Seeing that it was unable to knock the bottle out of Serena's hand, the Lightning Dragon roared furiously and charged at her again. Its speed was truly too fast.

The area became quiet again. However, Serena didn't let her guard down. She knew the battle was far from over.

She looked in the lake and could see countless arcs of lightning flickering violently, as if gathering power before the final strike.

While there was still time, she looked in Alex's direction. She was worried that her battle with the Lightning Source Essence might affect Alex, injuring him greatly. But when she saw him completely unaffected, still wrapped in a lightning cocoon, she couldn't help but raise her brows in surprise.

"His lightning elemental body must be a high-level one. All the lightning energy inside this lake was produced by the Lightning Source Essence. Being able to absorb them and stay unaffected even in such a chaotic situation, it seems his physique is far more terrifying than I originally thought. The other two lightning dragons did the same, exploding directly and also transforming into two lightning chains that wrapped around Serena.

Inside the bottle, the engraved patterns glowed brighter and brighter, shining like countless stars. Each glow tightened the suction force, dragging more of the lightning fish inside. Its head and body were already half swallowed. The lightning fish thrashed its tail wildly in the lake. Every swing of its tail shook the lake, making the water boil and waves of lightning shoot into the air. Still, it could not escape.

At the same time, Serena struggled against the three lightning chains binding her. The chains dug deep into her body, each bolt of lightning burning her skin and paralyzing her muscles. This suction force was even stronger than the bottle's. The one-fourth part of Lightning Source Essence had no chance to resist at all. In just a breath of time, it was pulled inside Alex's body and swallowed completely.

Serena was momentarily stunned when she saw one-fourth of the Lightning Source Essence being absorbed into Alex's body.

However, that expression lasted only for a brief instant. Her usual cold composure quickly returned, and without hesitation, she refocused on the situation. She dived straight toward the Heavenly Essence Capturing Bottle, grabbed it firmly, and stored it away before resurfacing.
