Chapter 5: Unexpected Guest
When Klaus Schwarz came to, a terrible throbbing headache assaulted his temple. He felt as though someone had taken a good swing at him with a metal baseball bat, and inside his ears were ringing like an alarm bell.
A few seconds passed before he managed to regain his bearing, pushing against the floor as he sat up. At some point, the overwhelming flood of information had knocked him off balance, causing him to collapse.
Rubbing his temple, he groaned.
"Ugh… What the hell was that? Damn book… Wh-what did it… do to my head? I feel funny…"
Hearing the nonsense coming out of his mouth, Klaus shook his head, trying to focus as the pounding in his skull gradually faded. Fortunately, the dizziness lifted, and his vision cleared.
But something was wrong.
"Huh? What is this...?"
He blinked, rubbing his eyes, convinced he was hallucinating. But no matter how many times he looked, the scene in front of him did not change.
The book was gone.
In its place, something—no, someone—had appeared.
A female.
A girl who looked around his age or even older, 165 centimetres in height.
She lay motionless on the floor, seemingly unconscious. At a glance, she looked to be around his age, her chest rising and falling in the slow rhythm of sleep.
Klaus stared, unable to look away.
She was beautiful. No, that barely scratched the surface.
The girl was so stunning that the word beautiful seemed almost trivial. Her straight, long hair flowed down her shoulders, with bangs framing her face, was a mesmerizing shade of 'deep purple'. Her delicate, mature features exuded an enchanting charm, from the soft arch of her thin eyebrows to her small, refined nose, and the gentle fullness of her lips.
His gaze trailed downward.
Her figure was curvy, seductively so. Though her bust was small, her waist was narrow, accentuating the dramatic flare of her thick yet soft thighs, along with her broad shapely hips, which completed the enticing silhouette.
A pear-shaped body. Some might even call them child-bearing hips as they were wider than her shoulders.
But what truly stood out was her exceptionally full, round, bubble-shaped butt, so pronounced that it would put any woman's to shame. Given her position, with her body facing upwards, he could see everything, including her womanhood, but he deliberately averted his gaze, choosing not to acknowledge it.
Whatever the case may be, the unknown girl was undeniably captivating. However, Klaus didn't move.
He had completely frozen in shock.
Of course, she was beautiful... no, beyond that. She looked like a goddess of sex and desire who could enchant any mortal man with just a glance. But that wasn't what froze him in place.
Her skin was pink!
It was not a metaphor or some trick of light! Her skin tone was a natural shade of pale pink!
Klaus had never seen anyone with pink skin before. Scratch that, he was absolutely certain there were no humans on Earth with such a skin tone. That was the case even if you travelled all around the world and over again. Even rare medical conditions and genetic disorders couldn't produce something like this!
Certainly, it was completely strange.
But even stranger than her skin… were the things on her back, and her ears.
Since the unknown girl was lying face-up, it was difficult to see her bare back. But Klaus noticed something resting beneath her. No… something attached to her back.
Wings.
To be more specific, the pink, bat-like wings protruding from her back.
Furthermore, instead of normal human ears, the girl had pointed bat-like ears, the same shade of pink as her skin.
Her skin, bat wings, and bat ears were all the same shade of pink.
Under any other circumstances, he would have assumed she was a cosplayer. After all, cosplay had only become more popular in this era of humanity. But there was no way something like this could be artificial. The wings, the ears… they weren't props. They looked as natural as if they had been there since birth.
"This... This... This... girl..."
Klaus's eyes widened in horror.
He could deny it no longer.
From her extremely seductive appearance to her inhuman body proportions... there was no way someone like this could identify as human!
She was definitely a being from outside this world!
There was only one race that could belong to the category of Inhumans!
The girl's fingertips twitched. Her head slowly lifted from its resting position as she sat up.
"Haaaah… nnnhh…"
She yawned, stretching her stiff body and rubbing her eyes. At that moment, she abruptly realized that someone was staring directly at her. Her head shot up, and she froze.
The girl stared at Klaus's horrified expression, her wide amber eyes mirroring his shock. Abruptly, really abruptly, she became aware of her surroundings.
Certainly, it was far different from her own room!
As a result, the two continued to stare at each other in dumbfoundment, shock, confusion and other mixed emotions.
Then, suddenly, the girl shivered. A cold sensation crawled up her spine, and she became aware of something truly horrifying.
She was completely naked!
On that day and at that moment, Klaus Schwarz's story and misfortune began in its finest.

"Dammit. What the hell? Who slaps the first person they see when they wake up?"
Klaus groaned, rubbing his reddened cheek. Naturally, he had been slapped.
The strange girl had completely misunderstood the situation and struck him out of reflex. However, the instant her palm made contact, an agonizing pain surged through her head. She trembled, clutching her temples, her expression twisting in confusion and distress.
For some reason, it seemed like she couldn't harm him.
No. More than that, it felt as if she wasn't allowed to harm him. Klaus didn't know how he understood this, but the knowledge settled deep in his gut. If something happened to him… it wouldn't end well for her either.
As for an answer to his grumbling, he received none.
The pink-skinned girl sat on his bed, wrapped in a blanket—his blanket, to be exact. She had used it to cover herself and was now silently glaring at him.
An awkward silence seemed to dominate the room.
Klaus dug a finger inside his ear, and the strange girl chewed on her thumbnail. None of them made an attempt to speak and simply stared at each other.
