"Everyone, be on your A game. The creature in front of us is a high ranking demon".
As soon as he said that, the creature thumped the ground with its tentacles and threw out an acidic blob of liquid.
Everyone dodged it and surrounded the demon.
"What's the plan?" Vangeance questioned.
Silvia thought for a while, her eyes looking at the little girl who had fainted from the shock, and commanded.
"Buy me some time. Delicia, with me, we need to help her mother before the debris crushes her".
The former knight and the two girls immediately rushed towards the building behind the demon, ignoring it.
The Darkmaw attacked, extending its razor sharp tongue. However, before the tongue could reach anywhere near the girls, a knight with ash grey hair jumped in between and received the blow.
"[Heroic Shield]" A shield of light energy formed around him and took the blow.
Crack… the power of a high ranking demon was called a high rank for a reason. The skill was able to stop the attack only for a few seconds before it collapsed, blowing the knight away.
