Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 500: It might work

"So, Milena's condition leaves much to be desired, and she's about to lose touch with her System.", — Arabel thought, summing up her observations of Milena's condition.

Then she opened the task window and carefully studied his requirements again.:

[Task: Find out the current condition of Milena Orleans and, if necessary, provide her with assistance. The reward will depend on the difficulty of the task.]

"I need to not only find out about her condition, but also find a way to help her?" — Arabel wondered.

"The main problem lies in her bloodlines," she noted again, realizing the key reason for Milena's current condition. "And maybe once she loses her human bloodline, she'll lose her System, too. Am I right, System?"

[Yes, Host, you're right], her System confirmed her guess.

"But, System, why would the loss of her human bloodline lead to the loss of her System? Does this mean that if Arslan, Irene, and the others also change their bloodlines, they will also lose their Systems?" Arabel asked.

[It depends on which System a particular Host has], was the reply.

[To give an example, your subordinate who has a Dragon System cannot change her bloodline to another one unrelated to dragons, otherwise she will lose her System], the System explained.

[This also applies to your pet's subordinate. If she changes her bloodline to another one unrelated to the foxes, she will also lose touch with her System], the System added.

"Ah, I get it. So, Milena has a System that is closely related to her human ancestry?" concluded Arabel, realizing the essence.

[Yes and no. In her case, the loss of a human bloodline and its replacement with a bloodline from an incomplete World of Darkness and Light is the reason for the loss of her System. Her System does not accept and rejects the bloodline from this world.]

"So that's how it is," Arabel nodded, having received answers to her questions. "And how can I help her? Should I give a bloodline potion and change her bloodline to one that meets the requirements of her System?"

But after thinking about it, Arabel gave up on the idea.

"Her condition is already at its limit, and changing her bloodline when her own is in such chaos is likely to only worsen her condition and could lead to her death."

Arabel stood in front of Milena's room window for a while longer, trying to figure out how to help her. She was convinced that the System would not give her a direct answer to this question.

"I can, of course, use the "Trade" function and make a public order to learn from other Supreme Systems how to help Milena. I'm sure a System like the Supreme Bloodline System knows the solution to this problem," Arabel thought.

"Wait a minute," she suddenly remembered. "The problem lies in the second bloodline. We just need to get rid of her."

"System," — Arabel called out and quickly outlined her option to help Milena to find out if it would work or not.

Arabel was confident that although her System would not give her a direct answer on how to help Milena, she could confirm whether her idea was viable.

[It might work], the System confirmed.

"Yes!" exclaimed Arabel with joy. She was happy that she had finally found a solution on her own to help Milena.

It was a completely new feeling for Arabel, who usually always listened to Idan's opinion and followed his plans.

However, after a while, she pulled herself together and resolutely set about the matter.

"And what should I do next?" she asked herself. "Should I kidnap Milena or talk to her first?"

Arabel could just take Milena away by force and then bring her back, but at the same time completely deprive her of consciousness so that she would not find out what happened to her and who helped her. It would be the way of a simple good Samaritan.

The second idea was simpler: Arabel could talk to Milena and get her opinion. Unlike the first option, she could have demanded something in return for help.

After all, the method Arabel found was not free, but a little expensive. And considering that the couple didn't have many System Points left, Arabel was leaning towards the second option.

Sighing and making a decision, Arabel put on a Ghost Mask and, taking the form of Elsa, opened the window with the help of the Power of the Soul. She went inside and immediately closed the window behind her.

The sudden opening and closing of the window attracted the attention of Milena, who had been lying motionless and looking up all this time. But just like before, she didn't say a word.

"You look like shit," a woman's voice was heard, and immediately after that, a black fog appeared inside Milena's room. Arabel emerged from it in the form of Elsa, dressed in the uniform of her Guild.

Milena's curiosity got the better of her, and she glanced at Arabel.

"Allow me to introduce myself, Miss Milena Orleans," Arabel said, taking off her big hat. "My name is Elsa, and I am also known as the Duchess of Darkness from the Guild known as the Kingdom."

Arabel gave her name, and although Milena's expression barely changed, there was a flicker of surprise.

"Milena Orleans, let me get right to the point," Arabel said after introducing herself. "I have an offer for you."

Milena, hearing this, just rolled her eyes and, without looking at Arabel, turned her gaze back to the ceiling.

"What the hell!" — Arabel cursed to herself, noticing Milena's reaction.

In recent days, Milena was tired of the endless stream of strange guests who came one after another, sometimes even several times a day, and tried to offer her questionable treatments.

Milena was well aware of her condition and understood that not everyone could help her. Although these people sounded confident in their abilities, her own System, whose connection was getting weaker every day, asked her every time to reject these strange and suspicious offers.

When Milena heard that Arabel, acting as Elsa, wanted to offer her something, she immediately became wary and thought that this was another dubious offer, and decided to ignore her.

"Ugh," — Arabel sighed, slightly annoyed by Milena's reaction.

"Milena," she called. "Let me ask you something."

"Do you regret being saved?"

"Huh?" — Milena suddenly exclaimed, staring at Arabel. It was the first time she had made a sound, and Arabel was surprised.

"I know what your problem is and how to solve it," Arabel confessed.

Then, right in front of Milena's eyes, her black hair began to move, twisting as if alive. Seeing this, Milena's calm and indifferent gaze was filled with fear and horror.
