That Time I Got Reincarnated By Veldanava

The day after Henrik received news that Blumund had The Western Freedom Alliance. With Dwargon and Blumund, Henrik was about to turn his attention to the various other nations in the west that was not ruled over by a Demon Lord. And so, Henrik and his High Counsel are meeting in the conference room of the castle.

The High Counsel is made up of Henrik at the head, the True Dragon brothers as his right hands who's he'd officially given the title of princes too, and his highest ranked subordinates like Benimaru, Souei and Shion.

The general formation of the counsel was mostly the same as Rimuru's, with the only noticeable exceptions being Shion is co-minister of military with Benimaru and Shuna is his secretary. He did this because he knew Shion would be much better suited in a combat position rather than a desk job.

Replacing Shuna was the economic minister was Lucia, since in the past, she had a large hand in taking care of her nations treasury.

Shizu would lead an army of human True Chosen Heroes in the future so she served as the highest ranked general in the military after the ministers of military.

"Your majesty," Chloe spoke up, "Since Demon Lord Clayman removed his bounty on your head, Yuuki has offered to meet with you and establish a Free Guild operations in Camelot. Also, I hope Souei doesn't mind me telling you this, but he has found that people are starting to come to the kingdom.

As a human myself, I thought it best if Lucia and I helped them with the transition here. Souei has already checked their histories and intentions. Any that were criminals were turned away. Among them, there was the three dwarven brothers and the elf girl.

The dwarven brothers have be reunited with Kaijin, and they have taken up residence in a house near his shop. The elf girl, Liliana, happens to be the daughter of a noble in the Dynasty of Sarion. So she purchased one of the mansions inside the castle walls. Despite her money, she as applied for a maid position here in the castle, however.

If I may speak bluntly your majesty," To which Henrik replied, "Of course."

"Well, after conferring with Ignis, I believe the elf girl has some latent and untapped magical power that if I may say, surpasses that of Shuna."

'Wait, that beautiful and tempting girl has magic THAT powerful. Since Shizu only met Shuna after I used [Darwin, Lord of Evolution] to make all my main subordinates as strong as they were in volume 21, that would make her incredibly powerful. At least 50 post awakened Claymans. How is she that strong?'

[Answer: The elf girl is powerful for two main reasons. The first is her elven biology. Elves are naturally powerful magic wielders, being from a noble family will only increase that power.

The second reason is the spirit that possessed her. When Shizu ripped the spirit out, it's likely that most of the spirits power was converted into pure magicules that as an elf, Liliana was able to absorb. She has likely evolved into an incomplete saint and doesn't realise it]

'An incomplete Saint? Just how powerful was that spirit. Hey, Raphael, you say that spirit was stronger. If it was at full power, completely unrestrained, could Shizu have beaten it?'

[Answer: After analysing spirit in Imaginary Space, I can grasp it's full power. Shizu would've beaten it all the same. It's likely that due to the nature of Shizu's ultimate skill, Ignis, Lord of Embers, if she went all out. Even you and Veldanava would be forced to not hold back or risk death]

'Don't get on Shizu's bad side, got it.'

"Shizu, if you are correct, I have no doubt that Liliana would be wasted as a maid. See if you can persuade her to join your squad. If she does, I'll grant her a hero egg. That reminds me, you should be nearing it hatching."

"Yes, thanks completely to Prince Veldanava's training, I can feel the egg getting closer to hatching. Soon, I should be able to fully awaken as a True Chosen Hero. If I may ask your majesty, when will you help the kids?"

"Yes, they're still dying. I was going to give Chloe more time to fully come to terms with what she went through. But thanks to having a cute puppy like Ranga by her side so much, she's recovered so fast. First thing tomorrow, we'll take them all to a place to heal them.

That brings us to the next topic of discussion. The 11 Great Demon Lords. Tomorrow, I intend to recruit the Demon Lord Ramiris to our side."

"This soon? Are you sure Henrik. If she says no, it's likely she'll tell the other Demon Lords what you're doing. Right now, we cannot afford that," Lucia said.

"I know, but. The sooner we have Ramiris on our side, the sooner we can start making bigger moves as a country. I personally can't save the children without bestowing hero eggs on them. That would essentially force them to become True Chosen Heroes. I won't force that kind of responsibility on them.

Ramiris can save them and not force the eggs. Plus, she's our easiest target. Given she knows Veldanava is here, she has chosen to not yet come. She still needs time to decide what she wants to do. Dino, while loyal to him, is the least likely to come. It was Veldanava's death that enraged him so much he went after the ones responsible and slaughtered them. Thus becoming a True Demon Lord.

So that only leaves us with Ramiris. There is Leon, but the main reason we can recruit him isn't ready yet. And until it is, I won't approach him."

"Henrik," Veldanava spoke up, "Perhaps I should come with you tomorrow. Ramiris and I are old friends, so having me there might advantageous."

"Great. Now, Hakurou, how is the goblins training coming along?"

"Very well my lord. Every day they're getting stronger and less dependant on the wolves. I wouldn't be surprised if they could beat a rank A monster alone by now."

"Excellent. Now, oni. I know I promised you all that I'd help you get revenge and I will. But first we must be sure what we're facing. I have reason to believe Demon Lord Clayman is somehow involved. It's one of those things I just know.

He may have removed the bounty off my head, but I haven't forgot what he did. Due to the nature of the alliance, I cannot directly declare war on a Demon Lord without reason. However, we've been gathering evidence and are able to link the orc disaster to Clayman.

Since the orc disaster is stampeding through the forest which is my lands, I can declare war on him, and I will. Once our military is stronger. That reminds me about the things I just know, Shizu, you told me that Demon Lord Noelle is the ruler of the Kingdom of Falmouth.

Since when?"

"100 years ago. She killed the entire Falmouth royal family and declared the nation as her own. Since she ruled it, it has thrived as an economic powerhouse, it's military is a little stronger. However, it's people suffer. They're treated more like slaves that exist to serve Demon Lord Noelle and die. However, any attempt of rebellion, and there's been many, has be squelched by the title of Demon Lord making them stop."

"I see. Demon Lord Noelle kidnapped Chloe, tried to killed her, infiltrated this city, threatened us and then left. Regardless of my former friendship with her, she has proven to be our enemy.

For nostalgia, I won't pursue war, however, knowing what I do about her, I have no doubt she'll be back. And not to apologise. If she gets near to harming one of those kids again," Henrik said before Veldanava spoke up.

"Then we'll raze her country to the ground."

"Ok then. Everyone knows what they need to do. Lucia, when you've helped Shizu with the foreigners transitioning, I want you to go over the treasury. Dwargon gave us a loan, so make sure it's put to good use."

"Of course Henrik."

"Gobta, I want you and some of the riders to escort Shuna and Rigurd to the nearby goblin camps. That's where we start the expansion, by bringing in more people. Shuna, you can name their leader, from here on out, with the exception of a few important people, names will be given only in recognition of service."

"Yes Lord Henrik," Shuna replied with a bow.

"Please don't bow to me," Henrik said only to be surprised by everyone saying it with him. After a few moments of shock, all anyone could hear was the whole counsel laughing with each other.

"Ok then, time to recruit Ramiris and save the kids."
