Superman - Rise of an Empire

Chapter 2: Season 1, Chapter 2: The Fall and the Rise

As the vault doors opened, Clark lifted the last remaining pieces of Kryptonite. His hands, steady yet firm, held the glowing remnants of his homeworld's destruction. With a powerful throw, he sent them hurtling into the Sun.

At first, nothing happened. Then, the Sun's brilliant yellow hue began to shift—turning a deep, ominous red. Clark barely had time to register the change before he felt it. His strength wavered. His vision blurred. A crushing weakness overtook him.

He collapsed to the ground. His powers—gone.

The world kept moving. Days turned to weeks, then months. Without his superhuman abilities, Clark Kent was truly human for the first time in his life. But he did not fall into despair. Instead, he adapted. Trained. Fought.

With nothing but his intelligence and determination, he climbed the ranks of the U.S. government. Within years, he became a legend in the intelligence world, eventually rising to the position of Director of the CIA. He became the unseen force that protected nations from the shadows, mastering espionage, strategy, and combat. His name was whispered in fear and awe among the world's most dangerous men.

But even as he sat at the top, something inside him longed for the power he had once wielded. The power to protect on a greater scale. And as fate would have it, his journey was far from over.
