Chapter 758: Returning to Familiar Grounds

Flying through the sky, Ian's back was adorned with enormous flaming wings, and golden aura emanated from his body. Skimming just above the sea surface, he left behind a white trail split by the wind pressure.

Flying from Wano Country had taken Ian quite some time, but now he could already see the majestic silhouette of the Red Line in the distance.

Currently, among the members of the Dragon Hunter Pirates, there's a cautionary saying: when the captain says he'll "take you flying in style," never agree!

Whoever believes it is a fool!

"Speed and passion" might sound good, but when Ian flies in the sky at supersonic speeds, and keeps accelerating, his passengers definitely don't feel any excitement!

Now, the "passenger" Ian was carrying, Queen the Plague, was a perfect example…

When leaving Wano Country, to conveniently bring along this fox beauty, Ian found a thick stick, tied Queen's hands and feet together, then bound her to the stick, and finally hoisted the stick onto his shoulder—job done.

Ian believed there was nothing wrong with this method of tying her up. Isn't this how it's portrayed in "Journey to the West"? Capture Tang Sanzang, tie him to a stick, and two little demons carry him back to the cave, one at the front and one at the back.

However, as the person involved, Queen didn't think so. She felt that her bound posture was very shameful, like performing a pole dance. She believed Ian did it on purpose, so she was seething with anger.

During the journey, Queen endured enormous wind pressure. The skin and muscles on her face were constantly changing shape under the wind. She couldn't open her eyelids; the tears in her eyes were blown away the moment they appeared. When she tried to open her mouth to shout, the strong wind immediately forced the air back. Her originally slightly curly fur was all straightened out (blown straight), as if she had gone to a hair salon. The fur fluttered behind her head and body, like flags waving in the wind.

Ian didn't understand at all. When he flew, the golden aura around him isolated him from the wind pressure. But those he carried could only bear it. This was why the members of the Dragon Hunter Pirates were unwilling to be carried by Ian when he flew…

At this moment, Queen the Plague wanted to die. She never imagined that being carried while flying would be such a terrifying experience.

She couldn't break free from the ropes either, because below was the ocean. Even if she wasn't drowned after falling, Ian would fish her out and tie her up again. By then, being soaked and blown by the wind would be even more uncomfortable!

Don't doubt it; she had actually experienced it once already…

So when she barely squinted her eyes and saw the shadow of the Red Line, she was so excited she wanted to cry!

Finally arrived, finally no longer have to suffer like this…

However, Ian was unaware of Queen's mental journey. When he began to slow down, preparing to fly over the Red Line, he finally noticed something was off about Queen's mood and asked puzzledly, "What's wrong with you?"

Queen wanted to curse, but the muscles around her mouth were numb from the wind, stiff beyond belief, so she could only make muffled sounds. Seeing that he couldn't understand, Ian scratched his head and simply ignored her reaction.

This attitude almost made Queen faint with anger.

But actually, Ian didn't realize this at all. In his view, aren't the Mink Tribe said to be natural-born warriors? And Queen was Kaido's top officer; how could anything happen to her?

So Ian didn't consider her feelings at all. As he approached the Red Line, he was still pondering how to hand over Queen the Plague to the Navy and the World Government.

It wouldn't work to appear openly like this. Given his current status, as soon as he showed up at Marineford, he'd be greeted by countless bullets and cannonballs, and many Marine soldiers would be firing while exclaiming in horror, "Oh no! Black Dragon Ian is here again!" or something like that…

If it turned out like that, Ian wouldn't even be able to hand over Queen.

Moreover, that guy Akainu isn't stupid. If he just sent Queen the Plague to them like this, it would look suspicious, right? It would seem like he's trying to make the Navy take the blame.

Anyway, putting himself in Akainu's shoes, Ian felt that if he were Akainu, he wouldn't accept it either. So what if she's one of the Three Disasters of the Beasts Pirates? He could just refuse to accept her!

This situation made Ian scratch his head, so after thinking it over, he decided not to go to Marineford for now but headed to the Sabaody Archipelago instead. He thought that if he wanted to hand over Queen, he'd need to come up with a better plan.

So, after crossing the Red Line, Ian flew straight toward the Sabaody Archipelago. He hadn't seen Uncle Rayleigh and Aunt Shakky for a long time and thought he could visit them.

