The Adeptus Custodes(DC)

Chapter 55: The Emperor's And Justinian's Shared Project.

Following Justinian enhancing himself with the properties of Nth Metal, he would be many times harder to kill. Not only were his bones made of an Alloy of Nth Metal and Auramite, but his Divine Nature was enhancing the effects of the metal.

He did wonder what would happen in a couple of years as the living metal in his bones would grow as he did. Even now, he could feel the magical effect flowing through him. It did make him smile and he made sure to enhance every member of his Honor Guard.

Much like himself and his ladies, he mixed the metal with the metal of their power armor which was bound to their souls. That way every one of them had a unique blend of metals depending on how their strength gains went.

Once he finished the procedure for all of his Honor Guards they all once again gathered inside his Throne Room. All 50 of his Honor Guard stood as he addressed them.

"With this, I hope I have given you all a bit more power. So make use of it well because we have enough war for a lifetime."

As he sat himself down in his Throne Room, his Psychic Presence once again enveloped almost the entire Galaxy. The strength of his mind was so intense, that if any Psychic tried to read his mind without his permission, their minds would burn.

The only reason that had not happened to Raven was that he allowed her. He smiled to himself as he now had at least part of the puzzle to deal with Trigon in the future. As long as he could have Raven use her talent against Trigon his future would be much simpler.

Of course, killing Trigon himself with his power would be an achievement of legend. Now that he was thinking about it, he really hadn't encountered any Demons in his time. Then again, he hadn't had any contact with Hell, and for a damn good reason.

DC was dangerous enough for him to cause trouble against the Angels. Demons he would fight any day, Angels on the other hand, he would have to be one of the biggest fools to antagonize them for any reason.

For now, Justinian began to focus on the state of his fleets, and from what he could see all 36 of them were locked in combat. The Iron Warriors and Dark Angels after conquering Rann and Thanagar had moved on to other Star Systems in the Segmentum.

The other 34 had found other habitable worlds, and in some cases managed successful peaceful compliance. Other times, they had followed the law of subjugation. After culling a large portion of the population, they would clone a replacement population without any of the issues of betrayal.

He nodded to himself before addressing his guards.

"The Crusade is progressing smoothly. I want Mars to begin to prepare the Systems that are being brought into compliance for colonization. Make use of Temporal Fields to reduce the time for successful colonies to be set up. Soundwave, get that order out."

That was the magical thing of Time Magic, what would take decades in real time could be reduced to a short few years through Time Dilation Fields. It would allow his Imperium to grow in population as in the galactic field, more people were better.

As Soundwave got the proper branches of the Administratum ready to prepare new colonies, he relaxed into his throne. Everything now, was up to his Fleets so and his Honor Guard could relax.

"If anyone wants to go back to rest, you may do so. Go back to your families, as we have little need to manage every single aspect of things. If you will excuse me, I am leaving."

He whistled causing his Predakons to gather around him in their massive sizes. Remnosh, Lauralina, Magna, Leona, and Sanguinia all teleported away back to their living quarters.

The same thing happened to the rest of the Honor Guard once again clearing out his Throne Room. If Justinian was being honest, sitting all day on the Crystal Throne while cool was boring.

He had better things to do than to sit on his throne.

---

Inside his living quarters, his Predakons shrunk down to the size of small dogs as they were truly gigantic creatures. Once he was back here, Justinian began to move through his living quarters.

He had come here because he had moved his personal laboratory to where he lived. That way no one could mess with the dangerous monsters he cooked up. Now that he had Demon blood to work with that was what was taking his mind.

Remnosh, Lauralina, Magma, Leona, and Sanguinia walked behind him as he teleported them into his laboratory in a separate Dimension. The inside of his laboratory was a place of nightmares, dark magic, and science gone too far.

In large vats of embryonic fluid, monsters of all kinds floated in suspended animation. They were works in progress that had not reached full maturity to be released into the wilds of different planets.

A few of these things could cause extinction-level events because of the absolute danger they represent. As they were walking, Justinian stopped at a particular tank where a large curled-up black and crimson serpent gestated.

He tapped at the keypad attached to it and increased the dosage of different potions and growth hormones. Several runes on the pod activated as they constantly healed and revitalized the snake as it grew.

"This one will be good in a few more weeks."

Leona nodded as she looked at the infant serpent.

"What does that one do?"

"It's an infant Void Serpent, at its full size it will be long enough to wrap around a Solar System. That is if my work is as I intend."

Remnosh did have a question.

"Do you have a reason to make it?"

He shook his head.

"Because this is my hobby. Let's ignore my work in progress and work on this."

He brought out a vial of blood he took from Raven.

He needed to know more about the weaknesses of Demons because the forces of Hell were always a problem. Plus, if he could create his loyal Demon to contain some of Trigon's power, it would be a useful thing.

"Soundwave, prepare my lab."

