bind gods above, not cultivators below."

"Why not? As soon as one becomes a Heavenly God, they're bound by the laws of this damn Haotian. What's the point of being a god then? Haotian's hilarity!
