Chapter 440: Candy, candy, candy
Irene couldn't hold back her tears; a smile of joy and relief appeared on her face. Finally, her worry for her younger brother, which had lasted for more than ten painful days, was over.
As soon as Irene had finished crying and pulled herself together, Esma continued:
"Are you familiar with the Leader of the Red Fox Guild?"
Hearing this unexpected question, Irene and Arslan exchanged glances, then both nodded.
"Little sister and Idan are currently returning on the Red Fox Guild plane. They haven't revealed their true identity yet, hiding under a different guise. It seems like the girls from the Guild have started to suspect something, and Little sister asks you to contact their Guild Leader and ask them to stop them before they spread any rumors about them."
"Okay, I'll contact her and resolve this issue," Irene said, taking out her smartphone to find the number she needed.
"Ask your sister which airport they are flying to. I'll go there and meet them," Arslan suggested.
"I'll go with you!" exclaimed Esma, but Arslan shook his head, "No."
When he saw that Irene also wanted to go with him, he said, "Irene, stay. I'll handle it myself, and you and Esma will look after Aran and the others."
Upon hearing her son's name, Irene restrained her impulses and nodded, agreeing with his words. She also remembered that besides Aran, there were three other individuals who needed to be closely monitored.
Esma pouted, but then, remembering that Arabel had assigned her to look after those three, she quickly gave up. If she left them unattended, they could easily escape, and neither Irene nor the others would be able to stop them.
"Wait, Arslan," Esma stopped him. "Take Bera with you. Nothing will happen to me here, but as long as the relationship between the Guilds, the Association, and the government remains tense, anything can happen."
Arslan thought for a moment, and then nodded, agreeing with Esma's opinion. Irene also supported this idea.
"I'll get her now," Esma said. Thanks to her connection with Arabel, who had recovered, Esma was able to communicate with Bera.
Soon, a small dark figure that looked like a domestic cat came out of the dark corner of the kitchen.
"Meow," Bera meowed, echoing the domestic cats she sometimes watched.
No matter how much Irene looked at Behr, she couldn't stop admiring her.
"Okay, then I'll go," Arslan told the girls.
After receiving a nod from them, he turned and walked away.
Bera hesitated a little in the form of a cat and followed him. For some reason, she didn't want to leave the little boy unattended. She was so used to her mistress's errand that she didn't want to leave the little boy unattended.
After seeing Arslan off, Irene turned her attention back to her smartphone. When she found the right number, she dialed it without hesitation.
It took only two rings before her call was answered.
"Irene?" came a surprised female voice.
"Felicia, — Irene called. "I'm sorry to bother you at this time, but I have business with you."
Leaving Irene to run Arabel's errand, Esma returned to her room on the second floor. After going inside and settling comfortably on the big soft bed, she took out her smartphone and was about to continue watching the video, no longer worrying about her younger sister.
However, she soon frowned.
"Something's wrong," she muttered. Then she quickly turned over and crouched down, carefully examining the room.
It took her a few seconds to realize.
"Where's Coco?" she asked, unable to find the little fox cub that hadn't left her side, following her everywhere since Idan and Arabel disappeared inside the portal.

"I've contacted Esme," Arabel told Idan, using a mental link. "My brother has returned safely to the capital and is currently staying at your home with Irene."
"I asked Esma to let them both know that we are fine, and I also asked her to tell Irene to contact the Leader of the Red Fox Guild," Arabel added.
"Great," Idan nodded with relief.
"We're already close to the capital," Hailey reminded them, approaching them. Idan and Arabel nodded back.
"Ever since we stopped in another city to refuel, the girls have been acting strangely. It looks like they've already contacted the Guild Leader," Hailey said worriedly.
Idan and Arabel, in turn, did not leave the plane during refueling, keeping their smartphones turned off. They knew that as soon as they got closer to the capital, Arabel would be able to contact Esma and notify everyone that they were okay.
"There's no need to worry about that, — Arabel said with confidence. "We had already anticipated this turn of events and asked someone to contact your guild leader."
"Huh?" said Hailey, surprised, and then sighed with relief.
"Well, that's all right then," she said, and returned to her seat.
Soon, when they were already close to the capital, a small rift suddenly opened in front of Idan. A small gray ball of fur jumped out of him at high speed and hit Idan's chest with force, knocking all the air out of him.
After a hard blow, Idan caught a fluffy ball, already knowing who it was. Even though the impact was palpable, a smile appeared on his face when he saw the little fox cub.
"Woo-woo-woo, — Coco purred happily, making squeaky noises and vigorously wagging her little tail. Idan was even a little scared that Coco's tail might break away from such activity.
Coco clung to Idan without stopping making noise.
Arabel, watching them, smiled too, and then turned her gaze to Hailey and the other girls. She noticed that they weren't paying attention to them, and realized that Coco was taking full advantage of her distracting ability.
"Coco, it's good to see you too," Idan said, gently stroking and lightly scratching the fox cub's chin.
"Coco," Arabel called, and the fox cub, hearing her name, instantly turned to her and froze.
"And me? Did you miss me?" Arabel asked with sadness in her voice.
Coco raised her eyes and, as if seeking advice on what to do, looked at Idan.
"Go, the mistress missed you too," Idan said, and Coco jumped from his arms into Arabel's arms without hesitation.
"Hehe, Coco," Arabel said with a wide smile, gently hugging the fox cub. At first, Coco shuddered slightly, but, catching the sincere joy of the hostess, she began to actively wag her tail again and make joyful sounds, expressing her joy.
When Arabel used the mental link with Coco, her mind was instantly filled with the voice of a little girl.
"Candy, candy, candy, I'm finally getting candy!"
Arabel's face froze, and the corners of her lips twitched.
"Has this little rascal been thinking only about sweets all this time?" flashed through her mind.
