Tensura : Vingthor

Chapter 2: Chapter 1 : The Rumbling of Heaven and Earth (part 1)

(Guy Crimson's Point Of View)

For Guy Crimson, it started out like all the other Tenma Wars.

It always began the same way: angels descending from the heavens, their forms manifesting through his old rival, his closest friend—not that he'd ever admit that out loud.

Rudra, wielding his ultimate skill, [Justice King Michael], would send forth the angelic army with a singular purpose: to destroy humanity, or at least to cripple the rapid advancements the human nations had made over the past 500 years.

It was a dance. A song. A battle they had rehearsed for a thousand years.

Every 500 years, like clockwork, Rudra would activate his ultimate skill.

The angelic legions would descend, and Guy would answer. He would summon his personal forces, forged from the combined lineage of His, Rain and Misery, call upon the other demon lords, and strike back.

Not head-on, not to destroy, but to clash, to test, to maintain their peculiar equilibrium.

And so the cycle continued. Over and over.

Guy didn't know why it happened. He didn't know if it was fate, probability, or some cosmic joke played by forces beyond their understanding.

Honestly, he blamed Veldanava.

All he knew was that this particular game of theirs had gone on for far too long.

Today was no different—or so it seemed.

But this time, he was bored. Terribly bored.

The last 500 years had been the dullest of his existence.

No new Demon Lords had risen, no True Demon Lords had been born. There were no threats, no excitement, nothing to spark his interest.

As the [Mediator] of this world, he took great pride in maintaining the delicate balance of power for thousands of years.

And yet, as the Lord of Darkness, the Primordial of Red, he was bored out of his mind.

So, in his infinite boredom, he decided to do what he always did: pay Rudra a visit.

What better way to reignite an ancient war, an age-old rivalry, than with a proper, albeit brief, battle?

Their blades clashed. Their forces clashed. Their skills collided in an explosion of power that could shake the heavens

. It was supposed to be routine—a quick skirmish, a customary greeting between rivals, before they went about their respective business.

But now, as Guy stood amidst the chaos, his eyes fixed on the figure in the distance, something was different.

This wasn't part of the script.

"That aura…" he heard Rudra whisper beside him, a rare edge of surprise—and was that fear?

Guy narrowed his eyes, activating [Godspeed Calculations]. His mind sharpened as his processing powers surged to a whole new level, analyzing the anomaly before him.

The man standing in the distance—the thing standing before him—radiated an aura almost unlike anything he had ever felt.

It was overwhelming. Suffocating. Electric.

Raw, unrestrained, and pure—an almost endless well of power.

Guy felt it deep within him, stirring something ancient, something primal.

And for the first time in countless centuries, Guy Crimson paused.

Waves of fury radiated off the man, unbridled and uncontrollable. The sheer pressure of the storm-like energy crackled with authority, carrying the essence of lightning itself.

It was pure power, so intense it put even Veldora's presence to shame.

But unlike that reckless, irritating dragon, this energy was refined, controlled—a contradiction that should not be possible.

Dangerous.

The thought was silent but absolute. This aura wasn't just dangerous; it was catastrophic.

Any human exposed to it would die instantly. No, not just humans—any higher being below the rank of a [True Demon Lord] would be obliterated in seconds.

Even an ordinary [True Demon Lord] wouldn't last long under prolonged exposure to this presence.

And yet, there he stood: a blonde-haired man cloaked in unrelenting storms, lightning dancing around his form like living tendrils, his eyes glowing with divine fury.

His aura screamed of power rivaling that of a [True Dragon]—perhaps even surpassing it.

"That's impossible," Guy muttered to himself.

If someone this powerful had existed, there was no way he wouldn't have noticed them.

No way they could've hidden from him for so long.

And yet, there he was.

Guy tightened his grip on his blade, his usual smirk faltering for just a moment.

"What is this feeling?" he wondered, blood red eyes narrowing.

It wasn't fear. No, It was something far more unsettling.

It was excitement.

He took a deep breath, letting a sly grin return to his face.

"Now, what to do…" Guy Crimson muttered, his voice barely above a whisper, yet carrying an edge sharp enough to cleave the heavy silence.

As if in response to his musings, the air around him darkened.

His [Demon Lord Haki] surged forth, distorting the very fabric of reality. Space bent and twisted as if recoiling from his presence, bathed in a deep, pulsating crimson aura that radiated absolute dominance.

Idly, Guy's crimson gaze flickered to Rudra. His old rival had finally decided to stop holding back, unleashing the full might of his true power as a [True Hero].

The celestial brilliance of his blade, [Deva], shimmered ominously in his grip, its radiance matching the eerie glow of his eyes—a peculiar blend of blue and red.

Not that Guy could say much. His own blade, [Asura], rested in his hand, its edge gleaming with an ancient malice born from from countless majin and demon lords he personally slayed.

An ancient malice that promised annihilation.

Mankind feared Guy Crimson, the Demon Lord, the visible threat that loomed over their fragile peace.

In their terror, they united, fostering strength to resist the monster they believed him to be.

And yet, Guy had always held back. So long as they didn't provoke him, he had no intention of obliterating anyone.

He was the [Mediator] of this world after all , a role he not only accepted but genuinely enjoyed.

It was a job he took seriously, maintaining the delicate balance of power among the cardinal world .

But now, this man—this thing—had upset that balance.

"I was planning to return to the Ice Continent," Guy began, his voice calm, though his aura flared with growing intensity. "But I guess it can't be helped. After that display of yours, it's better to put you in your place early."

Guy's pride swelled within him. It was a part of his very essence, his nature as a [True Demon Lord], a [Primordial Demon].

And this man intrigued him.

He wanted him. Wanted to test him, to challenge him, to break him if he could.

Yet the figure before him, this storm-clad enigma, stood unmoving, his piercing blue gaze fixed on the horizon as if neither Guy nor Rudra were worth acknowledging.

Normally, such blatant disrespect would enrage Guy. But now, it thrilled him.

Finally, the man spoke, his voice deep and commanding, resonating with the fury of the heavens.

"You two," he began, his words like the rumble of distant thunder, "have waged wars that brought nothing but despair. You've called down dread from the far realms to destroy and bring carnage. You've twisted the rules of life and death."

The storm surrounding him roared in agreement, lightning splitting the skies as though reflecting his wrath.

"Surrender now," the man continued, his eyes glowing with storm-forged fury, the grip on his hammer tightening "or I will kill you both."

For a moment, silence reigned, broken only by the crackle of electricity in the air.

Then, Guy laughed—a deep, wild laugh that echoed across the battlefield.

"Dare if you can," he sneered, his crimson aura flaring brighter, darker, more chaotic.

And then the heavens erupted.

Lightning cascaded from the storm-clad figure in endless waves, shattering the earth below and rending the sky above.

Thunder roared, and with it came the pounding of a hammer that seemed to shake existence itself.

Blades clashed. Power collided. And the battlefield was consumed in a maelstrom of fury and light.
