SuperStar!

Chapter 86: Jones family IV

The next few days flew by in a whirlwind of joy and togetherness for Ethan. Surrounded by the people he loved most; he couldn't help but feel incredibly blessed. The memories unfolded like scenes from a heartfelt movie, starting with an unforgettable dinner at David and Cynthia's home.

David's shock at seeing Ethan Walk through the door was priceless. "You've got to be kidding me!" David exclaimed, his face a mix of disbelief and joy. Ethan's laughter filled the room as he hugged his father's old friend. The evening only grew more special. They shared stories, reminiscing about their younger days, and Cynthia's cooking was nothing short of perfection. At one point, Ethan even performed a private concert in their living room. Amid his melodies, he joked, "Normally, I should charge a million dollars for a private concert, but since you're a special audience, I'll just take the corner piece of the lasagna." His humor earned a wave of laughter, cementing the night as a cherished memory. As the evening wound down, David pulled Ethan aside to thank him. "You didn't have to do this, but you made our year having a superstar perform in your living room doesnt happen often. You always have a way of showing up at the right time." Ethan smiled, feeling the warmth.

Christmas morning was equally magical. The family gathered around the tree, their faces alight with excitement and warmth. Gifts were exchanged amid laughter and heartfelt hugs. Precious squealed with delight at the necklace Ethan had picked out for her, while their parents exchanged knowing glances at the thoughtfulness of their son. At one point, Adam, Ethan's father, stumbled upon Precious kissing her "friend" Isaiah under the mistletoe. With a mischievous grin, Ethan teased, "Just friends, huh? Right." Precious's flustered response only added to the laughter. Isaiah, trying to salvage the moment, mumbled something about tradition, but the family's amusement was unstoppable.

Later that day, Ethan shared a family photo on Instagram, capturing the festive spirit. The post quickly went viral, with comments flooding in. Some fans couldn't resist gushing over his family's looks: "OMG, Ethan should move away; I need his dad now!" one wrote, while another quipped, "LOL, did you see his mother? Good luck competing with that!" Amid the lighthearted banter, many wished him a Merry Christmas, spreading love and cheer. Ethan read through the comments, smiling to himself. For all his fame and success, these moments with family were what truly grounded him.

The family outing to the park was another highlight, though not without its drama. The crisp winter air was filled with laughter as they explored the rides and games. Precious and Isaiah paired up for a friendly competition at the ring toss, while Adam and Emily enjoyed a quiet moment on a bench, watching their children. Ethan, trying to remain incognito, wore a cap and sunglasses, but his efforts were short-lived. While enjoying a ride, his disguise slipped, and a mob of fans quickly recognized him. Chaos ensued as they chased him through the park. Ethan narrowly escaped by ducking backstage with the help of a staff member. Grateful for the impromptu hideout, he signed autographs in return for the favor, turning a chaotic moment into a memorable one. "Not exactly the low-key day I planned," he joked to the staff, who laughed and promised to keep his secret.

New Year's Day brought the family back home. Instead of attending church, they decided to host a cozy get-together. The living room was decorated with twinkling lights and a crackling fireplace, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As the clock struck midnight, they welcomed the new year with hugs and heartfelt wishes. Adam embraced his wife, Emily, whispering something that made her laugh softly. Precious hugged Isaiah, who had joined them for the holidays. His presence was a reminder of the kindness they shared—his mother had passed away when he was young, and his workaholic father was often absent. Isaiah's gratitude was evident as he smiled shyly, appreciating the warmth of their family.

Adam, ever the protective father, cleared his throat loudly, prompting Isaiah to awkwardly step back from Precious. She shot her dad a withering look, but the moment was quickly softened by laughter as Ethan watched on with amusement. "Classic Dad," he muttered, earning a playful nudge from Precious.

Amid the celebrations, Ethan's phone buzzed with a message from his agent, Bill. Bill was in Switzerland with his wife, son Paul, and Paul's girlfriend's family, Victoria. The message read: "Happy New Year! This is going to be your year, Ethan. We'll conquer it together. The year of Ethan Jones!"

Smiling at the message, Ethan glanced back at his family. A wave of determination surged through him, warming him from the inside out. These moments reminded him why he worked so hard, why he pushed himself to be the best. His eyes burned with resolve. He was ready to crush his upcoming concert and take the Grammys by storm. This year, he would give it everything he had—double the effort, double the success. Ethan Jones was just getting started.

As the night wore on, the family gathered around the fireplace to share their hopes for the new year. Ethan listened intently as each person spoke, their dreams and goals weaving a tapestry of love and ambition. When it was his turn, he simply said, "I want to make you all proud. That's my biggest goal." His words were met with applause and a few tears, the weight of their support filling the room.

In that moment, surrounded by laughter and love, Ethan knew that no matter how far his star rose, his family would always be his anchor.