It was as if they were both avoiding the elephant in the room, neither ready to address it.
Growing irritated by the silence, Klaus finally spoke up.
"Hey..."
"What?" answers the pink-skinned girl impatiently. Obviously, she was clearly in a bad mood.
Klaus hesitated before asking. "...Are you a demon?"
The girl's eyes widened in disbelief. Then, she responded with a scoff. "Do I look like a sheep to you?"
That was indeed a stupid question. He knew it the moment he asked. But at least now, he could confirm what he had already suspected.
The girl infront of him was a demon.
The mysterious book he had been messing with… had summoned a member of the demon race.
"Ah." Klaus muttered helplessly.
The demon race. The very same beings who had once attacked and enslaved humanity before the rise of the Emperor.
And he had just summoned one.
Didn't that mean he was now an enemy of humanity?
According to widely known history, demons were monstrous creatures driven by their instincts, spreading destruction and suffering wherever they went before they were sealed away in the demon realm.
During the Great War, countless lives had been lost. Even though centuries had passed since then, humanity's hatred for demons remained.
Summoning one… made him a criminal. A traitor. Public enemy number one.
"Ah-ha." Klaus let out a dry, mirthless laugh as the full weight of his situation finally hit him.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Why the hell did this happen? Fuck! I knew things were going too well for some reason.
Fuck! I summoned a fucking demon into my house! If anyone finds out, I'm dead! No trial, no explanation, I'd be executed in public!
What the hell are me going to do? Ah, would that work? Maybe I can... No, that won't work.
The only way to salvage this situation would be to hand her over to the military… but that wasn't even an option.
There was some kind of link connecting him to the girl. If a psychic so much as investigated him, he'd be completely screwed.
Considering how deeply humanity despised demons, his fears weren't unfounded. Siding with one—no, even associating with one—was a crime against the Emperor, which punishable death.
Perhaps if he turned her in, he could save his own skin. Hell, he might even be rewarded. But that was just wishful thinking. The reality was, if he tried to betray her, he would die also.
The seals on the Demon Realm were still intact and maintained by the Emperor. Even after centuries, it should have been impossible for demons to cross over to Earth.
Which meant…
If he suddenly "found" a demon in the middle of the city, it would be more than suspicious. It would be dangerous.
And looking at her now, she didn't even seem like the violent type.
She looked more like a demon meant to seduce men rather than one that relied on physical violence.
Humanity had many powerful psychics on its side, so demons of this kind weren't considered a major threat. In fact, they were deemed the least dangerous among their kind. Even so, that didn't mean she wasn't dangerous
A vivid image has already been formed inside his mind.
This wasn't his first time seeing a naked woman. He had spent plenty of wild nights with his ex-girlfriend, after all. But this pink-skinned demoness effortlessly stirred something primal within him.
Compared to Kelsey, her bust was smaller. Well, smaller in comparison to the mature women of the city. For an ordinary woman, one with regular assets, she would be considered fairly average. However, her striking beauty and her exceptionally voluptuous lower half more than made up for that.
In that regard, she easily surpassed every human women.
Ahh... Shit!
Klaus felt something rising from his crotch. It was a natural biological response to an attractive female. He was no stranger to this reaction and had long since learned how to suppress it.
But this time was different.
Because the attractive woman in question was a sex demon, sitting on his bed, wrapped in nothing but a blanket.
Whoever claimed these demons weren't dangerous had to be out of their mind.
To hell with that!
They were the most dangerous species alive, preying on primal instincts with terrifying ease. If Klaus wasn't careful, he'd lose control and succumbed to urges he refused to put into words!
Even though his guest was a demon, he had to at least look presentable.
Even though his guest was a demon, he had to at least look presentable.
Klaus cleared his throat. "I suppose I should start with an introduction."
"I don't care much about that."
"Is that so? By the way, you seem to be in a bad mood."
Her eyebrow twitched.
"A bad mood, you say? Oh, how funny! Let's think, why would I be in a bad mood, I wonder? Hmm~ Ah, I know! Maybe it's because while I was peacefully sleeping, someone suddenly summoned me into an unfamiliar world and dumped me in a cramped apartment! And another thing, how the hell are you comfortable living in this filth?! I swear I've already seen three cockroaches!!"
Klaus's eyebrow twitched as well.
"My apologies if my humble apartment doesn't meet your high standards, Your Highness. I'll be sure to roll out the red carpet next time. Maybe even exorcise the roaches, if they're offending your royal sensibilities!! Also, it's rude to slap the first person you see in this kind of situation! Didn't you learn any manners, you damn demon?!"
"Why you...! Send me back this instant!"
"Yeah, about that… I don't think I can."
Her glare sharpened. "What do you mean you can't?"
"Exactly what it sounds like. I have no clue how to send you back. Hell, I don't even know how I brought you here."
"Then figure it out," she growled. "I won't stand for this humiliation! Do you have any idea who I am?!"
Klaus narrowed his eyes.
"No, I don't. But I do know that if anyone finds out about you, we're both fucked."
"Language," she muttered, rolling her eyes.
"Excuse me? You just got mad about being summoned into another world, and you're upset about my language?"
The demon ignored him and turned away with an annoyed huff.
Klaus dragged a hand down his face, already feeling the headache returning.
This was going to be a long day.
