Summoning Players into My Game

Chapter 225: Sword Falling from the Sky

White Feather Gang's stronghold.

Inside the cave, nearly a hundred fully armed City Defense Corps captains surrounded the battle arena, watching the two people fighting on stage with amazement and admiration.

The members of the White Feather Gang who were guarding the perimeter were even more shocked as they watched the two exchange blows. Their eyes couldn't keep up with the movements on the stage, and they couldn't even catch a glimpse of their silhouettes.

Finally, as a spear and a saber clashed on the arena, causing the solid platform beneath them to crack inch by inch, the two finally stopped.

"Galon, I didn't expect that after not seeing you for a while, your strength and speed have improved significantly again." The Crystal Race man, nearly three meters tall and holding a battle saber, with a green gemstone on his forehead, looked at Galon as he stepped down from the arena and sighed, "The Three-Eyed Race really lives up to its reputation as a strong race, having so many resources to exchange freely."

"Not bad, my basic strength is just about 5500 kilograms at the moment." Galon glanced at the Crystal Race man and said calmly, "However, it's you who surprised me by perfecting the Broken River, the second realm of the high-tier martial technique Mountain and River Split. If I hadn't recently broken through and perfected the second realm of Flood Dragon Kill, I wouldn't have been able to withstand your Broken River."

"I thought that after perfecting Broken River during this time, I could outpace you two, but when we crossed paths today, you both also perfected the second realm. Sharing the same term with you really is unfortunate." The Crystal Race man then looked toward the Half-Scale Race man sitting nearby, with a body over two meters tall and a pitch-black tail, feeling quite helpless.

The Chasing Light City's Defense Corps was never stingy when training talents, but in their batch of captains, apart from the three of them, resources were therefore divided into three.

The words of the Crystal Race man left the nearly hundred captains of the Defense Corps present speechless.

Galon of the Three-Eyed Race, Monroe of the Crystal Race, and Achilles of the Half-Scale Race.

These three monsters from the Chasing Light City Defense Corps had always suppressed these captains, so much that none of the captains could even come close to them, the only contention being for the fourth place.

The three monsters were far superior to the other captains who were also high-tier martial artists.

Normally, a high-tier martial artist captain would only master the first realm of a high-tier martial technique, the powerful ones among the top ten masters typically mastered two high-tier martial techniques, usually one for attack and one for step techniques, or if defense-type, that's already impressive.

But the three monsters were different. Not only did they master three high-tier martial techniques, but they also perfected the first realm of all three.

Martial techniques, when perfected, undergo a qualitative change, enhancing the body to a certain degree, let alone high-tier martial techniques.

Now the three have become even more terrifying, having perfected even the second realm of high-tier martial techniques, combined with their physical abilities far surpassing regular high-tier martial artists. Although not yet at the Bone Forging Realm, they likely match it in some aspects; truly bona fide monsters.

Once they successfully advance to the Bone Forging Realm, their strength could instantly rival the middle stage of the Bone Forging Realm martial artists, giving them considerable influence within their race, which is why these captains are willing to follow them.

At the Initial Tier of the Bone Forging Realm, some help from high-tier martial artists is still needed. For example, when hunting in the wilderness, they can focus on high-tier monsters when dealing with middle-tier ones; but upon reaching the middle stage, high-tier martial artists become completely unnecessary.

Experts at the middle stage of the Bone Forging Realm are not interested in high-tier monsters, aiming for those Junior Lords, who often have high-tier monsters around them that ordinary high-tier martial artists can't hold off for long; high-tier monsters can't withstand a single punch from a middle-stage Bone Forging Realm martial artist. In such a scenario, including high-tier martial artists might mean having to protect them, which is not worthwhile.

Unless they're trusted followers, middle-stage Bone Forging Realm martial artists typically won't bring high-tier martial artists, normally collaborating with newly advanced Initial Tier Bone Forging Realm martial artists for hunts.

And just as the three monsters were chatting, a commotion arose outside the cave.

"Why so noisy, what's happening outside?" enjoying the practice, Galon asked with a frown at the disturbance outside the cave.

The three of them hadn't had a proper spar in over six months. Although this training couldn't fully unleash their power and they held back in their moves, it was still much better than practicing alone.

They had only gone through one round and hadn't had their fill yet.

A White Feather Gang apprentice rushed in from outside, whispered something to Mans, whose expression changed slightly, and then hurried toward Galon.

"Master Galon, something's happened outside. People from the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall are attacking." Mans reported in detail, "This time about forty martial artists came, no sign of Hall Master Lin Qi, and they're less than a kilometer from our stronghold, they'll reach the cave entrance in no more than twenty seconds. Our people and some wanderers have gone to intercept, but they probably won't hold them off for long."

Hearing Mans' report, all the Defense Corps captains present laughed.

If Hall Master Lin Qi of the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall were coming, they would be more serious, but it's just over forty martial artists running over.

Not to mention the three monsters present, even their nearly hundred captains could easily deal with these people from the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall.

Monroe hoisted his battle saber, asking Mans, "Are the two who killed Steel Bone and Sharp Fang here?"
