Super Strong Little Divine Farmer

Chapter 1110: Your Responsibility

The door closed, and Lin Chen's gaze finally fell on the woman in front of him.

"Oh my, could this be a test from the Hall Master of the Medicine Sect?"

The woman in front of him was wearing a small red apron and an ultra-short skirt that showed her navel. Her slender legs, though a bit rough, were quite appealing in black lace stockings.

"Boss, why are you just standing there?" the woman said as she pulled Lin Chen toward the bed.

Lin Chen was speechless: "Are you sure your name is really Shu Ya?"

"Oh, young man, I can be whoever you want me to be," the woman said, trying to take off Lin Chen's clothes.

Those who usually came here were men of an older and rougher type, so someone like Lin Chen was a rarity.

Seeing Lin Chen was like a young she-wolf spotting prey; the woman looked at him with fiery eyes.

Lin Chen finally realized he must have come to the wrong place; this woman definitely wasn't the Shu Ya he was looking for.

However, the beauty in front of him showed her skills, quickly stripping Lin Chen of his clothes with a few deft pulls.

Just as Lin Chen was preparing to break away from the young she-wolf, who seemed intent on devouring him, the door suddenly burst open with a bang.

Lin Chen turned around to see Xu Wei standing in the doorway in a smart police uniform.

Upon seeing a police officer, the previously aggressive young she-wolf instantly turned into a frightened little rabbit and dove into the bedclothes.

Lin Chen, seeing a familiar face, looked awkward: "Uh, don't get the wrong idea, this is all a misunderstanding."

Xu Wei sneered: "A misunderstanding? You're just as rotten as I thought."

Saying this, Xu Wei slapped handcuffs onto Lin Chen: "You're under arrest for violating public order regulations."

Lin Chen knew that Xu Wei was being so harsh on him because of the anger left in her heart from him ditching her last time, so he didn't resist and let Xu Wei take him away obediently.

The little beauty on the bed was completely confused. Wasn't it standard to catch both parties in the act? How come they only took the young guy away?

Once in the police car, Lin Chen wore a flattering expression: "Xu Wei, we go way back, do you really need to be this serious?"

Xu Wei snorted coldly: "We go way back? Do I know you like that?"

Lin Chen sighed: "If you really don't let me go, I just got a lead on a serial killer. The informant is at the Hundred Flowers Pharmacy, and I accidentally got dropped off at the wrong place by a shady cab. If you don't let me go, the lead might disappear, and the killer might never be caught."

Xu Wei's eyes lit up: "Are you telling the truth?"

Lin Chen nodded: "Of course it's true! If you don't believe me, you can come with me!"

Xu Wei nodded and drove towards the Hundred Flowers Pharmacy.

At the pharmacy, Xu Wei unlocked one of Lin Chen's handcuffs but cuffed the other side to herself.

Lin Chen smiled wryly: "Officer Xu, isn't this a bit much?"

Xu Wei huffed: "Quit whining and get out of the car."

As they got out of the car, Xu Wei suddenly felt someone holding her delicate hand.

Her face flushed: "What are you doing?"

Lin Chen, holding her smooth hand, felt quite pleased internally.

"The pharmacy is crowded, and we're wearing handcuffs. We'll get a lot of attention!" Lin Chen said, clutching Xu Wei's hand even tighter.

Xu Wei hadn't anticipated that, in trying to be cautious, she gave this guy an excuse to take advantage of her.

But Lin Chen did make sense, and Xu Wei couldn't find fault with his reasoning.

Hundred Flowers Pharmacy was the largest Chinese medicine shop in the Flower Market, bustling with people inside.

Xu Wei was naturally attractive, and in her smart police uniform, she immediately drew everyone's attention upon entering.

"Wow! That policewoman is stunning. But it's a shame she's taken. Look how tightly they're holding hands!"

"Damn, that guy's not even better looking than me, and he's dressed in cheap clothes. How did this beautiful policewoman fall for him?"

Many of those buying herbs were the Flower Market's rich second generation, so they were all envious upon seeing Lin Chen holding Xu Wei's hand.

Lin Chen did not care about the envious looks around him and appeared at ease.

Xu Wei's face turned red amid the surrounding chatter, but for the sake of the mission, she could only grit her teeth and bear it.

As the two of them entered the store, they immediately heard a commotion inside.

A burly man was shouting at a young woman: "You're useless! You can't even have a child. What use are you? We'll divorce when we get back."

The girl looked aggrieved: "I don't have a choice either. We've seen both Chinese and Western doctors, and none have found any issues. How do you know it's me who can't have a child?"

"Damn it, still arguing? I'm strong and healthy, so if it's not because of you, then who else?" said the burly man, raising his hand to slap her.

The burly man was muscular, and that slap would undoubtedly swell the girl's cheek.

But just then, Shu Ya frowned and was about to intervene, when someone else beat her to it by grabbing the man's wrist.

The man was startled at being caught, then his eyes flashed fiercely as he applied more force.

Unexpectedly, despite using all his strength, his hand remained suspended mid-air, completely immobile.

"You have the nerve to hit your woman? Not being able to have kids isn't her fault; it's mainly your responsibility." Lin Chen said calmly.

"What?" The man was taken aback by Lin Chen's words and then grew furious.

"You little brat, what nonsense are you spewing? Me? I'm as strong as an ox and vigorous; I can go four or five times a night..." the man raged.

"Tch, what good is four or five times a night when all your little guys are dead? A hundred times wouldn't make a difference," Lin Chen retorted disdainfully.

"What did you say?" The man froze, then erupted in rage.

"You're talking crap, who says all my swimmers are dead? Running your mouth off; I'll squash you today." He said, losing face amid the whispers around him, his face reddening as he prepared to make a move.

"I can prescribe you a medicine and guarantee you'll have a big healthy boy." Lin Chen said, smiling.

"Boom!"

The man's fist suddenly stopped an inch from Lin Chen's nose: "Are you serious?"

Listening to Lin Chen's words, murmurs of disbelief erupted around them: "This kid is outrageously arrogant, posing as a miracle doctor at his age."

"Right, Chinese medicine practitioners become more valuable with age. This kid probably hasn't even graduated from medical school yet."

"This must be a swindler, bluffing right here!"

As he heard the crowd's comments, the man's eyes cleared, and he angrily said: "Kid, you're having me on."

"Who's playing you? I can assure you that your wife will conceive within a week. If not, you can always come back to this shop and find its owner, Shu Ya, she's my friend," Lin Chen said with a calm smile.

Next to him, Shu Ya was startled, then her expression slightly changed: "Who is this guy, and why does he expect me to take the fall for his mess?"

However, she suddenly recalled Lin Chen's voice, realizing he was the Saint Envoy from the Medicine Sect.

Recognizing Lin Chen's identity, Shu Ya stepped forward: "Sir, rest assured, this gentleman is a visiting professor at our pharmacy. I, Shu Ya, am willing to vouch for him. If you take his prescription and your wife's belly does not show signs of pregnancy in a week, we will take full responsibility."

"What?" Upon hearing Shu Ya's words, everyone around was stunned.
