Chapter 178:
As soon as Bright said that, the property agent's expression turned strange.
He questioned, "Are you referring to Building 6 over there?"
"Hmph, I knew it. There's no way I wouldn't recognize you if you were one of the homeowners in the community. Turns out, you are just a liar!"
Immediately after he said that, Lena froze.
"A liar?"
"Yes ma'am! This guy's a total scammer! If he had claimed to be the owner of another building, he might have been telling the truth, but Building 6 over there? Absolutely not!" The agent replied. His tone was filled with certainty.
She asked, "What do you mean by that?"
"I will be frank with you. The entirety of Building 6 was just bought by a mega-rich person this morning. Now, all 200 units in it belong to one person. On top of that, all the units are currently vacant. The owner hasn't come yet. Who are yiu trying to fool by claiming that Building 6 is yours?" The property agent said arrogantly.
After all, even though Bright was wearing branded clothes, he was simply too young in the property agent's eyes.
It seemed evident that Bright was just trying to show off in front of Lena.
When Lena heard that, she was somewhat taken aback.
Waves were coursing through her heart.
Someone had bought out an entire building with 200 units in it?
From what she knew, the only person who could do something so arrogant and bold was the man before her.
Bright bought out an entire building with 200 units in it!
After all, she was well aware of Bright's financial strength.
He was a major shareholder of Triumph Group.
That being said, what would be so strange about him buying 200 units?
With Bright's caliber, what would be strange about him buying 200 units?
Bright sat there, with his legs crossed.
A fre hints of curiosity were evident on his expression.
"You are asking me to leave?" Looking at the property agent, a distinct sense of displeasure filled his eyes.
"Indeed! That's right! I'm giving you one last minute. If you still don't leave, then don't blame me if I call security." He stated.
At that point, Bright could do nothing but sneer.
However, right then, an electric bike hastily pulled over at the roadside outside the door.
Without even taking the time to properly park the bike, a man with slicked-back hair and a powdered face hurriedly rushed in.
He blurted, "Where is Mr. John? Where is Mr. John?"
The property manager was full of panic.
Just moments ago, he received a call informing him of Bright's arrival.
Without wasting a second, he raced back in a mad hurry.
After all, Bright was a major client of their company.
After all, who was Bright?
He was a major client of their company! He had purchased an entire building on his own.
Meanwhile, the property agent was somewhat baffled.
In a state of extreme anxiety, the property manager exclaimed, "You don't know! Mr. John, who bought Building 6, is here! Can't you see which one he is?"
The new owner of Building 6, Mr. John had arrived.
Could it be that…
Sweat sprouted on the forehead of the property agent.
He was stealthily glancing towards Bright.
In his heart, tremendous uneasiness was brewing.
He wondered, "Could it be him? Impossible! There's no way! How could Mr. John, who is wealthy enough to buy the entirety of Building 6, be so young?"
At that moment, the female property agent walked out from the pantry, carrying a tea set. Then, she placed it on the tea table.
While pouring tea for Bright, she said, "Mr. Morris, this is Mr. John."
As soon as she said that, a flattering smile bloomed on the manager's face.
He said, "So sorry, Mr. John!"
At that moment, the other property agent's face turned pale as sheet. He took a few steps back, his face full of panic.
So, he was really Bright? This guy was clearly just a young man in his twenties.
How could it be possible for him to fork out over 20 billion dollars to buy a whole building?
Had the world gone mad, or was he dreaming?
Instantly, the agent's face turned pale.
Bright, however, took a calm sip of his tea.
He asked, "Are you the manager of Avenue Realty, Marco Morris?"
Marco replied with a grin.
"Well, you guys aren't that good at property management." Bright remarked calmly.
His words resonated with cold indifference.
When Marco heard that, his face slightly stiffened in surprise. "What? Mr. John, what aspect of our property management has not met your expectations? Please provide your feedback so we can improve immediately!"
"Hmph! No, no, you guys are doing an amazing job! How could I give my feedback? I'm worried that if I do, you guys might decide to kick me out of the neighborhood!" Bright replied.
As soon as those words left his mouth, Marco was utterly dumbfounded.
Kicked out from the neighborhood? What was that all about?
Just as he was feeling bewildered, the property agent next to him turned a ghastly shade of white.
Marco's expression looked somewhat unsightly.
Then, he turned to look at the property agent standing next to him and asked, "Was it you?"
Marco looked incredibly displeased. His overall demeanor seemed gloomy, and his tone was even frostier.
"You idiot! Who gave you the right?!" He roared.
Marco was really about to faint from anger. After all, Bright was a major client of theirs.
In fact, that very morning, the president of their headquarters had personally called him and given him explicit instructions to treat Bright with the utmost respect.
They were not allowed to offend Bright under any circumstances.
However, his subordinate had just crossed Bright completely.
If Bright were to seriously pursue the matter, Marco's job as a property manager would be threatened.
At that moment, Marco was seething with rage.
Meanwhile, the property agent's face had practically gone white.
With trembling lips, he stammered, "M-Mr. Morris, I-I really didn't know he was Mr. John! If I had known, I would never have dared to offend him like that!"
Marco instantly roared, "Apologize to Mr. John now!"
