Fearing the flying dragon who barely get out from the Magical Gate.

Sudden heat coming from a blaze of fire that covering the dragon, enforcing any people below the dragon to run for their life before their skin getting burnt.

Amidst the heavy windy pressure and unstable movement of the dragon, I focused myself on gripping the chain that's linked with the Kael's great Sword on Aeron's body.

Cautiously, I climb the chain, moving thorough the flame that imbued at Aeron's body, until I finally arrived at the Kael's great sword that is still stabbing Aeron's back.

"Die human! All of you! Burnt by Aeron's flame of Vengeance!", Aeron shout with its monster language, followed by its monster language.

Looking at how low Aeron's flies, my instinct warn me on Aeron's intention to destroy the city with it's deadly attach that priced on its soul.

As soon as I realize from a far away, estimating the direction of Aeron thorough on the sky, I gasped.

The damn dragon is aiming the hospital at the east where my mother is getting treated on.

It worse since I know Arlene must be at the hospital since she always come to the hospital after school.

Fuck!

So, this is your vengeance, huh?!

To getting revenge on my family?!

Either the System order me to kill you or not, if it related with my family safety, I will defeat you, Aeron!

Since the distance between Aeron and the hospital become shorter, there's no time for me to cast Divine Thunder.

Without further thought, I cast Lightning Bolt toward the left wing of the dragon, succeeding strike it so the dragon lost its balance from the sky.

With the help of Gaia Endowment Spell effect, I strengthen my grip on the giant sword, which useful for helping me not to fall because Aeron is on it way to crash.

It's not enough, though, because the distance of Aeron and the hospital where my mother and sister belong still short.

I quickly aim the right wing of the dragon, cast another Lightning Bolt that managed to strike it, make Aeron completely crash out, hitting a couple of buildings, until it completely landed on the city park near the hospital.

Amidst the debris and dust due to the impact of Aeron's raw crash, Aeron body shaking, forcing itself to crawl with its hand and one leg.

Aeron's stare at the hospital, which I understand at this point this stupid dragon is still forcing itself to destroy the hospital.

All the grass in the park burnt due to Aeron's blazing flame.

Without hesitation, I cast another Lightning Bolt, aimed at Aeron's head.

Six Lightning Bolt successfully strike this vengeful dragon, made its head paralyzed for a moment, but the weird thing is it hands and leg still moving.

Aeron insist crawl its way to the hospital!

Fuck!

How I can stop this dragon?!

Even Knight Association not yet deployed its team to anticipate this sudden invasion?!

It took several seconds for me to understand the meaning of this notification.

As I look around, I just realized the Great Sword's grip is cracking, reveals its black scepter.

If I remember correctly, Kael's Great Sword is not crafted by Knight Association.

Instead, Kael found those sword during on his Invasion mission, fighting the dragon.

Well, Kael might be not realized there's a legendary scepter that can be utilized by Magician inside his Great Sword!

I observe the Great Sword that embedded on Aeron's body more carefully, I just realized the cracking is caused by the heat of Aeron's flame magic.

There's a odd feeling as I see the part of scepter, feels like it strangely calling me.

Whether it's true or not, the System had told me to get those scepter, hopefully it can help me ended this chaos.

Without further thinking, I quickly grab the revealed scepter.

It's damn though to pull it, even with the help of Gaia Endowment Spell.

Time is moving up!

Only 3 minutes left!

Suppose the heat of flame that causing the cracking, I might try to elevate it more quickly.

I quickly took a sip of Mana Potion for restoring my Mana Power, then immediately preparing casting my new spell: Fire Storm.

A wind of fire comes, surrounding Aeron like a tornado.

The wind of fire gradually burn Aeron's skin, but it not fast enough to defeat it since Aeron's base magic power is fire.

The heat emerges drastically, making the Great Sword's grip cracked entirely, including the blade of Great Sword.

Due to the increasing heat from Aeron and my flame magic spell, the Ice Barrier Spell quickly depleted.

I even can feel the heat starting burnt my had gradually.

I scream painfully, but I insist not to give up!

If I release the grip, then it's all over, for me, and my family!

As I took a long breath, I pull the entire scepter from Aeron's body.

A gleaming red light shown from red crystal attached at he edge of the scepter.

