Chapter 1221: I Can Only See What I Am Allowed To See [Part 2]
"They are brutal and merciless, and their leader, Valtheron, believes in ruling through fear and dominance. Their armies are mostly composed of Jinns shackled by blood pacts and chains of servitude.
"In any case, they're a formidable force. Valtheron has mastered the art of bending even the most rebellious Jinns to his will.
"You can think of him as a more arrogant and brutal version of Prince Aurelion, who actually knows what he is doing. He is also a Pseudo-Majin Prince."
Mikhail and Rianna were also paying close attention to the information that Siri was sharing. They didn't know much about the Antares Continent, but they understood that learning more would do them good.
The only thing their generation knew about the Antares Continent was that it had been the first to fall to the Jinns after humanity's strongest fighters died in the Genocide-Level Gate. Known only to Thirteen, it was also where Erasmus, who was Cassiel at that time, had died after being betrayed by the Monarchs of Pangea.
"The third Faction specializes in poisons, and although they aren't fighting to take control over Antares, we're more wary of them more than we are of the Blackfang Dominion.
"They are called the Venom Heart Cabal."
Siri's tone grew colder. "Unlike Astoria and Blackfang, they do not flaunt their numbers or their strength. They thrive in the shadows, weaving webs of toxins, assassins, and forbidden alchemy.
Their leader, known only as Mistress Saryth, is said to be immortal—or at least, unkillable. Every attempt to remove her has failed, and the assassins sent after her never returned… More accurately, they'd be back as corpses twisted into monstrous forms by her poisons."
"The war to decide the final three warlords was exceptionally brutal, but the Venom Heart Cabal was feared by many, including us.
"My mother had ordered her right-hand woman to ally with Mistress Saryth, deeming that fighting against her was too dangerous.
"Fortunately, the leader of Venom Heart knew that my mother truly wanted to have a strong partnership with her, so she agreed to the alliance.
"In the end, Astoria and Venom Heart became the two Warlords of Antares. We fought openly, while they fought in the darkness. They purposely made us shine the most, so they could hide their true strength from our rivals."
"While Blackfang dominates through fear and brutality, and Astoria through discipline and force, Venom Heart rules through whispers and dread," Siri added. "They are fewer in number, but each of their soldier carries a venom that can easily kill a Rank 5 Jinn in moments.
"Their poison seeps into food, water, even the air. They rarely march openly into battle, but when they do, entire armies collapse before their blades can even reach them. Zion, I know that with Cranky by your side, making the Jinns in Antares listen to reason will not be hard.
"But remember this, take extra caution when dealing with Venom Heart. It will be best if you form a good relationship with them, just like what my mother had done back then."
Thirteen nodded. "Thank you. I will seriously take your words to heart. I'll return to the city, but let's all have dinner one of these days."
After bidding them goodbye, Thirteen returned to Rocky's mobile fortress.
But instead of heading back to Casimir City, the teenage boy returned to the Domain of the Apocalypse to look for Kamrusepa.
And just as he expected, the Majin Princess of Prophecy was already there, waiting for him, as if she already knew he would come looking for her.
"I need your help," Thirteen said. "I want to talk with Mistress Saryth."
"Sure," Kamrusepa replied. "But remember this, Thirteen. You'll be dealing with a true immortal. She might not be a Majin Princess, but I assure you she is much more dangerous than one."
"I understand." Thirteen nodded. "Siri told me to be careful."
"Speaking of my daughter, how is your brother treating her?" Kamrusepa arched an eyebrow. "I hope he is not a playboy."
"Mikhail is not like that," Thirteen stated. "I was the one who raised him."
"Oh dear. It's no wonder why my daughter fell for him. Originally, I thought that she will fall for you."'
"So there are things that even you cannot foresee."
The Majin Princess giggled. She had always portrayed herself as the all-knowing member within the Order of the Apocalypse, earning her the nickname of the Majin Princess of Prophecy.
"Of course." Kamrusepa smiled faintly. "I'm not omniscient. I can only see what I am allowed to see. Naturally, there are things I cannot see. This is especially true in regards to you and your family."
She had tried to do that many times in the past, but the only thing she saw was a pair of giant green eyes that looked down at her from the heavens.
Those eyes belonged to a being that Kamrusepa dared not offend, for doing so would be folly.
"I look forward to seeing my future son-in-law when you visit Antares," Kamrusepa added. "You're taking him with you… right?"
"Should I?" Thirteen inquired. "Bringing him there might be dangerous."
"Just let him stay in our castle," Kamrusepa said. "I'll make sure he is safe. Also, I want to meet him personally. I want to see the child who made my daughter's heart skip a beat."
"Okay," Thirteen agreed because Kamrusepa promised to keep Mikhail safe.
Since she said that she wanted to meet Mikhail personally, this meant that she could now cross over to Pangea, just like Camazotz and Zapar. Perhaps the veil protecting their world had weakened that considerably.
This also added to Thirteen's concern. If the Majin Princess could now cross over to Pangea, didn't that mean that the powerhouses of the two other Factions could do the same?
'I guess I need to take Camazotz and the Azothralls with me just in case things escalate.' Thirteen smiled faintly. 'An immortal, huh? I wonder what kind of immortal she is.'
Thirteen had faced many immortals in the past, and frankly, he wasn't too worried about them.
Sure, they couldn't die.
But with the knowledge that he had compiled over the years, he was confident that even if Mistress Saryth were to do something foolish, he would be able to deal with her, even if she had an undying body.
