The Ancestor of All Demons

Old Man Shi Pi and Fire Spirit God did not expect Princess of Stone God and Deng Yin's ambitions to be so great.

The couple previously said they wanted to demonize the world, transforming the entire world into the Demon Realm, eliminating the need for ascension to other realms. Instead, people from other realms would ascend here in the future.

Shi Pi and his companion were not interested in this and believed their chances of success were slim.

To transform this world into the Demon Realm, all living beings in this world must be turned into demons.

How to turn them into demons? Kill them all... first, they become ghosts, then demons!

It's equivalent to dematerializing all living beings and using the blood flowing from them to create a Great Blood Sea, dematerializing the entire world.

In their view, it's as if the entire world is "ascended" from the Human Realm to Heaven, thus unaffected by the End of Dharma Era.

Aura exhaustion, revival, eruption, and decline form Spiritual Energy tides, some large, some small.

The maximum extent of exhaustion reaches Heaven, causing all heavenly deities and Buddhas to fall, but that is when the rebirth of the entire world begins.

Most times, aura exhaustion is limited to between human realms' clarity and impurity. Sometimes the "exhaustion line" rises to part of Heaven, and at times cannot encompass the human world. Even during the End of Dharma Era, a portion of Spiritual Energy can be preserved in the human world, only downgrading from "high martial" to "low martial," allowing many immortals, demons, and various fierce beasts to persist. They typically choose to open grotto heavens or find places where dragon veins and Spiritual Energy converge to hide until Spiritual Energy revives before they re-emerge.

The extent of Spiritual Energy's exhaustion this time is unknown, but from future perspectives, it seems dire; in a century, not a single refined monster can be found. All Heavenly Masters and monks blend into the masses, indicating a serious level, where not a trace of Spiritual Energy is left.

However, it most likely won't exhaust all the way to Heaven. The Demon Realm is somewhat similar to Heaven; both primarily focus on divine souls. Ordinary primordial souls ascending as Heavenly Immortals and kind-hearted multiple lifetimes are specially received into Heaven. Essentially, there is no difference from ghost souls; it's merely nurtured by heaven and earth, toughening over centuries and looking indistinguishable from ordinary people.

Heavenly Immortals ascend with the Yang God carrying purified Primordial Qi, gathering into forms, scattering into Qi, far superior to ghost souls.

Golden Immortals achieve Body Ascension, sublimating their bodies, uniting humans, heaven, and all things, reaching a higher realm.

The Demon Realm also focuses on soul bodies, using condensed purified blood Qi to form bodies, enabling flight and transformation, thus considered one of the Heavens.

Deng Yin intends to kill all living beings in this world before the End of Dharma Era arrives and complete the final blood sea sacrifice, which Old Man Shi Pi thinks is beyond his capability. Even with himself and Fire Spirit God added, it's still impossible!

From Old Man Shi Pi's perspective, Shi Feiyang likely gathers immortals on the Outer Heaven Divine Mountain to withstand the heavenly tribulation, creating a Cave Heaven World for everyone to hide in, leaving Central Earth to nature. Hence, he isn't Deng Yin's most direct opponent.

Deng Yin's real opponent is Xin Ru Nun, who has just made a great vow to transform this world into a Buddha Country Pure Land!

According to him, Xin Ru Nun already possesses two Buddhist treasures: the Seven Treasures Golden Banner and the Conch Leaf Talisman. He's experienced the power of the Seven Treasures Golden Banner; once Buddha's Light Shines Everywhere, as the Asura Sect Hierarch himself, his capable powers diminish drastically, akin to entering the End of Dharma Era prematurely, a state of weakness he wants to avoid again.

He believes Deng Yin and his group can't triumph over Xin Ru Nun wielding two Buddhist treasures, thus he harbors hesitations.

But at this moment, observing what Deng Yin and Princess of Stone God mentioned, they seemingly reached some undisclosed agreement with Xin Ru Nun?

If these two major forces join hands, truly they would be unparalleled, Old Man Shi Pi cannot imagine anyone stopping them, even Shi Feiyang, with the addition of those insignificant bunch on the Outer Heaven Divine Mountain, still wouldn't suffice!

From Old Man Shi Pi's personal viewpoint, clearly following Deng Yin is a better path. With Shi Feiyang, the only assistance is surviving the present heavenly tribulation, and wishing to ascend from the Mysterious Sect requires abandoning demon cultivation, unable to ascend, at most, languishing in a future Small Cave Heaven World, waiting for the Spiritual Energy revival.