Aeron screams its pain so loud, making almost all window in nearest building broke.

As I point the Dragon Scepter to the sky, I can feel it resonates toward all the fire that surround me, including the wind fire from my Fire Storm spell and the fire from Aeron's Flame Magic.

With this Dragon Scepter, I can control all of this destructive fire.

I aimed at the sky, enforcing all of fire flies to the highest sky, until it vanished itself.

Few minutes passed, Aeron who no longer cast its flame magic succumb.

The dragon fell, without further intention to fight.

"It seems my vengeance had been beaten by your strong determination, Zeta's apprentice.", Aeron said with low tone, not with anger as previous.

No word.

I just stare at Aeron, knowing the dragon is in the end of its life.

Aeron's eye slowly closed, along side with its body unraveled into the black dust, which is the sigh of Monster's death.

"The Flame of my Vengeance shall forever consume you, Alstair. You are cursed, much like your master, Zeta." the dragon's words echoed until its form disintegrated into ashes.

I never could have imagined the immense influence the Dragon Scepter would have on my abilities as a Magician.

But even with its power, I know it's not enough.

I must push myself further to harness even more of my magical potential and protect my family.

Taking a moment to collect myself and resist the temptation of the reward, I inhale deeply and exhale, grounding myself in the present.

As I gaze up at the tranquil sky, the battle is finally over.

The Magical Gate has been sealed shut, and Aeron, our foe, has been vanquished.

The Dragon Scepter gleaming its blue light, breaking into a hundred magical sphere that drained into my body.

I store the scepter on the System's Inventory, which I can quickly prepared in split of second if there's a Monster.

As far as I see, the hospital building is not damaged, only a broken window, but I believe it's not severe as destroyed building or burnt park around me.

The sound of helicopter and hundred stomp of Knights from any side become near, indicating the long awaited support just been arrived.

Man, they're so late to help!

Maybe if Aeron had not been defeated, half of city could be destroyed with their slow response!

I really not care too much about that since I had finished my System's Quest, then go back to the hospital, ensuring my mother and my sister are alright.

My mother also had been transferred into another hospital, which surprisingly is the best hospital in my city.

I have all the money to cover additional medical expense of my mother, but there's another problem.

Arlene hurriedly hold me from behind, but I still can't fathom the doctor's judgment on my mother condition.

We can't do anything rather than keeping her body maintained, but with no consciousness.", the doctor said it with heavy tone, showing he also had out of option to recover my mother.

Even the best hospital, and the most expensive, in the city are giving up to cure the mysterious disease that made my mother comma!

Arlene, who realized my mixed feeling of anger and confusion, gradually pulling me back and give a sign to the doctor to leave before I yelled at the doctor again.

I took a long exhale as I sit aside with my sister.

It took a few minutes passed for me to calm myself, looking for another solution to save my mother.

"Minerva? Kael?", I stood out from the chair with a bit of confusion on their arrival.

"Sorry if we're surprising you, Alstair.

There's a very few of information comes to you and we can't contact you.

Some of our relatives know you usually come to the hospital to visit your mother.", Minerva abruptly explain.

"In short, we just want to pay a visit to your mother, and thanked you for helping us on fighting Aeron. We really owe our life.", Kael added, which a better explanation for me to understanding their intention.

Well, there's no need for me to tell them the main reason I help them is because of the System request it.

"Don't sweat it. It's normal for Knights to help each other.", I replied casually.

"Unfortunately, The Knight Association not as wise as you, Alstair.", Minerva exhaled deeply.

I can see Minerva's face become sad and little bitter.

"What's wrong?", I asked curiously.

Minerva want to answer, but the sad and disappointment on her face make her difficult to simply answer.

Realizing Minerva sad, Kael hold her, trying to relief her feeling.

"The Knight Association had punish my wife with sanction due to 'personal use' of her Magical Gate. Now she can't be assigned for any Knight Mission for one month.", Kael explain it to answer my curiosity.

"Well, that is an ironic decision from Knight Association.", I said.

What about me?

I also involved on Minerva's decision.

But after I getting reminded being blacklisted by almost all Knights, I guess that kind of sanction is not different from my current condition.

"A-anyway, we just want to pay visit to your mother, Alstair. I heard your mother had been comma for a month. Is that correct?", Minerva suddenly shift the topic.

