Five minutes later, John Ansen led Morris out of the lecture room, through the corridor and several doors, arriving at the family waiting area outside the operating room.

Morris's wife was waiting here alone, with no information the whole time, feeling very tormented inside.

And since the surgery went smoothly without any surprises, naturally, no one from the surgery team came out to communicate with the family.

Upon seeing Morris, his wife immediately leapt into his arms.

Morris pinched a little bit of his wife's facial skin, symbolically pinching it.

This couple pinched each other back and forth several times.

John Ansen quietly left, finding it incredible that this couple was pinching each other so forcefully here, truly a strange endearing habit.

"How long before they come out?"
