The Adventures of an Overpowered Knight in Another World

Chapter 90- Sieging the City (3)

The other high ranking knights like Grey nodded, coming to the same conclusion after comparing the two events they witnessed.

"Hehe, you are quite honest" Zerina slapped Bob's shoulder "This makes me glad, the city we chose to live in is like heaven compared to this place".

"I agree, Lord Raymond and Lord Reinhardt are true nobles, loved and caredfor by their citizens. I cannot imagine people of the duke's territory suffering any injustice as long as they are alive".

"Hmm, it appears that you respect your lord quite a lot".

"Of course, you won't find a single knight or recruit in the order who does not respect the Commander from the bottom of their heart. If not for him, we would not be alive right now, living the life we are living at this moment".

In the eyes of the knights, Zerina could see nothing but respect and pride for Reinhardt.

"He is a person worthy of respect. Someone who saved our village, a true 'Haluka'" Eldrin, the son of the former chief of elves, added.

Elina beside him, nodded, a faint blush on her cheek.

"They are here!"

At this moment, the other knights and demi humans who went on to check the other areas of the slave market returned back.

"We have finished observing the entire area. Almost all of the slaves, except for those currently being sold on the stage, are concentrated near the large tent. That place is where they store the slaves. Our clansmen are also there".

"Good," Zerina nodded "Then we will attack as soon as we are given the signal. Rescue the ones being oppressed and kill the others. Raze the place to the ground".

The knights and the demi humans nodded in excitement. Fortunately for them, they did not have to wait for long.

BOOM… as soon as the first explosion noise rang out, they sprang into action.

"That's our cue. Let's go".

Zerina was the first to rush out. Her speed, owing to being from the panther trib,e was extremely fast. Even the high ranking knights like Bob and Grey only saw a black streak shooting towards the enemies.

RAWR… her fingernails turned into sharp claws, and she issued a primal roar that afflicted fear onto others.

SLASH… SPURT…

With every slash and pounce, a head would roll on the ground. Zerina as the chief of the demi humans was a powerful fighter, but the elites she brought with her were also something.

From a distance, Eldrin and the other elves provided support. Dwarves used their maces to pound the earth to their desire. All the various demi human elites showed the power of their race and the skill they had been honing all this time.

The scene was such an eye opener that the knights of the Temple of Light were stunned for a good while.

"They are strong. Frankly, I don't want them as our enemies".

"Right, we cannot let them show us up. All knights, follow me. Show the enemies the strength of the Order of the Temple of Light."

Led by Bob and Grey, the knights also joined the fray.

"Enemy attack!!" By now, the underground slave market was already in chaos. Guards and knights hired by Baron Chetak and other High Ranking offcials present inside the slave market tried to repel the enemy back.

However, in front of the elites personally cultivated by Reinhardt and the demi human warriors who had fought the demons and their forces their entire lives, these measly guards might as well be a kid trying to imitate a knight.

They barely stood a chance.

In just a matter of seconds, all the guards placed in the underground slave market were killed.

"Ahh, save me!!"

"I'm the chief of the Iron factory. If you spare my life, I'll give you as much money as you want" the wrongdoers begged.

"Shut up, say another word from your mouth and there will be another hole in your body" Zerina threatened. She then glanced at Bob and asked in a bad mood.

"Do we really need to keep these trash alive? Considering the gravity of their sins, they should be killed on the spot".

The former smiled helplessly and explained "That may be true; however, we are a knight order meant to protect the citizens of the kingdom after all. Even if the situation couldn't be helped, we cannot just massacre them indiscriminately. There are laws and rules in our kingdom for that".

Although Zerina was dissatisfied with leaving these criminals with their lives intact, she had nothing else to say after that.

"Alright then, we are almost done with our goal here. Let's bring back these rescued people back up and join with the others".

The situation both at the mansion of Baron Chetak and the underground slave market was going smoothly. As for the group that was led by Reinhardt himself, they had already defeated hundreds of knights from the Tinker Knight order that came at them.

Debris and cracked earth spread for as far as the eye could see. Knights, fully decked in their gears, lay on the ground, bloodied and injured. Buildings collapsed, smoke billowing, and civilians ran everywhere in panic.

Well, after that display of strength, it was only natural for them to be afraid, after all, a man who could easily bring down the northern gate along with the rampart, cannot be considered your normal human.

"So this is the power of a level 10 huh? Y-You monster, the knight who seemed to be the Commander of the enemy knight order fell to the ground".

"We… We won???"

"Just like this?!"

"That human is strong!!"

"He is our commander after all" the new recruits following behind Reinhardt couldn't help but gasp in surprise.

The strength to bring down the rampart and defeat hundreds of knights all by himself, this was their first time witnessing his legendary side, which they had only ever heard in stories and books.

.

.

Rewinding time back, right before Karina and the others attacked the enemy's stronghold. Reinhardt, followed by dozens of squires and new recruits, slowly rode towards the city gate.