I just nodded without words.

It is depressing to think my mother condition and how hopeless the doctor to help her.

"We heard from the Knight Association, it seems on the last month from any Monster Invasion, many people getting similar disease like your mother, Alstair.", Minerva continue explain.

"Really?", I ask for confirmation.

"Yes, its true. This comma state is mysteriously can't be recovered even with the most modern medical we have in the world. However...", Kael stopped his explanation for a while, then look around, ensuring no other people, including Arlene, hearing him.

"...there's a story among the Knight there's a hidden dungeon on Monster Realm that will lead you to the Miracle Potion, which further believed will bring recovery to any disease, including this mysterious disease.", Kael continue whispering at me.

"Seems a bit to fantasy story to me. Are you sure about that?", I whispered back with a doubt.

"Initially, I also think the same, but, recently, a group of S-Rank and A-Rank Knight's Guild, want to investigate those hidden dungeon. I heard they had already identify its location on the Monster Realm."

If elite Knights are move on that hidden dungeon, I know there's probability of Miracle Potion is true.

"It might be worth to try.", I mumbling after long pause of thought.

"I know you will be interested.", Kael smiled a moment, then took his badge of Knight for me.

"W-wait... what is this?", I asked with a bit confusion.

"I know there's a huge misinformation to you, but I believe you're not as bad as those false news tell.

Hold this badge as guarantee so you can join the invasion mission toward the hidden dungeon.", Kael answered.

"But how about you? I mean... you might be-"

"The Knight Association ask me to join. They still believe Aeron defeated by me, not you. But I refuse because they're denying the fact that Aeron is defeated by you. Besides, I know this mission is far more important to you rather than me. Take it, Alstair. Let's say, it's a form of me to pay me and my wife owe to you after you saved us.", Kael insist while gripping my hand for ensuring his badge still on my hand.

I paused for a while, looking at Minerva who nodded at me as a sign to accept Kael's offering.

The security suddenly stopped me before I entered the main lobby of Knight's Association center building.

The security look at me sharply, while checking the notification from his device, showing I'm not allowed to entry due to my status as blacklisted Knight.

"I want to join the important mission. It said the recruitment is starting now.", I said confidently while showing Kael's Honor Emblem.

The security gasped as they see the emblem, double-checking it with their device, and forced to believe me since the emblem is real.

The security, there's three person in front of me, whispering each other.

It seems they still insist to tackle me to entry, but I have this emblem, so they can't do that.

"Dumbass securities! Do your duties! Don't make this troublemaker come inside!", the sound of woman shouting with anger, followed by her heavy step, coming from behind.

The anger and hatred from her shouting is familiar, which I found it obvious come from the S-Rank Knight's who still cursed at me: Stella.

Without hesitation, Stella slap each of security, yelling at their incompetent for halt me to entry the building.

"You damn swindler! What the heck with that Kael's precious emblem! I believe you're stealing it from him!", Stella point at my face with angry face.

My instinct immediately hit as Stella come near, trying to took Kael's emblem.

With the help of Gaia Endowment Spell, I can quickly took a back step quickly, avoiding Stella every time she tries to took Kael's emblem from my hand forcefully.

"Give it back, moron!", Stella shouted loudly, along with a blue sphere come from her body that immediately manifest into her special bow and arrow.

The intense become real as Stella aiming the bow toward my head.

It only took a seconds after Stella release her first arrow, which I can handle it by counter it with casting Lightning Bolt Spell.

The fuck?!

This bitch preparing her next shot!

I quickly cast another Lightning Bolt spell, striking rapid arrow shooting from Stella.

It almost ten times we strike each other with out skill.

The blitz of lightning and cracking of Stella's silver arrow spreading around us, creating a shock that make cracking platform and enforce people run away screaming in fear.

As soon as I see the silver aura from Stella's body suddenly emerging, I can feel her murderous intent is intensify.

There's a huge difference of silver arrow that she currently aimed at me, which I understand it's her attempt to defeat me wit her strengthen magical arrow.

I quickly check the System's inventory, preparing myself to equip the Dragon Scepter to fight back.

But suddenly, someone coming between us from behind.

The man unsheated his double sword very quickly, then point out at me and Stella.

