Kent's eyes fluttered open, greeted by the warm glow of the sun filtering through the tall, crystalline trees surrounding the garden.

The air hummed with the faint resonance of ancient magic, and a gentle breeze carried the scent of blooming Azura flowers that bordered the shrine. For the first time in weeks, Kent felt the weight of exhaustion lift, leaving behind a great strength simmering beneath his skin.

He sat up slowly, his muscles aching but responsive. The soft fabric of the bed brushed against his hands as he steadied himself, feeling the firmness of the ground beneath his bare feet. A faint scarlet light flickered from his fingertips, a remnant of his healing aura.

The shrine of eternal sands stood silent before him, its towering walls rising into the azure sky. Kent exhaled softly, allowing the tranquility of the garden to settle into his bones.

'The time for rest had passed; the moment for action had arrived.'

For three days, Kent wandered the perimeter of the shrine, tracing the intricate carvings etched into the stone with his fingertips. Each step felt purposeful, his eyes memorizing every crack and crevice, as if the shrine itself whispered ancient secrets only he could understand.

He marked the patterns of the stars above, calculating the passing days and aligning his observations with the lunar phases.

"One more day… Just one more day," Kent muttered, standing atop a small hill overlooking the shrine. The full moon would rise soon, and with it, the opportunity to unlock the mysteries buried within the shrine's heart.

By the third evening, as twilight stretched long shadows across the sand, Kent settled beneath the shade of a twisted silver tree.

The manual given to him by Grizzac rested in his lap, its leather-bound cover worn from hours of study. He turned the pages delicately, eyes scanning the faded ink detailing the shrine's inner workings, dangers, and rituals.

"The four cauldrons must be lit under the full moon's gaze, each with flames of unique origin," Kent read aloud. "Only by aligning the cauldrons with the lunar cycle can the gateway to the shrine's heart be unveiled."

Kent leaned back against the tree trunk, digesting the information carefully. His gaze shifted towards the four massive cauldrons at each corner of the shrine. Towering like ancient sentinels, they loomed over the landscape, their hollow interiors waiting to be filled with sacred flames.

He wasted no time. Rising to his feet, Kent retrieved the phoenix cauldron from his spatial ring, its golden surface shimmering under the moonlight. He placed it gently on the ground before him, forming a triangle with his hands as he began to channel his fire mana.

Threads of dark flame sparked to life, swirling around his palms before pouring into the cauldron. The mixture hissed, releasing a plume of shimmering vapor.

With practiced movements, Kent crushed a handful of spirit herbs into fine powder, sprinkling them over the flame. A soft golden glow enveloped him as he crafted several healing potions, the arcane symbols on the cauldron lighting up in response.

One by one, he drank the elixirs, feeling the restorative energy flood his veins, knitting together the fractures in his spirit.

As the last drop disappeared, Kent closed his eyes, savoring the sensation of his strength returning in full. A pulse of raw energy coursed through him, burning away the lingering weakness.

By the time Kent stood, the full moon hung at the centre of the sky, its silver light illuminating the desert sands in ghostly brilliance. The shrine of eternal sands basked in the moon's glow, its walls shimmering faintly like molten glass.

Kent ascended slowly, his feet leaving the ground as he hovered high above the shrine. Twin flames erupted from his palms, swirling and crackling with divine power. His gaze locked onto the eastern cauldron, its black surface gleaming in anticipation.

"Origin Nirvanic Flames," Kent whispered, guiding the scarlet fire towards the cauldron. The flames flowed like liquid silk, filling the vessel until it overflowed with burning brilliance. A deep hum resonated across the shrine as the cauldron absorbed the fire, igniting the inscriptions along its surface.

Kent turned towards the western cauldron, summoning tendrils of purple alchemy flame to his fingertips. The flames crackled as they left his hands, engulfing the vessel in a cascade of violet light. The cauldron trembled, locking into place as ancient runes flickered to life along its curved edges.

The southern cauldron posed more of a challenge. Kent hovered before it, inspecting the delicate inscriptions carved into the stone. Lines of arcane script twisted and overlapped, forming complex patterns that pulsed faintly beneath his touch.

Kent frowned, drawing upon the manual's teachings, tracing the inscriptions with care.

While Kent lit the cauldrons, others were watching with wide open mouths.

Kent understood the inscription and tried to create the respective flames mentioned on the cauldron.

"Azure Beast Flames," he concluded, gathering his energy. Green fire roared to life, surging forward in a torrential blaze. The cauldron roared as the azure flames consumed it, leaving behind trails of glowing embers.

Finally, Kent approached the northern cauldron. Unlike the others, this vessel bore dark, jagged symbols, radiating an ominous aura that sent shivers down his spine.

"Demonic Forbidden Flame..." Kent whispered, recognizing the challenge ahead. He spent three hours crafting the flame, delicately weaving threads of dark energy into existence. The fire churned violently in his hands, resisting his control as if testing his resolve.

Gunji felt her chest tightening at the sight of demonic forbidden flames. But she tried to act normal without revealing her inner turmoil.

Sweat trickled down Kent's brow, but his focus never wavered. He poured the demonic flame into the cauldron, watching as it devoured the interior with sinister fervor. The ground trembled beneath him as the final cauldron awakened.

"Boom"

A bright, blinding red light erupted from the shrine, transforming the full moon into a blood moon.

The landscape bathed in crimson light, shadows stretching unnaturally across the sand. Slowly, the peak of the shrine began to shift, stone slabs parting to reveal an opening at the summit.

Kent hovered in the air, staring down at the entrance with solemn determination. The shrine had revealed its path, but the journey within lay cloaked in darkness. He descended carefully, landing at the base of the shrine as the air grew heavy with unspoken anticipation.

"Grizzac... I will honor my word," Kent whispered. His hand brushed against the worn manual at his side. The gate to the shrine stood open, and Kent removed his metal boots and took his first step forward.