The gestation pods began to move as from the floor rose up massive esoteric machines where Justinian created his more dangerous creatures. Once he had these, he placed the vial inside one of the machines to begin the testing phase.

As that began, Remnosh had a question.

"So are you going to create a bloodthirsty monster or a sentient thing?"

Now that he thought about it, his first intention was to create a Demon to use as a weapon. He could make something even better as he looked at his arm.

"Maybe I can make someone containing not just Trigon's power, but my own. I have a Magic Genelock on myself to prevent cloning, but that is only for others. I could create one of the most powerful creatures ever. Let's see what my genius can cook up, shall we."

---

While Justinian and his wives began to experiment on the Demon blood they had, the Segmentum Solar Crusade began progressing. The Administratum ordered any now compliant systems to be terraformed if they had been too damaged in the fighting.

As for those not habitual to normal creatures, the planets were moved to the 'habitable' zone of their stars before they were terraformed through magic. If moving them would cause issues they were left where they were and merely terraformed regardless. Once the planets were ready, they were seeded with life both naturally from Earth and engineered by Poison Ivy.

Through the use of Time Formations, former lifeless husks of planets were covered in dense jungles, forests, grasslands, and other unorthodox plant life. Through the terraforming process, lush environments began to spread through the taken Systems.

On these now habitual worlds, clone colonists were placed to form colonies that would expand into thriving worlds. Once a Planetary Governor was chosen, Time Dilation Fields were set up to allow the colonies time to expand.

As more colonies appeared, more systems were conquered causing more colonies to appear. It was a cycle that continued as more of The Legions were making short work of the Segmentum.

This would be one of many crusades, but while his forces expanded the Imperium, Justinian created something new. He first refined Raven's blood removing as much of the human aspect of it and increasing the Demonic percentage.

He then used that to make a clone of Raven herself with more Demon and less human. This clone was just an experimental subject and it never really lived. He dissected it, used magic to probe it for vulnerabilities, and experimented on its cloned soul.

Once the Clone expired, he used its blood as the base for the next clone which faced the same fate. Each clone he made got stronger and more demonic than the last, but they all never lived.

Once he analyzed the souls, and he gained all he could he placed them into Diamonds which were perfect for storing souls. He continued his cloning of Raven clones until he cloned the 100th one.

This one was almost completely Demonic, but of course, it would not be a clone of Trigon. Just the fact that Raven was a hybrid and the child of Trigon meant no matter how much he purified this blood it would just be a more Demonic Raven.

However, through these clones, he began to create several weapons that he knew would serve him well in his war against Hell. The first was a mutated Life Eater Virus worked on not just the body, but the soul as well.

It was tailor-made to kill Demons and nothing else which he would release into Hell if he ever went to war with it. The second was weapons that would cause incredible agony to any Demon through his own Anti Demonic abillities brought from the Spear Of Destiny.

Of course, Holy Magic to kill Demon would also work, but thanks to Raven Hell had just gained itself a big enemy. Once his research into Raven's genetics came to fruition, the 100th clone he dissected, and like the others disposed of it.

He had reached a genetic end, but further magical modifications could be made. Rather than do that, he refined the blood of the final Clone and he cloned another 10 of them.

These ten had their souls removed, as he wanted to make something like a Primarch. He may have modeled some of his Honor Guard and their sisters after the Primarchs, but he wanted to make his own.

He would use the ten clone souls from the ten Raven Clones, the refined Demonic Blood, and his blood to create his own Primarch. Some may call what he was doing an affront against life, but he didn't care.

In his lab, a new clone was now gestating with a special soul made from the refined souls of ten enhanced Raven Clones. Of course, he made sure to purify and cleanse the souls to make sure they had no resentments.

He didn't want a Doomsday to pop up and to remember all he had done. Blood coming from him and Raven was merged and to make it more symbolic, he added the genetics of his wives. Through all his magical, Psychic, and Esoteric methods the one and only Primarch.

A 'daughter' of his and his five wives, who just like The Emperor Of Mankind could be called that, but it was a weapon before anything else. Inside a gestation pod, a small girl with ash white hair, and horns emerging from her head was growing.

"There we are. Now I am following in the same damned rode as The Emperor."

'Unlike him though, I will try to not be a shit Father. Consider this a test run.'

He didn't say that out loud, but he made this Primarch to see if he still had any goodness left to be a Father. His wives though ignored him as they looked at the cloned child. They were more focused on what Justinian had cooked up. It wasn't their child really, as it just shared a tiny bit of their DNA. As for its relation to Justinian, it only had 35% of Justinian's genetics.

As for them, only around 15% in total, but even then they were curious about what the child would grow into.

(Disclaimer, this Clone does not have all of Justinian's powers or his bloodlines. It only has a small amount of them and it cannot inherit the powers he got from Ddraig or Albion. The P-atreon Chapter coming later tonight.)