As the gleaming green light shown from the edge of each blade, I just realize that man is William.

"Stop. Both of you.", William warn me and Stella.

Well, I think I should not continue my attempt to escalate this meaningless battle anymore.

However, Stella seems unsatisfied.

"William?! Why you're not helping me?! Don't tell me you support him and-"

"I said stop, Stella. Should I repeat it again? It's embarrassing to create mess in this place.", William intervene with cold voice.

But again, Stella still insist to do it.

"You choose this lowest rank knight rather than me?! It's you're the one who put a shame on the Knight Association because you bringing the most blacklisted Knight on this place! Oh, the Claymore Guild should be ashamed for having you as the leader!", Stella still insist, aiming both me and William with her silver bow.

"It's you who always falsely accused him, Stella! You're the one who start this mess! You're the one who should shameful for your dumb action!", William fight back.

The bickering between Stella and William continues, which I really wonder how I can breakthrough this mess and can participate on the invasion toward the hidden dungeon.

In the middle of my thought, I heard lot of steps behind me.

Seems like a group of Knights, with strong aura come near me.

Before I tilt my head, one of them hold my shoulder from behind.

The man is tall, with some muscle on his body, then look at me with eerie smile.

If I'm not mistaken, he's the A-Rank Knight who don't have any guild, but always have A-Rank Knight grouped with him during the mission.

His name is Winstein.

He might be A-rank Knight that is now well known, but among Knights, he and his henchmen are feared of their skill as a Knight.

However, I sense something strange on him and his henchmen.

Something suspicious and malevolent, if I can say.

"William, I guess we need this Thunder Magician for our mission.", Winstein told us calmly.

"What are you saying, Winstein?! Are you saying you also support this lowest rank Knight?!", Stella shouted at Winstein.

"Oh, please calm down everyone! All of you S-Rank Knight are not assigned for the hidden dungeon mission! It's our mission! For A-rank Knight below!", Winstein said it casually.

Stella, surprisingly, lower her bow.

But her stare still sharp on me.

"I just remembered that. But mark my words, it will getting messy as worse as you can think of when you include that traitor in your group.", Stella throwing her face from me with disgust.

On the other side, William looking at Kael's emblem that I currently holding on.

"The death of Aeron the Vengeance had well known because of Kael great fight. Looking at the emblem, I understand there's something deeper than that, and it related with you, Alstair.", William smiled at me.

"I don't know what to say, but it's better to ask Kael directly if you curious about this.", I replied while showing the emblem to William.

"Sure, sure. Feel free for the hidden dungeon, Alstair. Eventually there's lot of hidden dungeon that we he covered. Not only Winstein that assigned for this hidden dungeon. There also other group of Knights in several hidden dungeon.", William explains.

Oh, there's lot of hidden dungeon actually.

No matter how many hidden dungeon I had to explore, as long as it will give me a light to heal my mother,

I will go!

"Hey, Alstair. There's also our new friend that will join our mission.", Winstein said that make me shifted my attention toward the girl, probably in her early 20, wearing the most prestigious Knight mantle and armor that only A-rank Knight with lot of money can buy and use it.

The young girl, smiled at me with oddly passionate face.

"She's the Rank B Knight Tanker. Her name is Avyanna.", Winstein introduced her.

As me and Avyana hold hand, introducing our selves each other, I just realize Avyanna is a bit of tall, probably have a few height difference with me.

Avyanna?

One of the conglomerate's and Knight's Executives daughter: Sir Aldwin?

If I'm not mistaken, her family had strong influence of politics in the country and she, somehow, elevate it political influence by joining Knights.

Well, that explain how she just being a B-rank Knight, but having fancy and expensive Knight's arsenal that usually used by high tier of A-rank Knight.

Despite her prestigious arsenal, I just realized she look overly passionate, mixed with nervousness.

It seems she forced herself to go to this mission.

I hope my assumption is false.

"Alstair, nice to meet you. I know there's lot of bad news about you, but I believe you're on the right side as a Knight!", Avyanna said with optimistic face.

"Thank you," I said with a simple nod.

I can feel her words is genuine.

The only problem I had is Winstein and his henchmen.

I mean, of course I should thanked them foe helping me to join the mission, but there's something suspicious that I can feel it from their forced smile.