Old Man Shi Pi and Fire Spirit God exchange glances; simultaneously they brush the horsetail whisk, and a burst of Demon Light emerges from the Golden Lotus Dharma Seat covering them. With just a flicker, they vanish.

After the two left, Deng Yin and the Princess of Stone God exchanged a smile, both aware that Old Man Shipi was swayed!

Only those from the Demon Cult truly understand others from the Demon Cult. They know what Old Man Shipi cares about most, and the conditions they can offer, including Shi Feiyang, are unmatched by anyone else. Even if Master Zun Sheng were reincarnated, he still couldn't pull Old Man Shipi away from the Demon Path.

Now that Old Man Shipi was in the Underground Demon Palace, he was indeed tempted. He too felt Deng Yin's grand objective was more magnificent and suited him better.

Old Man Shipi has cultivated the Asura Great Technique for over a thousand years, reaching its peak. His ultimate position was to be an Asura King, ascending from the Asura Path to the Demon Realm.

In Buddhism, Asura is equivalent to the heavenly beings, neither inferior nor superior, as originally counted within the Heavenly Dao.

Asuras exist across all realms; males are hideous and fierce, cruel, and bloodthirsty, while females are beautiful as flowers. They frequently attack worlds where heavenly beings dwell, causing rivers of blood in the Heavenly Dao.

Buddhist scriptures record that when heavenly beings were defeated by Asuras, they had to seek help from the Buddha.

Yet becoming an Asura is not difficult, but becoming a Great Asura King is extremely challenging.

Old Man Shipi has his ambitions, to ascend only if he can become the best and strongest; otherwise, he prefers not to ascend. For the Asuras are all ferocious and cruel; lacking strength means being preyed upon, risking being torn to shreds on the very first day!

However, pursuing the highest level of Asura King is fraught with numerous tribulations. His master in the Demon Realm used Yin Demon to affect his mind, causing confusion, which led him to seek breakthroughs in Buddhist Law...

Overall, his journey has been full of obstacles. Whether practicing Buddhism or Daoism, they were inferior, yet the vision depicted by Deng Yin was what he most desired! It even reawakened his long-dormant ambition!

Joining forces with Deng Yin to demonize this world, and then occupying the West Sea, which would be named the Asura Sea. The sea would be filled with numerous Asura tribes, building an Asura Palace, dwelling there forever...

This world is truly wondrous, and of course, Old Man Shipi desires it deeply. What he must consider is whether it can truly be realized. If it's not feasible, it would be another illusion, and all efforts would turn futile!

Old Man Shipi inquired if the Fire Spirit God thought this plan could succeed, to which the Fire Spirit God responded hesitantly: "Weren't we preparing to seek refuge at Outer Heaven Divine Mountain with Master Yuan Yang?"

"We haven't settled anything with him!" Old Man Shipi responded impatiently. "We assisted him when Chi You marched south to Central Plains; strictly speaking, we have done him a favor. If the Asura Blood Sea succeeds, we'd become Asura Kings, far better than going to Outer Heaven Divine Mountain!"

The Fire Spirit God frowned, stroking his beard, still troubled: "I see this plan as unlikely to succeed. There are many capable individuals under heaven; how could they allow the world to suffer devastation?"

"Others are not to be feared." Old Man Shipi pondered, "Really, only Master Yuan Yang and the two at the East Sea's end are challenging."

"What about Xin Ruyu?"

"From their words, it seems they've reached some understanding with Xin Ruyu."

"That shrew is difficult to deal with; a thousand years ago, she wielded her sword across the world, defying all, respecting none. Now she's emerged after years of silence intent on manifesting enlightenment... I doubt Deng Yin can contend with her."

"This time is different. This time Deng Yin has fully cultivated the 'Blood God Scripture,' and I see Xin Ruyu claiming to establish a Buddha Country Pure Land, yet her essence has entered the Demon Path. Even if she succeeds, it would be a Devil Country, fundamentally aligned with us. She possesses the Seven Treasures Golden Banner and Conch Leaf Talisman.

If they can suppress Shi Feiyang's Heavenly Treasure Mirror, the rest are not a concern. Together with Deng Yin, we can sweep them away like autumn leaves, then select worthy ones to periodically send into the Asura Path, turning them into our Asura clan!"
