"So basically, there are these orbs we found when we dug deeper into the cores of the planets. Some of the guilds managed to study some of them and found out they have the ability to increase the powers of the person holding them. And in your case…." Spider said as he pulled out a photograph of an orange crystal orb and handed it to Aries "We found the storage orb. Originally it belonged to the Humanity's army but it recently was stolen by some agents from the Luno organization. The villain group which is often confused with us of the Nighttime guild. Now is where you come in. We found the compatibility between you and the orb surpasses 95%, so we wanted to reach you before the Luno organization to make sure they don't monopolize or harm you"

"So, what's the catch?" Aries asked knowingly "What's in it for you?"

Spider stared at Aries for a second before a laugh escaped his mouth "Wow! You are quite mature for your age. As you know, nothing comes for free, and the price for the increased power is just signing this contract" he said as he passed Aries a paper and a pen

"What is that?" Aries said as he took the contract and started reading it "It says here you have 'prioritized rights' to any new knowledge I get from using the orb? What does that mean?"

"So basically, it means that if you ever get information about the nature or origin of the orbs form your usage you have to come tell us first. And you can't disclose the information you gained if we don't want you to" Spider replied

"And this part, 'absolute loyalty to Miss Nighttime', what does it mean and who is Miss Nighttime?"

Spider's face shifted a little "You don't know Miss Nighttime? The third successor of the Nighttime guild? One of the most prominent figures of the new world? Were you living under a rock or something?"

Aries made an uncomfortable expression knowing they couldn't afford watching TV while he was growing up. He looked up to Spider then asked "So she's the person in charge of this whole guild. And I have to be absolutely loyal to her…. And not the guild itself?"

Spider nodded as he stood up from the spider leg chair he was sitting on "This place seems a bit stuffy. Care for a walk? We'll pass by the cafeteria on our way so you can get something to drink if you want" He said as the spider legs started contracting into his back making a gross sound as they did before they completely disappeared

Aries face showed clear disgust before nodding along. In the cafeteria, as Spider was at the counter making them both mugs of coffee, Aries was examining the crystal mugs they had. Two of them then caught his eyes.
