Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 451: The third contract?

"But it doesn't look like breakfast," — Idan remarked, turning to Arabel. "You really surprised me with that."

"Don't be like that," — Arabel said. "We are no longer mere mortals, and we should not cling to the beliefs of the old world."

Shaking his head, Idan sat down on the seat prepared for him with a smile.

Arabel started serving him right away. The first thing she did was pour him a fragrant and rich soup. This was followed by the second course, a vegetable stew with the meat of a golden —ranked beast. And finally, a dessert of fruits from another world completed the meal.

Arabel also took care of the drinks, choosing them from the hotel's mini-bar.

One by one, Idan happily devoured the dishes Arabel had prepared, savoring each one. These treats were unlike the ones they had recently tried at the Rumbus City restaurant. The ingredients alone were worth it!

It was especially valuable that all these dishes were prepared by a girl he liked, and especially for him. This fact only increased his delight in the delicious food.

"How's it going?" Arabel asked, sitting down across from him.

"Delicious, it was incredibly delicious!" said Idan with sincere praise, and his stomach completely shared this opinion.

Arabel, hearing such flattering words, could not help but smile. Idan, looking at this, found her joyful and sincere smile very sweet.

Pleased with herself, Arabel poured herself some food and, under Idan's gaze, began to eat breakfast.

When they were done, they washed the dishes together, leaving some food for Hailey and their temporary hostage Ariya. Arabel had prepared enough food to feed everyone. Even the little fox got a small portion, and she sat on the sidelines, watching the interaction of her Masters.

They poured themselves a drink and sat down at the table opposite each other.

"I see you've achieved success and formed a third Star?" asked Idan, taking a sip.

"Yes," Arabel nodded. "Now it only remains to decide on the third contract."

"Well, about that..." said Idan, looked at Coco and called out, "Coco, come here."

Hearing the Master's call, Coco jumped lightly and landed on the table between them.

"Get it out," Idan asked, and Coco immediately understood what the Master meant. She took off her backpack and through a small crack pulled out a dark mysterious egg, slightly larger than its size.

Arabel watched with interest, and when Coco took out a dark egg, she was surprised.

Looking more closely, she felt a certain attraction to it.

Seeing Arabel's interest in the egg, Idan smiled.

"This is one of the rewards I received from the System after completing the task it gave me to kill Kraus," Idan shared, explaining where this egg came from.

"Coco's had the egg all this time," Idan added, looking at Coco, who was hugging the egg tenderly.

Arabel could hardly contain her laughter as she watched this scene, which seemed so funny to her.

"And I thought that since the word 'dark' is in the name of the egg, and you have an affinity for the element of darkness, it would be perfect for your third contract," Idan suggested.

Idan's words echoed in her mind, and Arabel fully shared his point of view.

She could feel this mysterious attraction coming from the egg.

"As Dan suggested, it seems that the egg resonates with my affinity to the element of darkness," Arabel thought, without taking her eyes off the egg.

Out of curiosity, she used the "Eye of identification" to examine the egg.

**Identification:**

Name: Mysterious Dark Egg

Rarity: Epic (+)

Race: ???

Random information: Mysterious Dark Egg

"Epic?" exclaimed Arabel when she saw the rarity of the egg.

"Yes, and we have the opportunity to improve it if we had the necessary resources," Idan replied.

"But it's very valuable, don't you want it yourself?" — Arabel hesitated.

Idan shook his head.

"I have no affinity for the element of darkness," he said. "Besides, it will take us a long time to accumulate enough System Points to purchase the legendary resource needed to strengthen this egg. And by then, we probably won't have time to deal with this egg."

"The egg will not hatch into an adult beast, but into a cub that needs time to grow up. Therefore, I suggest that we do not delay and take advantage of the opportunity while it is there," Idan suggested. "As for the beast that will hatch, I'm sure we'll find a way to strengthen it in the future."

Arabel did not immediately put aside her doubts, although deep down she really wanted to accept the offer.

"Oh, Belle," — Idan called. "We have so many things in common, even a common pet." With that, his gaze fell on Coco, who was still gently hugging the egg.

"Moreover, as I said before, it suits you perfectly. So, stop doubting and accept it," Idan asked.

"Well, if you insist so much, then I will gladly accept it," Idan's words convinced her, and Arabel agreed with a smile, putting aside all doubts.

"As Dan said, we already have a lot in common. There's even a common adopted daughter," Arabel thought, reaching for the egg.

"Should I wait for it to hatch, or what?" she asked, taking the egg in her hands. Coco, circling the egg, watched her closely.

"System, correct me if I'm wrong, but surely the egg won't hatch until one of us signs a contract with it?" asked Idan.

[Host, you're right. The egg was received as a reward, and until the Host signs the contract, it will not hatch.]

"Well, you just need to sign the contract, and then maybe we'll see what kind of beast is hiding behind this shell," Idan said, not hiding his interest in finding out what kind of beast is hiding inside.

Arabel nodded, looking forward to seeing the mysterious creature's cub.

However, Arabel had no time to sign the contract when the internal phone rang. Idan and Arabel tensed at the same time and looked at each other with alarm.

"Let's wait for a more appropriate moment," Arabel said, handing the egg to Coco and asking her to hold it a little longer. Coco happily agreed.

Idan sauntered over to the phone and picked up the receiver.

"Yes," he replied.

Arabel also answered the phone and was looking forward to hearing the details. When she saw Idan's frown, she immediately frowned.

"Who dares to disturb our peace at such an early hour?" Arabel mentally gritted her teeth.

Idan hung up the phone and looked at Arabel. When he saw her mood, he realized that he was in a bad mood himself.

"We have a guest coming up," Idan said softly.

"Who?" — Arabel asked in a dissatisfied voice. Idan noticed how the subtle energy of the element of darkness began to gather around her, mixed with purple-pink energy.

"Phew..." sighed Idan. But then he said, "Felicia."
