Chapter 472: Kick and Fly_1
Lin Feng looked back to see three short-haired men wearing large gold necklaces. Each held a plate of buffet food and was laughing suggestively while surveying the beauties at Lin Feng's table.
"What are you looking at, punk? Looking for a beating, huh? Scram and find another seat!" A man with an azure dragon tattoo on his arm glared fiercely at Lin Feng, snarling with a grim expression.
The buffet in the Water Ling Long restaurant had no assigned seating; guests chose their own spots. The table Lin Feng was at could seat about eight people. If the three men had simply wanted to share, it would have been a bit cramped but manageable. However, their insolence instantly ignited Lin Feng's anger.
People who dared to speak so arrogantly to the White Wolf King were truly few and far between!
Lin Feng frowned, about to drive the three away, when he suddenly heard Xu Jing speak.
"Hey! How can you speak to my student like that? Have you no respect?" Xu Jing rebuked the man with the azure dragon tattoo, her brows knitted, her tone righteous.
"Oh? So the pretty lady is a teacher, huh? Tsk tsk... you're truly beautiful..." The tattooed man leered at Xu Jing, his voice a grating rasp. "I, Xu Zhongqiang, have had my fun with plenty of college girls, but never a teacher. I wonder, could this beautiful teacher come to my room tonight for some... private tutoring? Hahaha..."
"Private tutoring? Tsk tsk, Brother Qiang, you have such a way with words! So refined, truly impressive!"
"Brother Qiang, I'd like some 'private tutoring' from a beautiful teacher too!"
At Xu Zhongqiang's words, his two followers hooted and hollered, fawning over him with crude flattery.
Xu Jing was not a naive young girl. Though she had never had a boyfriend, she understood such crude, suggestive jokes. The 'private tutoring' they spoke of was clearly referring to those sordid activities.
"Hmph! If you want to sit, fine, but watch your mouths..." Xu Jing ignored Xu Zhongqiang's provocation and said coolly.
A warmth spread through Lin Feng's heart. He glanced at Xu Jing, knowing this beautiful homeroom teacher was doing her best to protect him. As a young, attractive woman in such an establishment, she would naturally draw unwanted attention. He was deeply grateful that she was still willing to stand up for him.
"I never insult people..." Xu Zhongqiang chuckled, shaking his head. "Especially not a woman like you. Hahaha!"
"You..." Xu Jing was, after all, an innocent young woman, and Xu Zhongqiang's crude words were beginning to affect her.
Lin Feng's eyes narrowed, a cold glint flashing within them. He gently patted Xu Jing's hand and said reassuringly, "Teacher Xu, let me have a 'chat' with them."
"Well, well, the kid's got some nerve, doesn't he..." Hearing Lin Feng, Xu Zhongqiang burst into exaggerated laughter.
His two underlings also joined in the laughter.
"Lin Feng... don't... They're clearly troublemakers. You're a student; it's best you don't get involved with them!" Xu Jing, fiercely loyal, was unaware that Lin Feng's combat prowess was enough to defeat a dozen thugs like Xu Zhongqiang. She frowned and whispered in Lin Feng's ear.
"Tsk tsk, what a dedicated teacher..." Xu Zhongqiang's greedy gaze swept over Xu Jing, then paused on Su Zi and Ning Aoxue. After sizing them up, he casually reached for Lin Feng's shoulder, sneering, "Kid, still not scramming? You itching for a beating?"
"Hmph! Courting death!" Lin Feng snorted coldly. His Left Hand shot out, grabbing Xu Zhongqiang's right hand. With a gentle pull and a light trip of his foot, Xu Zhongqiang, with his considerable bulk, pitched forward, landing face-first on the ground in an undignified sprawl. The food from his plate scattered everywhere!
"Boss!" "Brother Qiang!" Seeing Lin Feng so easily topple Xu Zhongqiang, his two followers panicked and rushed over to help him up.
"Damn it!" Xu Zhongqiang, deftly tripped by Lin Feng, wasn't seriously hurt. Helped up by his two followers, he scrambled to his feet. His beady, triangular eyes narrowed as he stared fixedly at Lin Feng. "I misjudged. This kid is actually a trained fighter!"
Xu Zhongqiang had been around and knew a thing or two, having encountered several martial arts practitioners. He recognized Lin Feng's smooth and fluid skill at a glance. Though not overtly powerful, it was clearly the result of training. So that's it, he thought. The kid has some backing. No wonder he was acting so strangely.
Wiping food from his face, Xu Zhongqiang pointed at Lin Feng and snarled at his two underlings, "Du Fei! Yan Ke! And you, Tao Jiachuo! Break one of his arms for me! Damn it all! Daring to touch me? You're tired of living!"
At Xu Zhongqiang's command, his two followers, Du Fei and Yan Ke, each produced a small Spring Knife, grinning coldly at Lin Feng.
"Ah! Lin Feng, be careful!" Xu Jing cried out in panic when she saw the knives. "What do you think you're doing? This is a public place! Don't do anything rash!"
Seeing knives drawn at such close quarters made Su Zi and Ning Aoxue turn pale. However, knowing Lin Feng was quite skilled in combat, they each took one of Xu Jing's arms and pulled her back.
When the other customers in the hall saw the knives, they all scrambled to get away. In an instant, a large clear space formed in the middle of the hall, leaving only Lin Feng and Xu Zhongqiang's group.
"Kid, you're pretty arrogant. Let's see what's tougher, your fists and feet or my knife!" Du Fei, a lock of bleached-yellow hair falling over his forehead, twirled his small knife and said casually to Lin Feng.
"Brother Fei, maybe we... should attack together?" Yan Ke, who had a buzz cut, looked scared. He swallowed hard and said, trying to sound tough but his voice betraying his fear.
"Little Ke, what the hell are you afraid of? I wasn't this timid the first time I cut someone!" Du Fei sneered at Yan Ke, shaking his head.
"Let me show you how a real man uses a knife!" Du Fei smirked, then suddenly lunged forward two steps, thrusting his Spring Knife straight at Lin Feng's abdomen.
Although Xu Zhongqiang had ordered him to break Lin Feng's arm, Du Fei knew Lin Feng was a trained fighter. He figured he wouldn't necessarily win unless he struck a crippling blow, so his attack was ruthless.
Seeing Du Fei's charge, which was full of openings, Lin Feng merely smiled faintly. He said nothing, then executed a graceful whip kick, the tip of his foot connecting solidly with Du Fei's chest and sending him flying.
"ARGH!" Du Fei only had time for a short, sharp cry before he crashed into a table and collapsed, unable to get back up.
Lin Feng then leisurely turned his gaze to Yan Ke and beckoned casually with his hand, as if inviting him to make his move.
Yan Ke glanced nervously at Du Fei, who had been kicked more than ten meters away. When he looked back at Lin Feng, his hand holding the Spring Knife was trembling so much he could barely keep his grip.
What kind of monster is this guy?!
