The Abandoned Prince With The Otherworldly Shopping System

Chapter 84: Everything Is Fine

Luke had started walking towards the third passageway in the southwest. The reason he had built this passageway here was that he wanted to construct a very important building here. That was why he had worked on the draft plan for so long.

In fact, he might have spent that much time working on the plans for the entire city.

That was precisely why Luke had to be more careful, because the reason Kevin and Callum had ordered the trees to be cut down and the area cleared in such a short time was to build a Magic Tower here.

Magic Towers were somewhat rare and peculiar structures. The reason for this was that the people residing in these towers, namely the highest-level magicians known as personal apocalypses, lived within them.

One such apocalypse was currently in Great City, Selene, and was Luke's right-hand man.

Kevin Typhoon. One of the top 100 wizards in the world.

This alone meant that Luke could attract countless high-level wizards to his lands simply by using Kevin's name.

A Magic Tower could not be created so easily. It required an enormous amount of magical energy and incredible wealth. Countless magical tools made establishing a Magic Tower practically impossible.

Apart from the Hieras, there were not many people that wealthy.

Many of the Magic Towers currently in the world had been established long ago at the request of the Hieras.

Perhaps one, two were not.

Luke, however, wanted to bring another one under his control.

When his gaze fell on the space, he carefully made the final touches to the blueprint within the terrain and then, without pausing for even a second, placed the blueprint.

Immediately afterwards, an unbelievably high level of magical energy enveloped the Great City, Selene. This was not a comprehensible magical energy. It was not a pressing energy, nor was it a headache-inducing or body-shocking energy.

Simply put, this magical energy was soothing to the heart, refreshing to the soul, and removed fatigue from the body.

It would not be far off to say it was the complete opposite of what normally happens when a magic tower is constructed.

Even though it was slow, once the foundations of the magic tower began to be laid, every soldier and member of the public who occasionally wandered through the wooded area were removed from the region due to the nature of the construction.

Luke clearly wanted no one to be here, and it was quite the right decision.

Whether it was a soothing or oppressive magical energy, such a massive amount would be overwhelming for many people.

Luke's gaze never left the slowly forming magic tower, not even for a second. With each passing second, another stone was added, another layer of magical energy spread out and returned to the tower's foundations.

The process took exactly two hours to complete. It was a process that took longer than building kilometres of walls. This was another way of explaining why a Magic Tower was so difficult to obtain and build, and this was certain.

Nevertheless, the construction was complete. The moment had come to reach the final stage of construction, to rise and transform this place into a space that would house the very best of the best.

Luke had managed to fully activate the magic tower's magic energy with another item he had acquired from the shop panel.

There was a core inside the magic tower. This core was something that would cause the magic energy in the magic tower to be constantly renewed. It was a core worth more than even a kingdom, and this core itself was the very thing that would enable the item Luke would obtain from the shop panel to function.

Luke combined the item with the blueprint that had already been made to use it, and with that, the magic item and the core of the magic tower merged.

With that, the gravity in the area was slightly affected.

Rock fragments began to rise from the surroundings and stopped at a certain distance, as if forming a magical formation.

But that wasn't all. Immediately after the process was complete, the main area, the magic tower itself, broke away from its base and began to rise into the air.

The magic tower levitated the stones, positioning them in the same area, and simultaneously activated each spell, thereby activating the strange formation around the magic tower.

This truly proved that only those who truly deserved to be here could enter, and that no one else could step inside.

Luke hadn't noticed, but Kevin had already arrived at the site. He was naturally astonished by what he saw.

After all, this was no ordinary magic tower. The very existence of such a colossal, unimaginably tall, and renewable magic tower carrying magical energy was nothing short of a fantasy.

But Kevin could see with his own eyes that this fantasy had now manifested itself in the reality before him.

To be perfectly honest, Kevin had even thought he was dreaming, it was that unbelievable.

This magic tower would be known as 'Akshan' in the history books.

"It's all yours," Luke had said, and then, without even turning back for a second, he had walked past Kevin and left.

Kevin immediately began spreading the news. Within a week, news of the creation of a tower of magic beyond perfection, surpassing even the highest level in the Hiera Empire, had spread far and wide.

Luke finally managed to receive a letter from Pope Saint Leonardo Marcelo:

[Dear Saint Luke,

I am eternally grateful for your kind letter and your concern for me and Aphelios. Everything you have heard is true; the Holy Empire has suffered great damage, but there is no need for you to worry. We have already succeeded in developing a drug that will reduce the possibility of brainwashing and bewitchment in the East. On top of that, the blessings of our precious goddess Nyx have been raining down on us for several weeks now.

In short, we are fine, we are safe, both I, Aphelios, and the rest of the empire are in good shape. If we ever need help, we will, of course, ask the children of the Chaos-Born, the Hieras, for assistance, but I must emphasise that there is no trouble at present.

Once we have everything properly organised, we will reclaim the continent directly and do our utmost to find the perpetrator of this crime, I swear to you.

PS: Congratulations on your marriage. I am proud to inform you that we have also declared the young lady Zoey a Saintess within the Holy Empire. I hope you two will have a happy life.

I wish and pray that the light of the Goddess's night be upon you.

With love,

Pope Leonardo Marcelo]

There was no need for Luke to describe how happy he was when he received this letter. It was such good news that it could make one's head spin.

After a week of tension, Cilla saw a smile on Luke's face and was delighted. Luke had been under immense stress. He hadn't jumped on the back of the Ancient Dragon Shenhal and gone to the Holy Empire, simply because others told him not to go, because he had responsibilities.

Now, however, he had learned that there was no reason for this, and that Luke would be the first to know if the teleportation functions failed when the Holy Empire was in danger. After all, this was one of the two places closest to the eastern continent.

The eastern and northern regions of the Hiera Continent.

Along with this, Luke's energy seemed to have fully returned to his body.

"Elsa!" Luke shouted.

At that moment, the study door opened, and Elsa, who was keeping watch for Luke, entered.

"Your Majesty, at your command!" the female dark elf said.

"Take this letter to Zoey as soon as possible and bring back the trade documents when you return. The time has come to fully establish contact with the Mahrak Continent and the Tilios Continent. The Hilios Empire was already trying to agree with us; we can accept everything," Luke replied.

Upon hearing these words, Elsa shook her head, gently took the letter from Luke's hand, and disappeared. When she returned, the female dark elf had nearly twenty treaty proposals in her hand.

After carefully examining each agreement, Luke signed three: one containing the extremely durable mythril, one featuring the Hepra plant with its highly restorative properties, and one containing the Red Sea Stone, prized for its beauty and favoured by nobles.

The Red Sea Stone and Mythril were requested directly by the Mahrak continent.

The Hepra plant, however, had been requested by the Hilios Empire through a formal request.

Luke, of course, did not cancel the mythril agreement he had previously planned and approved with Hilios, and simply added his final signature.

Now, using the teleportation circle, each item had to be delivered to its respective location.

Luke would lose nearly four hundred thousand gold pieces, but in return, he would gain millions.

It was a cycle of business.
