Kritos led the way with the fire in his hand and Sam was with him.

This passage was in such a way that not a single ray of sunlight fell in it.

Upon conversing with Sam, Kritos learned the name of his sect, it was called the West Edge sect.

It was a sub-branch of the True Edge Sword Sect, which is located in an isolated place.

The primary sects were mostly located outside of any Kingdom. It may be an entire mountain area or a deserted area.

Nevertheless, they have their own rules, they don't follow the rules of any Kingdom.

Some of the small kingdoms may be under these main sects.

Branch sects were made to cover the vast area and absorb the genius into the main sect.

The fights between the sects are fierce.

Sanju was in the sect which is degraded in such a way that there exists only the Main Sect. Anyway, it is better than those Sub-branch sects.

When they reached halfway through the passage, suddenly a cold wave of air extinguished the small fireball. 

Kritos shook his head and again tried to form a fireball. However, it heard some weird sounds.

Darkness engulfed the entire place and he felt something weird was happening here.

So, Kritos quickly attempts to light up the area by forming a medium-size fireball. However, he failed.

Kritos again attempted to use fire elements, but it wasn't working. Even the shadow element wasn't functioning.

"What the fu*k is happening here? Why am I unable to use my elements?" Kritos frustratedly asks.

Kritos moves towards Sam in expectation of his answer. However, he saw nobody on his side.

"Sam!"

Kritos looked around him but still didn't find a trace of Sam there. 

"Sam! Where are you?" 

Kritos was worried, he doesn't understand what is going on here. 

Regardless of fire, Kritos could see in the dark through the Night Vision trait. 

Even then he wasn't able to find Sam. It was like he disappeared from his spot.

At last, Kritos saw something in the far darkness that looked like three balls of fire.

These fireballs were in the passageway from where he entered before.

Kritos was confused and puzzled by this weird situation. He couldn't use elements in this place, but some people were able to.

Moreover, Sam was missing.

At that moment, his heart tensed up as the hair along his neck stood up.

This was an intense premonition of danger!

Kritos could sense it was coming from the front.

And in this premonition, no scene had surfaced in Kritos's mind!

Not good! Kritos instantly found his heart wrapped in layers of shadows as everything before his eyes seemed to be covered in a layer of dark glass.

Without the luxury of time to consider what was happening, Kritos quickly activated Shadow form.

This place only restricts his Elemental power.

His figure turned invisible, Kritos decided to stay motionless. He already felt something is weird here.

On his back, 4 people are coming and in his front, something ominous is waiting for him. It is better to remain Motionless and wait for them.

All of a sudden, a huge boulder approximately wide as the passage hastily approaching him from the front.

There wasn't a little space in between the building and boulder to avoid it.

"What the fuck!"

Kritos was still in the weak stage and almost 2 hours were remaining before his strength would return to normal.

This huge boulder wasn't something, Kritos could handle with his current strength.

At that moment, he suddenly felt his heart palpitate as his body began to tremble involuntarily.

The appearance of the huge boulder was terrifying to him!

Noticing he couldn't avoid it, Kritos quickly activated Devil Hand Transformation.

Kritos right hand began expanding and his skin started turning black. while his fingers turned into black claws. It was so sharp that could pierce through a Rank 9 Apprentice Realm cultivator body directly.

Finger, palm Kritos's entire right-hand transforms into a Devil's hand.

The heartbeats and the speed begins to return to normal.

"Roaaar!" Kritos roared after he finished his transformation.

He could feel the surge of power in his right hand. It almost doubles his right hand strength.

The unbalanced strength of his body makes Kritos hard to control the entire body.

It was the reason why he wasn't willing to use this ability. Rather than an advantage, it will bring more disadvantages. 

It is hard to fight while balancing body proportion. However, it is different in the case of Strength.

In the competition of Strength, this ability was quite good and at this moment, it is perfect. Although, it would be better if he was in normal condition rather than weak conditions. 

Still, Kritos was confident to create a hole in the boulder to escape from it.

Kritos stretched his transformed hands and slowly stood up.

However, Kritos doesn't know that due to the effect of the special flowers. He lowered his guard.

Kritos could feel there was poison in that dagger. Nonetheless, he doesn't fear it, <Blue Transition Body> was activated. Hence, the poison would be converted into a small amount of stats. It doesn't harm him.

As Kritos was catching his breath, he felt somebody is behind his back. 

Kritos jump in another direction, from where he could see both of them. Kritos intentionally goes close to the wall. It will help him from another abuse.

"Huh! I missed it." Manvi asserted.

There were two more youths on Manvi's side. 

Kritos has guessed that they also must be from the Vishwa Clan.

"It's ok, you will get another chance for it, Don't worry," Mayank replied.

At this moment, Kritos understand all this was planned by them and maybe Sam was also with them.

But he couldn't figure out why someone who had no enmity with him would be a part of their plan.

Nevertheless, Kritos doesn't have time to think about it.

"Manvi, what is the meaning behind this? You are so childish that you are taking revenge for a match." Kritos said.

"Childish! Hahaha, no, I just want to kill you for joy. The joy of killing a peasant who dares to disobey superior." Manvi smiled.

Kritos understands there is no way to escape alive without defeating them, but he was in a weak state. 

With the help of Devil hand ability, it is quite hard to battle with four people.

Moreover, Mayank was in Rank 3 of Foundation Realm and those two new guys were at a peak level of Apprentice Realm.

Kritos was only afraid of Mayank. Except for him, all of them don't possess a threat to him.
