Taoist Master Leaves the Mountains: All My Senior Sisters Love Me

Chapter 143 The Location of Wang Ye's Parents

Xi County, suburb.

Tan Long parked the car in front of a house, a house that, along with the area next to it, had been uninhabited for a long time.

Desolate and deserted.

Wang Ye and Su Wanqing got out of the car, Tan Long the last to alight.

Once out of the car, Wang Ye looked around and soon spotted a flagpole next to them.

It was the very flagpole that had emerged in Wang Ye's memory.

The surrounding environment was almost the same as the last glimpse he had before his memory had begun to shatter.

"Is this the place?"

Su Wanqing glanced at Wang Ye. Although it was where Su Wanqing had lived as a child, she was also afraid something unexpected might happen.

"It is."

Wang Ye responded, recalling the view from inside his mind and locating the house where Su Wanqing and he had lived as children.

Tan Long stayed silent on the side, unaware of the reason behind Wang Ye and Su Wanqing's visit to this place.

He was just Wang Ye's driver.

Creak.

Wang Ye opened the door, with Su Wanqing following behind.

Without a word, Wang Ye entered while Tan Long stayed outside, waiting.

Wang Ye surveyed the room, finding that its layout was almost identical to what he remembered. Despite the passage of time, it had not changed at all.

If it hadn't been for the presence of someone inside, Wang Ye would have felt as though he had returned to the night of his memory.

Even Su Wanqing looked on helplessly at the additional person in the room, feeling a sense of wanting to express her annoyances but not knowing where to begin.

Initially, upon seeing the arrangement of the room coupled with the memories Wang Ye had shared with her that night, Su Wanqing felt as if the past experiences with Wang Ye were flooding back into her memory like a tide.

This caused her feelings for Wang Ye to change.

However, she then saw a middle-aged man sitting on a chair. This abrupt revelation snatched Su Wanqing from her recollections, voiding those emotions.

Therefore, when Su Wanqing looked at the man with those helpless eyes, she felt quite resigned.

Wang Ye also felt surprised as he looked at the middle-aged man. He hadn't expected there to be a middle-aged man in this room.

Wang Ye addressed the middle-aged man, "Why are you here?"

Though he asked this, Wang Ye didn't seem too guarded against the man, sensing somehow that the man harbored no ill intentions.

The middle-aged man, upon hearing Wang Ye's question, did not immediately reply but instead scrutinized him.

After taking a good look at Wang Ye, the man finally asked, "You... Are you a descendent of the Wang family?"

At the man's words, Wang Ye's heart flinched for a moment.

Having just entered the room, it would have been difficult for the other party to guess his identity, so the man's deduction must have been based on something concrete.

The man might have known Wang Ye's parents.

Although Wang Ye's heart trembled for a moment, his facial expression didn't show it. Instead, he turned to the middle-aged man and asked, "Who are you? Why are you here?"

"I'm from the Wang family, sent to deliver something," the middle-aged man said, seeming to recognize Wang Ye and so spoke directly.

After the middle-aged man finished speaking, his gaze lingered on Wang Ye, appraising him. After the scrutiny, he remarked with a sigh, "You look so much like your father, the spitting image of him when he was young."

Upon hearing the middle-aged man's words, a smile appeared on Wang Ye's face.

The middle-aged man indeed knew his father!

The middle-aged man then looked towards Su Wanqing, "You must be the young miss of the Su family, Su Wanqing, right? You've grown up to be so beautiful. If your parents knew how you've turned out, they would certainly be very happy."

Hearing this, Su Wanqing's beautiful face showed a flicker of emotion as she asked the middle-aged man, "So... my parents are still alive?"

"Yes."

The middle-aged man nodded, glancing at Su Wanqing and then turning to Wang Ye, saying, "Your parents are still alive, not just yours, but Wang Ye's parents too."

"Then... where are they now?"

Wang Ye asked, his eyes fixed on the middle-aged man, his breathing quickened, waiting for the man to continue speaking.

These past few days, Wang Ye had been investigating the disappearance of the Wang family. Now that he was on the verge of hearing the answer, Wang Ye felt naturally excited.

The middle-aged man cast a wary glance at Tan Long standing outside the door.

Seeing this, Wang Ye assured the middle-aged man, "Just speak freely. He's my subordinate and won't leak anything."

"Mm."

The man responded and continued, "They are now in Wolong City, Nanhe Province."

"Nanhe Province, Wolong City."

Both Wang Ye and Su Wanqing thought for a moment; Wolong City in Nanhe Province was not very far from here. If they drove, it would only take five or six hours to get there.

"So what are they doing in Wolong City now?" Wang Ye and Su Wanqing both asked again.

Upon hearing Wang Ye and Su Wanqing's questions, the middle-aged man shook his head and stood up. "After all, this isn't the place to talk. Let's switch locations and have a proper conversation."

"Mm."

Wang Ye and Su Wanqing answered, the middle-aged man walking ahead while they followed.

Just then,

Several silver needles shot out from Wang Ye's hand, hitting various acupoints on the middle-aged man's body, rendering him immobile.

Seeing Wang Ye's action, Su Wanqing quickly asked in alarm, "What are you doing?"

While speaking, she tried to remove the silver needles Wang Ye had shot into the middle-aged man.

Wang Ye did not stop her but said indifferently, "Go ahead and pull them out. These silver needles, using different forces at different acupoints, have different effects."

"You don't understand this area. If you recklessly pull out the needles, the man might end up crippled."

Hearing Wang Ye's words, Su Wanqing, worried that her actions might harm the middle-aged man, turned to Wang Ye urgently, "He's someone who knows where our parents are, he's on our side. Why did you do that to him?"

The middle-aged man also spoke up, "Right, I was sent by your father. If you take care of me, then you won't be able to find out your father's whereabouts."

"So, release me quickly!"
