"All this time, I, and possibly Dan, have been using only the 'Mastered Abilities'..." Arabel came to this conclusion after carefully examining the "Path of Magic" window once more.

Of the five elements, she most often used only ice. Darkness followed it, and only occasionally did she use the energy of madness.

"I had water element initially, but I didn't attach much importance to it and hardly used it. And Space is a new element that I got thanks to the contract with Octo," Arabel's gaze fell on the black fox cub, who was sleeping peacefully in her arms with Coco.

Arabel noticed that all the "System Abilities" of her ice element were duplicated in the list of "Mastered abilities". All the abilities were at the highest possible level that she could achieve at the current stage of the world's growth.

"I don't remember practicing all these abilities..." Arabel muttered, trying to figure out how everything worked and how the levels were rising.

"Only if..." speculation quickly appeared in her mind as to why her understanding of the ice element was so deep, and almost all abilities were of the third level.

"It must have migrated along with the memories of the First Ascension trial, when I had the Ice Valkyrie System."

Arabel came to this conclusion when she reviewed the list of abilities, she also possessed during her first Ascension trial.

"As for the element of Darkness, everything is quite complicated here..." she thought, moving from the element of ice to the element of darkness.

"I gained a deep understanding of the element of darkness through the symbiotic creature, as well as through the bloodline of the Dark Phoenix and the Dark Valkyrie. And finally, the phenomenon of the elder sister also helped."

Arabel regretted a little that she did not dare to check the "Path of Magic" window after she received her second Dark Phoenix Bloodline and even after acquiring the Dark Valkyrie bloodline. She wanted to assess how much benefit she had received from the Sierra phenomenon.

Right now, no matter how she looked at it, all but one of the Darkness Element's abilities had reached the maximum third level.

Surprisingly, all the "System Abilities" of the element of Darkness also appeared in the "Mastered abilities" section. This means that even if the System becomes unavailable again, Arabel will be able to make full use of these abilities.

"Only 'Absorption' has level 1 in the 'Mastered Abilities' list," Arabel remarked.

To find out exactly what this ability can do, Arabel opened its description.

"Oh! So, this ability helps me replenish mana faster!" Arabel was delighted. She then opened the description of "Level 3 Absorption", which was in "System Abilities".

"Oh!" — Arbel exclaimed after reading the description. With a slight hint of doubt, she reread it again. "What a huge difference! If at the first level I could only absorb energy from the outside world, then at the third level I am able to absorb energy from anything, even from my enemies!"

Comparing the same ability at different levels, Arabel thought about it.:

"Why exactly did 'Absorption' remain at the first level even though the others had reached the third?"

After some thought, she found the answer to her own question: it was the Dark Valkyrie's flaw.

A problem that even a Legendary Valkyrie like Sierra faced.

"I need to be careful with this ability," Arabel muttered.

Madness was next after darkness.

Madness was even more difficult than darkness.

"There are only four abilities available, and unlike the others, [Madness Creating – Level 3] does not have a detailed list of abilities," Arabel sighed, paying attention to the remaining three available abilities and three more hidden ones.

"These abilities are probably unavailable because the memories of the second Ascension Trial were sealed by the system," Arabel suggested.

She then quickly scanned through the ability descriptions:

[Madness Immunity (level 3): An ability that allows the Host to resist the influence of the Energy of Madness while maintaining sanity and integrity.]

[Boosted by Madness (level 3): Enhance the stats of the Host with the energy of madness.]

[Madness Gaze (level 3): An ability that allows a Host to instill madness into a chosen target with just a glance.]

"Immunity is more like a passive ability, but I've already used Boosted by Madness when I rescued awakened ones captured by the Womskinner race and fought a Diamond—ranked Womskinner," Arabel recalled recent events.

When it came to the last, fourth ability, Arabel thought for a while before saying:

"However, I haven't used the 'Madness Gaze' yet..."

After finishing with the element of madness, her attention shifted to the elements of water and space.

As for the element of water, it was similar to the element of ice, and Arabel realized that it would only take practice to master it. The same could be said about the element of Space, which she had the most superficial understanding of.

In addition to all this, the "Path of Magic" was also influenced by Arabel's bloodline.

"When I transform into an Ice Valkyrie, the rank of the element of Ice increases from the 3rd rank of Magic Elite Disciple to the 4th rank of Wizard, and the abilities level increases by 1 level, reaching level 4," Arabel remarked.

"Similar changes occur with the elements of Darkness and Madness when I transform into a Dark Valkyrie and a Mad Valkyrie."

"In addition, the elements of Ice, Darkness, and Madness have unique abilities [Elemental Fusion for Enhancement – Level 3] that allow me to enhance by merging two or three different elements into one," this ability was not new to Arabel.

She and Idan had already used it before when they enhanced their Ice and Fire elements, and the same ability lay in the fact that their Spirit Forms had other additional forms by merging the elements.

After carefully studying the "Path of Magic" while waiting for the "Reset" and the restoration of the ability to teleport, Arabel decided to devote some time to studying the elements of water and space.

She wanted to understand how to "master" these elements and raise her ability levels.

But first, she decided to give the two little foxes some more sleep.