However, while passing over the Red Line, Ian paid special attention.

He remembered that Uncle Fujitora and the others had said that the last time they flew over the Red Line, they saw a huge shadow in the clouds high above it, not knowing what it was. So this time, Ian also paid special attention, wanting to see if it was true.

However, after lingering here for quite a while, Ian didn't see any so-called shadow.

Slightly puzzled, Ian knew that overthinking wouldn't help, so he shook his head and flew away.

Reaching the sky above the Sabaody Archipelago, Ian looked down from high altitude and noticed that the part of the island he had destroyed during his battle with Aokiji and Kizaru still remained. The Navy hadn't thought of filling it in, so from above, the edge of the Sabaody Archipelago looked like an apple with a bite taken out of it.

This reminded Ian of his old iPhone…

Casually choosing a sparsely populated area, Ian landed. As he checked the numbering of the mangrove trees, he began searching for the direction to Shakky's Rip-off Bar.

Queen the Plague finally recovered a bit and could speak. She yelled loudly for Ian to put her down, but Ian was unwilling. If he let her down to walk on her own, he'd have to guard against her escaping when he wasn't paying attention. It was better to just carry her like this.

Then, annoyed by Queen's noisy shouting, he simply stuffed a cloth into her mouth to gag her.

When Ian did this, he didn't think much of it, but he forgot one thing: this was the Sabaody Archipelago. His behavior looked just like that of a human trafficker…

So, very quickly, Ian sensed through his En field that several sneaky figures appeared not far away. These people were still hiding in the shadows, but they were secretly observing him.

This made Ian a bit displeased. He thought to himself, "Damn, could it be that the human traffickers on the Sabaody Archipelago think I'm stealing their business?"

Though annoyed, Ian didn't care much. He'd just wait for them to jump out and then deal with them properly, so he continued walking.

This made those hiding and watching unable to bear it any longer, and they all emerged from their hiding places.

There were sixteen of them, dressed differently, none looking like decent people. They held weapons and guns, forming a half-moon shape to surround Ian.

"Kid! Where are you from!?" The leader, a man holding a pistol, raised his gun and pointed it at Ian. "Judging by your appearance, you're a kidnapper, aren't you? Damn it, don't you know the rules here? How dare you kidnap people on our turf!?"

"Look closely, seems like a rare Mink Tribe member!" Someone beside him said in surprise. "Kid, you're in big trouble!"

Ian yawned boredly and lazily asked, "Oh… So what do you want?"

"This is our family's territory!" The man said fiercely. "From Mangrove 6 to 24, it's all ours! Human trafficking is strictly prohibited on our turf! Don't you know that!?"

Ian was stunned: What the hell!? Human trafficking is strictly prohibited!?

These guys didn't look like decent people, but they were speaking so righteously. When did such a group appear on the Sabaody Archipelago?

"Big brother, this guy seems to be here for the first time; we haven't seen him before!" A smaller man whispered to the leader. "He probably doesn't know our rules. How about we capture him and educate him?"

"Hmm, makes sense!" The man nodded and said to Ian, "Kid, come with us!"

However, as soon as he finished speaking, he found that Ian's figure in front of him had suddenly disappeared. Before they could react, a heavy force struck the back of their heads. Instantly, their vision went black, and they collapsed limply.

Ian couldn't be bothered to waste words with these people. Carrying Queen the Plague, he used his sword sheath to instantly knock out these sixteen guys. If it weren't for the fact that they had mentioned that human trafficking was strictly prohibited, he might have cut them down on the spot.

Ian leisurely walked away, heading to Shakky's Rip-off Bar. He treated the incident just now as a small interlude and forgot about it afterward.

It wasn't until quite a while after he left that the group on the ground slowly regained consciousness.

"Damn it, who was that guy!?" The man who had spoken earlier clutched the big bump on the back of his head in frustration, gritting his teeth. "How dare he attack us!?"

"Big brother, that guy is tough!" Someone beside him advised. "We couldn't even see his movements. He must be a formidable character. How about we go back and get more people?"

"Let's go! Get more people!" The man said. "How dare he cause trouble on the territory of the Ian Family! No matter how tough he is, we'll take him down!"
