The next day at Adesuwa's office, Ronke was Adesuwa's personal assistant was in her office sorting some files when Ronke entered....

" Good morning ma " Ronke greeted

" Good morning Ronke, please call Mr. Dami to see if the meeting is still taking place " Adesuwa replied

" Okay ma, I'll just do that " Ronke said as she excused herself, immediately Ronke left, Adesuwa's phone rang and it was Olumide calling

" Good morning my sunshine " Olumide said from the other end

" Good morning babe " Adesuwa replied still sorting out the files

" Babe can you go out on a dinner date with me today at 5pm, I'll send you the location " Olumide asked

" Okay babe " Adesuwa replied as she ended the call .

Moments later, Ronke came back into Adesuwa's office with bunch of files on her hand .....

" Ma, I couldn't reach Mr. Dami but I was able to reach his assistant and the meeting is still taking place, 12pm " Ronke said

" Can the meeting be prosponed to tomorrow, I'm a bit swamped " Adesuwa asked

" Yeah sure ma, I'll send it to Mr. Dami's email " Ronke replied as she left the office

Later on Adesuwa received a call from Tami in which she quickly picked ...

" Hey tams " Adesuwa said

" Hi Susu, what are you up to " Tami asked

" Hmm, just sorting out some files, what about you " Adesuwa replied

" I'm at the spa getting a massage, I was hoping if you could join me " Tami said

" Hmm, not today Tami, I'm quite occupied " Adesuwa replied

" I totally understand Susu, I'll catch you later I need to enjoy this massage " Tami said

" Alright Tami, enjoy your spa " Adesuwa replied as the call ended

At fabulous restaurant, Olumide was seen sitted in the third table after the entrance door alone, when a waiter approached him and said

" Good day sir, what would you love me to offer you " The waiter said with a menu on her hands

" I'm actually waiting for someone, when she comes I'll order " Olumide replied

" Should I give you water in the main time " The waiter asked

" How much is a bottle of aquafina water " Olumide asked

" Two thousand naira for big bottle and one thousand naira for the small bottle sir " The waiter replied

" Can I get the small bottle please " Olumide said

" Sir sir " The waiter replied as she immediately brought the water and a glass cup, when Adesuwa approached the table

" Hey babe, sorry I'm late " Adesuwa said as Olumide got the chair for her

" You look beautiful, my mother always warned me to stay away from beautiful things like you, they're charming " Olumide said

" Stop babe, you're flattering me " Adesuwa blushed

" Let's be realistic Susu, you've really made me a changed person, I never understood what love means until I met you " Olumide comfessed

" Susu? Since when did you start abbreviating my name to Susu, I thought you liked Ade "Adesuwa asked

" It's obvious I learnt from Tami, and the way she calls the Susu really amaze me" Olumide replied

" Well only my friends are allowed to call me susu, what you should call me is sunshine " Adesuwa said as Olumide burst into laughter

" My sunshine, I really think we should have a future together " Olumide said with a gorgeous smile on his face

" What do you mean babe. " Adesuwa said slowly

" Will you marry me Adesuwa Olorunfemi carts " Olumide said as he stretched the ring towards Adesuwa, when some staff started saying "yes yes"

" Yes, I'll marry you " Adesuwa replied emotionally as she accepted the ring

" I love you so much sunshine, and I will always love you " Olumide said

" I love you too babe " Adesuwa replied as they got into a deep kiss when someone in the restaurant said to their hearing " I think you guys should take a room up stairs " Adesuwa laughed slightly as she recovers from the kiss.

That same evening around 8pm, Adesuwa was already home, she picked her phone and went to their friendship group chat to announce her engagement

~Lara: Two friends got engaged in a week, is like the guys planned it

~Adesuwa: Abi oh

~Tami: we eventually need to celebrate you girls

~Lara: work aside, we are all meeting at Tami's house, 12 noon tomorrow

~ Tami: why my house all the time

~Zuri: You love complaining Tami

~Lara: Tami you better get food and drinks ready before tomorrow

~Tami: Alright fine

~Adesuwa: Night girlies

~Lara: Good night sweeties

~Zuri: Good night babes

~Tami: Good night pookies

The following morning at Zuri's apartment, Mrs salami, Zuri's mom called Zuri...

" Good morning mom " Zuri greeted immediately she picked the call

" Good morning Zuri, when were you going to tell me you got engaged, you made me look like a fool when it's But showed me in her phone " mrs salami said from the other end

" I was going to tell you but....." Zuri was sàying as Mrs salami cut her off

" But what Zuri, you're 30yrs now, you're old enough to be a mother, why can't Ben just come and see your family for proper introduction instead of all this " Mrs salami said

" We're taking things step by step mom, you know things aren't easy, and Ben has to work , so as me too " Zuri replied

" Well anyways I call to congratulate you, when you're ready let me know " Mrs salami said

" Okay bye mommy, extend my greetings to Zainab " Zuri said as the call ended

Zainab was Zuri's younger sister, she was 22yrs and was in her second year of studying medicine in the university of ibadan. Zainab was very beautiful. Zuri's dad died six yrs ago, so Mrs salami lives in ibadan with Zainab, they're currently in ibadan.
