Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 464: At the Barrier

"We're here, the way is closed," Arslan announced, parking the SUV among many other cars.

According to Idan and Arabel's first impressions, the distance to the barrier was quite long.

"So many people, — Arabel was surprised, looking at the assembled crowd.

"Even after a disaster, it's not every day you see such a sight," Irene said, gazing in awe at the huge barrier.

Arabel nodded in agreement.

"Is it my imagination, or is this barrier a little smaller than the dark one?" she asked, unsure of her observations.

"No, it doesn't seem that way, it's really smaller," Irene confirmed.

Most of the people gathered here were ordinary mortals who had traveled a long way to see the barrier with their own eyes, rather than watching it through TV screens and smartphones.

Before getting out of the car, Arslan and Irene put on caps and sunglasses, hiding their identity.

Evening was approaching, and the sun had barely begun to sink to the horizon.

"It's impressive," — Idan said, getting out of the SUV and turning his gaze back to the barrier, standing slightly away from the crowd and the fence.

"I agree," Arabel agreed.

"Not only is the barrier itself impressive, but also how the Federation and the Association were able to create such a large—scale fence and base in such a short time," numerous technical facilities, modular buildings, antennas and scarves could be seen in the distance behind the fence.

"This is the main base. The barrier is a dome, and around it there are small bases that serve to monitor the barrier and protect the territory," Irene shared additional information.

"And what's next? Why did you have to come here?" Irene asked the couple again. Back at the hotel, she asked why they had come, and her brother replied that they wanted to check something.

Instead of answering, Idan began to wake Coco up: "Come on, little girl, get up."

With some reluctance, Coco opened her eyes and stretched, yawning and opening her small mouth.

Arslan was the most surprised of the four. Everyone except him could see Coco's little fox, who was snuggled up on Idan's shoulders.

"Coco, introduce yourself to your mistress's younger brother," Idan said to Coco, taking her off his shoulder.

Coco blinked at Arslan, and then took off her disguise, presenting herself in front of him. Arslan, surprised by the sudden appearance of a little fox in Idan's arms, was charmed and, like everyone else, found her charming and sweet.

"This is Coco— our little scoundrel and a big lover of sweets," Idan introduced with a smile. Hearing the sweet, Coco's ears twitched in anticipation.

"Thank her, Arslan," — Arabel said, stepping forward. "Thanks to Coco, I managed to come to your aid in time back in the North."

"What? Really?" — Arslan was amazed. Arabel nodded, and looking at her serious face, Arslan realized that she was not joking.

"Thank you very much," Arslan thanked the little fox, feeling a little awkward.

Coco didn't seem to notice his gratitude at all. Her eyes were fixed on Idan, waiting for a treat.

"Here you go, Coco," Idan drawled, extracting a candy from his spatial ring.

When Coco saw that it was an ordinary candy and not a lollipop, her mood soured a little, but she took the treat anyway and immediately put it in her mouth.

"Okay, Coco, from now on, keep a close eye on our surroundings so as not to miss the appearance of outside observers," Idan asked. "When we're done here and you've fulfilled my request, I'll give you a lollipop."

As always, this trick worked, and Coco, perking up, began to carefully inspect the area in search of possible danger and outsiders watching them.

"Let's go," he called, and everyone followed him, moving a little further away from the crowd.

Once in a secluded spot, away from the crowd and the fences, Idan looked at Arabel.

"Well, Belle, can you handle it?" he asked, and Arabel smiled back.

"I think it's worth a try," she said, and in front of her younger brother Arslan and Irene, her purple hair turned a deep black shade, as did her eyes. At the same time, four jet-black large wings appeared behind her back.

Arslan couldn't find the words to describe the changes that had happened to his sister.

"Is that her Valkyrie form?" asked Irene in surprise.

"Yes, sister, this is the Valkyrie's bloodline," Idan confirmed with a smile. "To be more precise, it's the bloodline of the Dark Valkyrie."

"The Dark Valkyrie?" — Irene was amazed. "Didn't she have the bloodline of an Ice Valkyrie?"

"Hehe, sister, Arabel already has three different Valkyrie bloodlines, so don't be surprised, and there will only be more in the future," — Idan shared, surprising Arslan and Irene.

"Not only me, but Dan also has several Alpha bloodlines," Arabel decided to reveal Idan's secret, enjoying the reaction of her brother and sister-in-law.

Irene and Arslan became more and more surprised by this couple. They began to doubt themselves. Why did their System turn out to be so amazing, unlike their own?

At the same time, their Systems were trying to figure out what kind of System these two had.

Before Irene and Arslan could recover, Arabel enveloped everyone with her power of darkness to hide them. Seizing everyone with her Soul Force, she soared into the sky.

After turning into a dark Valkyrie, Arabel acquired a weak version of Sierra's concealment ability. But even this weak version was enough to hide everyone from the ordinary eyes of the military and the awakened of the Golden rank.

Without raising an alarm and avoiding patrols, Arabel, dragging the others with her, first flew over the fence, and then covered the distance to the barrier itself, landing neatly right in front of it.

Irene and Arslan's hearts were racing. It was their first experience of such a flight. In their world, they were used to airplanes, but in Junonia they only managed to ride on the back of a large flying beast a couple of times.

However, the feeling of being transported in the air by the Soul Force was completely different. All the way, Irene and Arslan prayed that Arabel would not loosen her grip and let them out of her arms.

While their relatives were trying to recover from their ordeal, Idan and Arabel approached the barrier.

The couple could clearly feel the powerful streams of energy emanating from the barrier and belonging to the elements of fire, ice, light and darkness. This energy filled the entire space around the barrier. One could even notice how the flora began to change under the influence of such a powerful stream.

They exchanged glances and wasted no time touching him at the same time. They expected something to happen, but to their surprise, nothing happened.

The barrier was warm and hard to the touch. With a little effort, they felt a mysterious force pushing them away, preventing them from entering. The more force they applied; the stronger the barrier's resistance was.

"Did we make a mistake?" Arabel asked, turning to Idan. She already knew what Idan was going to check out, and she was looking forward to this moment, hoping that his assumptions would turn out to be correct.

Idan did not immediately respond. After some consideration, he decided to assume his Alpha of Fire form.

The brown hair of his Ignis disguise turned red with sparks of flame, as did his eyes.

After transforming into the Alpha of Fire, Idan felt a familiar call and looked at Arabel with excitement:

"Take on your Ice Valkyrie form."

Arabel, seeing his excitement, listened to his words and changed her Dark Valkyrie bloodline to the Ice Valkyrie bloodline.

"Is that what I'm thinking?" she asked excitedly, also feeling the familiar call.

Idan didn't answer, just smiled.

"Let's get together?" He offered, and Arabel nodded.

And they both took on their Spirit Forms.

At the same moment, there was a rumble, and ripples passed through the barrier, as if the barrier had recognized them.
