Chapter 2123: What is his plan?
"She was close to completing the Body of Chaos."
Eternity revealed, and suddenly the air in the hall changed.
"…what?"
Darkness muttered, his voice much lower than before.
"Watch this."
Eternity answered, and suddenly, the scene in front of them changed.
[Come onnnn~~
Why did you stop talking!?
Don't tell me you are tired already~~
Or are you really that scared~~
You aren't scared, are you???]
The four Infinities saw Sharnoth laughing at Zarveth as her body released a ridiculous amount of Chaos Energy to overpower him and for an instant—
Heavy silence fell over the place.
After all, every single one of the Infinities could see it.
The Body of Chaos.
Yes, it was still incomplete, but as they continued watching the recording and more and more of that girl's skin came off, the more complete the body became.
"He really found another monster to succeed him…"
Balance muttered, somewhat taken aback.
Was he scared?
Well, not really.
Yes, the Body of Chaos was strong, but…
What was in front of him was incomplete, not to mention the girl was not the Chaos Progenitor Zylarith. Even if she somehow managed to complete the Body of Chaos, she wouldn't reach the level that monster had reached.
What did worry him, however, was that this meant Zylarith had succeeded.
And that wasn't good news.
"Do we know what his plan is?"
Light questioned. She seemed to be worried about the same thing. Yes, billions of years had passed since they defeated Zylarith, and in all these years, all of them had improved to some extent but—
Zylarith's existence was still a matter of concern.
The Infinities never liked how someone as dangerous as him was roaming freely. They tried to capture him multiple times, but it did not work.
And now, the man who had been avoiding them all this while was suddenly making a move, revealing what should be his most cherished disciple to them…
This did not make any sense, and it made the Infinities wary.
"We do not."
Eternity shook his head. Soon, however, his tone became solemn and—
"But I do have a theory."
The rest of the Infinities stayed silent, waiting for him to continue. He fast-forwarded the battle between Sharnoth and Zarveth, pointing out every time Sharnoth's skin was peeled off, and by the end, when Zarveth used the Infinity Relics to defeat her and the Anomaly appeared, he paused and—
"I believe that the Body of Chaos is made of the Energy of Chaos. This is the reason it is able to use all of the Universe's continuous Chaos without any limits."
"But that shouldn't be possible."
Balance frowned.
"No body can be made entirely of Energy. Any Energy needs matter to be st—"
He tried to counter, but Eternity once again shifted the screen back, focusing on the area where Sharnoth had no skin.
"That Black Purple glow beneath her skin—it comes from the physical condensation of Chaos."
He answered as suddenly, a purple-black-colored sphere appeared in the middle of the table, a sphere that had the same glow as whatever it was beneath Sharnoth's skin.
When the Infinities saw that, their expressions changed.
"I have been looking into it for a while and…
Chaos is one of the few energies that can be turned into physical matter, and because of that, it does not require matter."
Eternity explained.
"Of course, just creating this little sphere required quite a bit of effort. Keeping the energy as volatile as Chaos together, bound into a physical form, is nowhere near easy. So making an entire body out of just the Energy of Chaos should be extremely, extremely difficult but…"
"But it is possible."
Balance completed those words in a solemn tone, and once again, Eternity nodded.
"That is what Zylarith did all those years ago. As to how he did it, that I do not understand. He must have had quite a thorough understanding of Chaos—something far beyond what me or any being in the Universe can have."
"Are you saying that she has the same level of understanding as Zylarith?"
Light questioned, her voice clearly expressing her suspicion, and Eternity laughed at her words.
"Of course not."
He shook his head, clearing the misunderstanding.
"That girl is barely a hundred thousand years old. Even Zylarith himself did not have such a deep understanding of Chaos by then, and he was hailed as the strongest being in the history of the Universe.
I can say for certain that that girl is nowhere close to Zylarith's level. If I had to guess, then Zylarith must have helped her in some way, changing her body's constitution so her body has an easier time adapting or something along those lines.
He had billions of years to prepare—I am sure someone like him would have found a way."
Eternity answered. He did not hold back his praises when it came to Zylarith.
"So she is just someone Zylarith helped."
Light muttered, somewhat relieved, but…
"That does not reassure me."
Balance spoke. This time, his tone was far more solemn than before.
Darkness nodded at those words.
"That monster would not 'help' someone without any reason."
He spoke, his tone was quite grim as well.
"…"
Light remained silent.
She understood the seriousness of this matter as well.
"What is he planning then?"
She questioned. Once again, the three Infinities turned silent, waiting for Eternity to complete his theory, and after a slight pause, Eternity continued.
"I will say this again—that this is just a theory, and I do not have any way to prove my words."
"Just speak!"
Darkness groaned, annoyed.
"The Body of Chaos is made of Chaos Energy. Energy can only be controlled by the one who has the strongest understanding of that energy.
So…
If worse comes to worst, then once she completes her Body of Chaos…
Zylarith will have absolute control over her body and…
We will not be facing Zylarith's disciple, but Zylarith himself."
"…"
"…"
"…"
Silence.
Heavy silence fell over the place.
Once again, the Infinities recalled the final battle that lasted years and how difficult it was to take down that monster…
If…
If that monster was indeed back inside a new body…
The Infinities did not even wish to think what would happen then.
Again, yes, billions of years have passed, yes, all of them had gotten stronger than they were before, but…
Wouldn't Zylarith be the same?
He had the Power over Chaos.
The only Energy in the Universe that grows endlessly together with the Universe itself. While for billions of years, they face each other, keep each other in check, and try to expand their own influence on the Universe to get stronger,
The Chaos, no matter what happens, continues to grow.
So by the end, the more time passes, the stronger it would be.
Zylarith, at his prime, was already a monster who fought four Infinities on his own, then what about the current Zylarith? What if he reached the level he was before—this time, with the amount of Chaos Energy nearly twice as much as before,
Wouldn't he be… twice as strong…?
It was next to impossible to imagine how absurdly strong that monster was going to be.
But at the same time, Balance couldn't help but frown—
"Something does not add up."
The rest of the Infinities turned toward him and—
"Let's say you are right. All along, his plan was to indeed take over one of his disciple's bodies the moment he or she completes the Body of Chaos, but…
The Body of Chaos was only a part of his strength.
What about the World?"
Again, the Infinities became silent. Balance's words made sense. Yes, Zylarith was strong, absurdly strong, but… every existence needs a World to support them.
And…
Only Five Worlds in the entirety of the Universe can support an existence as strong as Zylarith.
The Five Supreme Worlds.
Even if Zylarith took over that girl's body, he wouldn't be able to break through the Infinity Stage without being connected to a Supreme World.
But…
There are no Supreme Worlds available for that.
There is no way the Zylarith in his current state would even dare to get close to the Four Supreme Worlds, since he knew he would be captured.
The only world left would be the reincarnation of the Chaosveil, but even then, getting connected to that world wouldn't be easy because he defends it.
The being who once protected the Anomaly from all four of them.
The Infinities hadn't forgotten about him.
They did not know how strong he was, but the very fact that he hadn't revealed his existence after that incident shows that he is quite cautious—and the last thing he would do would be to trust someone as suspicious as Zylarith.
So…
What was Zylarith's plan?
Was he going to take over one of the Supreme Worlds?
But that would only be possible if one of the five present Infinities perishes.
But for an Infinity to perish…
Zylarith would need something as big as a Universal War but…
The four Infinities did not see that happening—at least not anytime soon.
"Wait…"
Suddenly, Light called out, her tone much more different than before.
