"How am I setting you up?" Ning Aoxue asked, curious.

"If you starve yourself to death, wouldn't I be derelict in my duty?" Lin Feng explained to Ning Aoxue in all seriousness. "My monthly salary is one hundred thousand! If you cut off my income, aren't you trying to harm me?"

"You bastard... Am I not even worth one hundred thousand in your eyes?" Ning Aoxue was somewhat annoyed. This guy is not only lecherous and fickle but also so greedy! He's the worst!

"You are, of course, you are... And worth far more than one hundred thousand!" Lin Feng snickered internally but said with a smile, "Protect you well, and I can get a one-million bonus..."

Hearing the first half of Lin Feng's sentence, Ning Aoxue felt a surge of delight, but by the time he finished, she felt utterly wronged. When it comes down to it, this guy is still all about the money; he doesn't care about me at all...
