Right there, sitting in his lap, were four gleaming rings—each one looking like it belonged on the hand of a billionaire celebrity showing off their "modest" jewelry collection.
Each ring was a masterpiece, a shining, thick band of diamond that practically glowed with power.
They weren't just shiny—they were blinding. At the center of each ring sat a diamond engraving, cut so precisely it looked like it could slice through reality itself.

Hugo's hands flew to his head, gripping his hair like he was trying to keep his brain from exploding. "WHAT?! ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW?!" he shouted, leaping to his feet.
He started pacing back and forth like a madman, his mind racing.
'Four EPIC-grade items? From the BASIC gift box wheel?! That's not luck; that's divine intervention! Did the Goddess of Luck just take pity on me?!'
He stopped mid-step, his eyes narrowing suspiciously. "Or… maybe she's scared of me now. Yeah, that's it. She saw me clearing the room and screaming like a lunatic, and she thought, 'Let's just throw him a bone before he completely loses it.'"
Hugo sat back down, still trembling with excitement, and clicked on the rings to inspect them further.
"Grants +1 stat to any stat… wait, I can change it anytime I want? And they last ten minutes if I wear all four?!"

His jaw dropped as he began connecting the dots. "Hold on. Hold on. If I add these stats to… Looks… Oh my god."
Hugo's eyes widened as he envisioned himself walking into a room, every girl fainting at the sheer power of his handsomeness.
"I already have a 7 in Looks. If I add 5 more stats… that's a 12!" He jumped up, grabbing the rings from his lap and slipping them onto his fingers.
He slid one onto each index and middle finger, holding his hands out in front of him.
"Damn," he muttered, admiring the way they sparkled in the dim light of his room. "I look like I just raided Icebox and told them to give me the most expensive stuff they had."
He flexed his fingers, feeling a subtle warmth spread through his hands. The rings didn't feel heavy or awkward—they felt powerful.
He instinctively knew how to activate them, like the knowledge had been uploaded straight into his brain.
"Alright," he said, grinning as he strode over to the mirror. "Let's see what happens when I add all five points to Looks."
He activated the rings, and a sudden rush of energy coursed through his body. His skin tingled, his face felt warm, and then—boom. The transformation hit like a truck.
Hugo gasped as he stared at his reflection. His jawline became sharper than a razor blade, his cheekbones high and perfectly sculpted.
His eyebrows thickened into a flawless arch, giving him a smouldering, intense look. His lips became full and soft, the kind of lips you'd see on a cologne model.
Even his hair seemed to shift, falling into place like he'd just stepped out of a salon.
"What… the… hell…" Hugo whispered, stepping closer to the mirror. His own reflection was so stunning, so utterly perfect, that it took him a second to process that it was actually him.
"This is a 12 in Looks?" he said, running a hand through his hair and marvelling at how silky it felt.
"No wonder celebrities look like they're not even real. I look like I just walked out of a romance novel cover!"
He struck a few poses, turning his head this way and that, admiring the way the light caught every angle of his new face.
"Oh man," he muttered, grinning like an idiot. "Lily's gonna have a heart attack when she sees me. Heck, every girl is gonna have a heart attack. I'll have to carry a defibrillator everywhere I go!"
As he imagined the endless possibilities—flirting, dating, girls fighting over him—Hugo couldn't stop smiling.
"This is it. This is my moment. From now on, I'm not just Hugo. I'm Handsome Hugo, the guy who can walk into a room and have every girl's attention."
He flexed one last time in the mirror, then turned back to his system screen, his confidence soaring.
"And what's more," he said, cracking his knuckles, "I've still got enough points to spin the Advanced Gift Box Wheel. Let's see what kind of legendary stuff I get from that bad boy!"
With a triumphant grin, Hugo clicked the button to open the advanced wheel. The glow of the screen lit up his face as the wheel began to spin, and he leaned back, ready for whatever came next.
